As a player new to solitaire, I'm guessing this is about as good as solitaire gets, and I had a pretty good time with this over the 5 or 6 hours it took me to get to the end of level 15 to roll the credits. Once you have managed to position an ace in active zone of the board, the Jack, Queen and King of that suit becomes 'active'. You can then play these 'active' face cards onto any other side pile to trigger the effect of that suit. There are 10 different suits in total and each one produces it's own unique ability when 'activated'. This adds an extra element of skill and strategy to the game and it does feel satisfying to finish a mission that initially seemed impossible by taking advantage of the special abilities offered by the Jack, Queen and King.
I did enjoy my playthrough of this game. I played it in 8 or 9 small bursts over about six weeks, but now that I've finished the main campaign I'm not sure I'll be returning to play this again. I think if you are a fan of solitaire games you must really give this a try. Download the demo at least - what have you got to lose?… Expand
