Face cards each have unique abilities (think Caravan from Fallout New Vegas) that makes the game really interesting. Lot of modes to experiment outside story mode. If you love games like hearts, solitaire, or free cell, you are going to massively enjoy this game. Expand

The video cut scenes between each mission add suitable atmosphere, the music is excellent and the presentation is slick. You also have 6 or 7 choices for your next mission each time, which is nice. Once you have managed to position an ace in active zone of the board, the Jack, Queen and King of that suit becomes 'active'. You can then play these 'active' face cards onto any other side pile to trigger the effect of that suit. There are 10 different suits in total and each one produces it's own unique ability when 'activated'. This adds an extra element of skill and strategy to the game and it does feel satisfying to finish a mission that initially seemed impossible by taking advantage of the special abilities offered by the Jack, Queen and King.
I did enjoy my playthrough of this game. I played it in 8 or 9 small bursts over about six weeks, but now that I've finished the main campaign I'm not sure I'll be returning to play this again. I think if you are a fan of solitaire games you must really give this a try. Download the demo at least - what have you got to lose?
