Mar 22, 2022Absolutely amazing tactical rpg. On the Mount Rushmore of TRPGs along with final fantasy tactics, shining force, and tactics ogre. A must play for fans of the genre.

Mar 20, 2022What a wonderful story-driven game. If you like books, you don‘t shy away from medieval themes and you always wanted to be able to influence the story, this game is for you. I enjoyed the round-based tactics, the rpg elements just as much as I did the very good plot. Hope there is a successor in the works - well done, developers!

Mar 17, 2022One of the most enthralling stories ive played in a long time. My only complaint is wanting the recruitable characters to have a bigger impact on the story.

Mar 16, 2022Fantastic game. A little slow for some, with lots of dialogue and lore, but with excellent battle and development systems, a nicely crafted story with beautiful graphics and lush audio design and soundtrack.

Mar 16, 2022playing it I have some nostalgic moments that reminded me of final fantasy tactic, but the more I play it the more I see a completely different game to final fantasy tactic and that's what makes it all triangle strategy a unique game

Mar 16, 2022If you can get through the story heavy 2 hours, you'll be greeted with an amazing experience with challenging combat and tough choices.

Mar 16, 2022One of my favorite tactical SRPGs of all time and easily one of the best games of this generation. Outstanding! I didn't expected this....

Mar 15, 2022Whoever wrote the story for this game really thought their audience would be captivated with dull political lore and hidden nuances within the story. I have probably skipped like 6 early game cutscenes waiting for the next battle. Even octopath wasn't this bad. Square Enix dropped the ball on this Story wise. Gameplay is what you'd expect out of a tactical rpg. Nothing blew me away.

Mar 13, 2022This game is epic its the best game I've played on switch it's right up there with breath of the wild for me . Sad thing is hardly anyone will have the patience to play it

Mar 12, 2022Can’t get over the absurd amount of dialogue and handholding. Looks cool, so points there…

Mar 11, 2022Phenomenal game with a great story line and so many political layers built on top that add suspense, excitement and surprise. The conviction mechanic is great and you have an affinity for the characters. Its very much like Game of Thrones. The battles themselves are absorbing.

Mar 10, 2022The story and battle is really fun !
If you’re JRPG fan definitely you should try this game !! Only concern is for someone who don’t like to read many texts and too cutscenes and slow pace games then you might feel little boring because there are many texts and cutscenes!! (I loved it -
Mar 10, 2022Excellent gameplay with great story. The games allows a lot of choices with multiple different outcomes for replays. The story reminded me of game of thrones and gameplay was top tier. Any tactics fans need to play this.

Mar 9, 2022One of my favorite tactical/strategy games that's out for the switch, alongside Fire Emblem Three Houses. One of my only main issues is the inconsistent quality on the English voice acting. Some may get turned off by the long and exposition heavy cutscenes especially at the beginning, but I've personally enjoyed them.

Mar 9, 2022Written like a middle school fan fiction of the War of the Roses. While it picks up later in the game its still very poorly written and expects a LOT of the player to endure completely unneeded linguistic flourishes that are strewn about haphazardly and add nothing to the plot but run time

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 30, 2024A great title that manages to tell a gripping political thriller while entertaining you with great tactical battles that are simple at the core but offer a wide range of possibilities. A great, slow, relaxing game to keep your brain occupied. [Issue#319]

Jan 17, 2023The adventures through the Kingdom of Glenbrook provide a compelling experience, more so for those who love choice-based games that involve intriguing plots and tactical combat. Triangle Strategy is one of the few games where making decisions that matter is harder than actually winning battles. This is one of those games that could leave a mark on an entire gerne if Square Enix decides to turn it into a franchise.

Game World Navigator MagazineOct 19, 2022Story battles take about 20 minutes, while dialogue, inventory management, practice fights and everything else that takes place in-between them can take up to two hours. Nevertheless, the quality of story battles makes up for the wait because they offer a lot of variety, and every problem can be solved in a multitude of ways. [Issue#260, p.44]
