    Even though I’ve just started the game it’s already looking to be as good or even better than BOTW, yes mechanics, graphics, and gameplay are pretty much the same, but the whole ambiance feels different, and the concept of sky islands, and underground depths is really entertaining. Loving it!

    It's sad that we can't put 11. This game is not perfect, the main quest before each dungeon is not great in my opinion and the way botw handle the order of the main quest is also better but the shear amount of content this game have to offer is amazing, the side quests are great and there is a lot of side adventures as it's called in the game witch are long quest with interesting story. IIt's sad that we can't put 11.     Se siente mucho mejor que ZBOTW, es más divertido que ni ganas de hacer la historia principal, con solo ver lo que ha pasado en estos años entre ZBOTW Y ZTOTK es muy emocionante, igual de entrañable ver los personajes que conocemos más grandes

    I have played this game for about 20 hours, and have been absolutely blown away! I managed to stay spoiler free before the game launch, and am endlessly amazed by the story and gameplay. An amazing sequel all around!

    Improves in EVERY aspect of the previous title, better story, side quests, dialogs, level design, combat system, game design overall. Even being in the same world there are plenty of new things to do, everything changed.     This game is incredible. ¡Goty! I never thought I could enjoy a game the way I did with this one in so many years. A sense of nostalgia, like going back to my childhood when I couldn't wait to play video games. An unforgettable experience.

    The game is great, it's botw but on steroids, it greatly improves all of the above and innovates even more, a complete game and up to its predecessor, a very fun game, recommended.

    A beautiful sequel, from the previous trailers (before the game was released) I was wondering if it would be only a DLC game, but after a few hours of playing, I can tell that this game is indeed amazing. Sure, remembers Botw, but don't make the mistake to think that this is the same game, otherwise let's start to say that all the Call of Duty/Good of War is also the same game.     the perfect game i never see something so good in years

    impeccable mechanics raised the level of BOTW to the maximum even having the same map it has many new elements to explore and spend hours exploring beyond the underground of hyrule which is practically a new world

    It's an incredible sequel to an incredible game! It takes everything Breath of the Wild did good and improves on it. There's so much to do and the game's just so pretty and fascinating. The perfect sequel to an incredible game.

    New experience of zelda, jujur saya kira ini bakal membosankan sama seperti botw, tapi. Saya menemukan banyak mekanik baru bahkan musuh musuh yg baru, pengalaman yang menyenangkan berada di genggaman saya. Saya bisa menuangkan imajinasi saya pada game ini dan juga bisa menggunakan cara saya untuk menyelesaikan masalah di game ini.

    Eins der besten Spiele die ich jemals gespielt habe ich habe nach 20 Stunden am Stück fast die Motivation verloren weiter zu machen als ich erfahren habe das es zu Hyrule an sich (2017 wurde Hyrule schon gelobt dafür so groß zu sein da der Tutorial Teil ca 1% der Map) und den Inseln auch noch einen gesamten Untergrund gibt wie lange brauch man bitte um dieses Spiel durchzuspielen?     This game made a series of ritual sacrifices from its predecessor in order to be born. Quests will often send you on a wild goose chase to a part of the map you haven't reached yet, functionality that seems very important to the core gameplay experience is hidden away behind optional side missions, and after so long it feels like the overworld has shrank thanks to the new methods ofThis game made a series of ritual sacrifices from its predecessor in order to be born. Quests will often send you on a wild goose chase to a part of the map you haven't reached yet, functionality that seems very important to the core gameplay experience is hidden away behind optional side missions, and after so long it feels like the overworld has shrank thanks to the new methods of transportation.

    These sacrifices however, morph the gameplay experience into a slightly-less open one that continues to surprise you. You will be travelling more often to complete missions, but damn is the journey more fun than ever.

    Everything feels slightly faster for your convenience, even the teleportation transition and the shrines no longer prompt you with an introductory text each time. Even the "fade out" animation when you skip a skippable cutscene FEELS faster. The care put into this game is immense. And it shows.

    This one is not only going to be game of the year, but it will easily become a game to be remembered for generations to come. It puts other titles to shame with how brilliantly it implements creative mechanics, and I hope everyone can learn from its soul.    … Expand

    Es un tremendo juego. He jugado los juegos de la saga desde la NESS y creo que este mejoro muchas cosas del juego anterior, amplia el mapa en tres horizontes (cielo, tierra y subsuelo), agrega mecanicas geniales con la construcción de vehículos para desplazarse y agrega un sin fin de combinaciones de armas. Solo creo que falto agregar mas sets para link y ojalá en algún momento de la saga,Es un tremendo juego. Solo creo que falto agregar mas sets para link y ojalá en algún momento de la saga, implementen un sistema de niveles para link. La narrativa como siempre es espectacular y solo queda mejorar la jugabilidad en el mando (saltar con x del mando switch y pegar con Y a veces te deja muy a trasmano para hacer combinaciones como correr, saltar y pegar). Lo recomiendo completamente si te gusta explorar, resolver rompecabezas y desafios grandes, ya que las armas se rompen y los monstruos van subiendo su categoría mientras mas los vayas aniquilando. Ojalá también en un futuro DLC, amplien algo mas la obtención de rupias que en esta entrega son demasiado pocas y difíciles de obtener.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The time has come for a new Zelda game, and Nintendo hit it out of the park with this one. Breath of the Wild will always be the Wii U's Zelda, and now the switch has one to call it's own. I have only done one dungeon so far, (Wind Temple) and it was similar to a divine beast but it had more of the dungeon feel we were hoping for. The boss was also better than just another blight. To see how villages have changed and how people are rebuilding after the events of Breath of The Wild is pretty cool, and also how some have fallen into despair. The new abilities that replace the Shekia slate are all good, some allow you to build vehicles and weapons, one is similar to stasis, and one lets you travel upwards. The shrine system carries over, but there are less shrines than in Botw (I think)

    The story is great, and has me wanting to find more parts of it. I've been playing it constantly. My one complaint is that this game pushes the switch to it's max. I have a V2 switch and it can be a little laggy when you make a huge contraption with ultra hand. This has in no way affected how fun the game is though. And in conclusion, if you liked Breath of the Wild, you'll love this game. If you didn't like or didn't play Botw, it's probably not gonna be as fun for you. The dungeons are more traditional, but it's still a massive open world game that kinda relies on the player to know what they're doing.    … Expand

    I absolutely love the game! The gameplay is amazing, there is so much more than in breath of the wild. It's not just different abilities, it's a whole new hyrule. The underground & the sky islands are amazing as well, but I'm only talking about the ground portion of hyrule here! The story line is better as well. Breath of the wild never made me want to cry, but tears of the kingdomI absolutely love the game! The gameplay is amazing, there is so much more than in breath of the wild. It's not just different abilities, it's a whole new hyrule. The underground & the sky islands are amazing as well, but I'm only talking about the ground portion of hyrule here! The story line is better as well. Breath of the wild never made me want to cry, but tears of the kingdom already has, and I haven't beaten the game yet!… Expand

    I wasn't sure how Nintendo would find a way to top their work in Breath of the Wild back when it came out, but I feel they have here – with years of more polish applied and refined exploration. [Issue #66 – July/August 2023, p. 71]

    The good thing is that, thanks to the limited possibilities, the creators couldn't go crazy and swing for hundreds of game miles. Instead, they created what could be called Elden Ring in a travel pack. [Issue#328]

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
