It does world design beautifully, whilst keeping the serenity of Breath of the Wild. Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best games I have ever played. I am loving every second of it. The new story enemies, character involvement, dungeons and just everything is perfection. I love it. I really do. It's a perfect improvement on top of an already wonderous game!… Expand

    Great game. If you liked BOTW you will love this game. They have expanded, and made this game great. This game will keep you busy for a while.

    I will admit I was unsure about this game for quite awhile. However, after some of the more recent trailers and getting hands on with the game, all my doubts have need eliminated. They took an already fantastic game and managed to make it better and bigger in almost every way. This game is absolutely phenomenal! A must play if you have a Switch in my opinion.

    Really enjoying this game. Came to review because I saw it was getting bombed. This is what a sequel should be. Incredible improvements. Haven't been able to put it down

    Muy buen juego, tremenda ambientación, el estilo artístico es impecable y le queda como un guante no todo tiene que ser gráficos ultra realistas para tener buena pinta, la historia y las mazmorras también estan muy bien cuidadas y se sienten como una gran mejora con respecto a su predecesor, muy recomendado el juego

It is an awesome game, I am so far only on the first dungeon, but it is a vast improvement on Breath of the Wild, and that is one of the best games that was ever made. For example, it sort of added crafting mechanics, which players have always been asking for in Botw. It also made the return of traditional more themed dungeons, this makes it a lot more fun, I also quite enjoyed getting to use the champions decedents, and I was positively surprised at how useful they were, like it wasn't just there for the decor, it was actually fighting, and the ability that I got to use so far was very helpful. Finally, I really like the 4 abilities that I have unlocked so far (recall, ascend, fuse, and ultrahand), they are a ton of fun to play with, and it adds a creative aspect to the game. Furthermore, combining all four abilities makes it incredibly good, especially for traversing the land, which, contrary to what some people may want you to believe, was vastly expended, with a vast underground, and a lot of sky traversal. In conclusion, it is an awesome game, and it is totally worth the price!… Expand

    Después de mis primeras 10 horas de juego, debo decir que en ningún momento me he sentido jugando alguna historia adicional del BOTW, nuevas locaciones, nuevos enemigos, santuarios más desafiantes y dificultad un poco más elevada. El basto mapa que se se incluyen con las islas celestes, subsuelo y cuevas, hacen que la experiencia para jugadores antiguas sea innovadora. El único detalle queDespués de mis primeras 10 horas de juego, debo decir que en ningún momento me he sentido jugando alguna historia adicional del BOTW, nuevas locaciones, nuevos enemigos, santuarios más desafiantes y dificultad un poco más elevada. El basto mapa que se se incluyen con las islas celestes, subsuelo y cuevas, hacen que la experiencia para jugadores antiguas sea innovadora. El único detalle que tiene el juego, es el rendimiento en algunas partes del gameplay, la caída de frames cuando hay muchos enemigos o cuando se usa alguna habilidad.     Honestly, the hardware is the most disappointing thing about this game, the switch isn not powerful enough to run it, but the game is no doubt a masterpiece

    Barely into the game thusfar; I have about 50 hours already and I cant even see the final boss insight! The map is nearly 3 times larger than the original with the caves being basically as big as the overworld. The overworld's addtions and the new sky islands make up about an extra 30-60% larger map! The new mechanics are amazing and the story is so far pretty awesome! After having nearlyBarely into the game thusfar; I have about 50 hours already and I cant even see the final boss insight!     We alchile me gusta mucho el Breath of the wild, y esta es como la versión final de ese videojuego. Mejorando un montón de cosas que antes ni siquiera podías darte la idea de que podían suceder. Creo que sin problemas puede darte muchas horas más de juego que su precuela. Y que nintendo haga eso hoy en día me deja helado sabes, una compañía que muchos dan por muerta pero que al final deWe alchile me gusta mucho el Breath of the wild, y esta es como la versión final de ese videojuego.     It is simply a masterpiece, proving that the graphics at 4k 120fps do not matter when compared to the gaming experience, even though the game is at 720p and 30fps it is very enjoyable, it has very good gameplay, very good story and simply a masterpiece.

    A sequel that improves on it's legendary predecessor in almost every way! As great as BotW is, TotK makes it look like a dress rehearsal for the real show.

    No other games even comes close to comparing. There's so much to do in this world around every corner and the mechanics are mind-blowing. The more you use them the more crazy uses you find and it's just fun to sit there and expirement. This is the greatest game of all time.

However that's only a concern if your obsessed with Zelda lore and even then the gameplay makes it more of a slight annoyance. The gameplay is everything I could have hoped and more. I've been charging into the hylian monster battles riding war machines crafted exactly how I want it… Expand

    The best game I have ever played, it’s huge and so fun, it isn’t 70€ dlc pls who plays the game and thinks that? The only time that u could not like the game is if u didn’t liked botw. I played so many hours of botw and there’s so much to do, there are so many new things and secrets in game, so I obviously recommend this game to anyone.

    Do NOT let the weirdos on here tell you this game is anything lower than an 8. Metacritic stop letting people review bomb games. This is why nobody respects this site. You let a bunch of toddlers who are mad that there game didn't review as high bomb the reviews. So do better.

    10/10 game masterpiece don't miss it

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
