    This is a great game with more freedom than any game I have ever played. Even after over 600 hours of Breath of the Wild the map still feels brand new even as I walk into familier places. There nothing short of the best gameplay coming from Tears of the Kingdom and it is a must play for anyone.

    Después de jugar al juego me doy cuenta que es el juego con mallor expresión de libertad no es necesario seguir las misiones principales y puedes ir al más remoto sitio del subsuelo o cielo.
    Se nota que el juego está hecho con cariño, con buenas mecánicas y gráficos.

    Excelente juego, muy buenas mecánicas, sin duda superó a su antecesor, te pierdes en su mundo, la música es genial, muchísimas horas para perderse en este juego, lo mejor del año.

I've been playing Zelda games a long time, since the early 90's, and what Nintendo has created this time around is truly amazing. They have portrayed a version of Hyrule that should more than satisfy any Zelda fan. The spirit of any Zelda game is toTo all of you creating accounts to review bomb this game...     I'm a huge Zelda fan. I've already played for over 60 hours, and WHAT A GAME! I've completed 67% of the shrines, collected over 100 Korok seeds, explored 90% of the map, and completed half of the dungeons. It will probably take me another 60 hours to finish all the shrines and complete the game.

    Pros (in comparison to Breath of the Wild): *The gameplay is more enjoyable. *The map is    I'm a huge Zelda fan. I've already played for over 60 hours, and WHAT A GAME!     *The cinematics are amazing and have improved a lot.
    *The dungeons feel almost like proper dungeons again.
    *There is a greater variety of shrines.
    *New map bosses and a plethora of new weapon possibilities through fusing.
    *Overall, I estimate it to be 20% better than BotW.

    Cons (related to the Zelda genre):
    *While the game boasts impressive art and visuals, its appearance is becoming outdated and falls short in comparison to BotW's market at launch.
    *The dungeons are still short and easy.
    *The dungeon bosses are easy and lack clever design.
    *There are practically no moments of hard thinking or struggle.
    *The depths feel somewhat repetitive, and their design is not very appealing.
    *I miss some of the old items, particularly a musical instrument and hook shot.
    *Many Zelda fans are concerned that Nintendo might completely abandon the old genre, especially 2D. But please, Nintendo, don't do that! Keep both styles! A Link Between Worlds was amazing!    … Expand

    Fantastic game. Takes everything from the previous game and builds upon it. Incredible gameplay loop, music, enemies and runes. The music has vastly changed, in spite of what many reviews seem to be saying. It does keep motifs from previous games and a similar style to breath of the wild, but it is new and very well composed. The enemies have the perfect amount of health and scaling to make them fun to fight time and time again, and there’s TONS of enemies not seen in breath of the wild. Not only this, but the rewards for fighting enemies are far better than any in breath of the wild, and contributes to the gameplay loop. I can’t decide which rune is my favorite or the most useful because they are all incredibly useful in their own ways. All very well designed. As of right now the two places I feel it could improve are story and dungeons (keep in mind I have not fully played through either of these things yet). However, the dungeons are vastly improved from botw. All around a great game, tons of fun to play.… Expand

    This game is amazing. They have added so much to the original game, and despite being in the same general areas, it all still feels very new.

    There are a few things that aren't explained (how much time has passed from the original and spoiler kinda ****where did all the sheikah stuff go??****), despite that this is still a stunning second game.     Like most, I was shocked at the price, however after having about 10 hours of gameplay in, I would happily pay $70 for it again.

    BOTW was my favorite video game of all time, and now this may take the cake. The game is much more challenging right off the bat, and the way you approach certain enemies requires more thought than before. TOTK feels like an OG Zelda game, thanks to the added challenge which gives an ongoing puzzle feel, plus everything we all loved about BOTW.    … Expand

Don't get me wrong, some games deserve negative reviews be it for lack of quality or original content (or overall performance) and even some of my absolute favorite franchises have deserved this negative attention recently, but Tears of the Kingdom is not one of those games. I'm convinced people just want a reason to hate a game that does well. (Keep in mind, people want a reason to hate ANYTHING that does well, not just games. It's human nature.)
    Expect anyone who gives this game a good rating to be called a "NiNtEnDo FaNbOy" for actually enjoying a well made game by the few review bombers out there.    … Expand

    There have been many people who, most likely haven't played the game review bombing this game. they are saying: "this is just Breath Of The Wild but with a few new sky islands and more boring cutscenes!" But trust me, this game is truly something special. even though the game builds on many of botw's old gameplay aspects, and reused the same map, the game still seems really fresh.     my second favorite open world game of all time, it sits just behind Red Dead 2 in my book and I don't think there's much me or anyone else could say positive, that hasn't already been said a billion plus times already. If open ended creativity and freedom is what moves you in this particular genre than, prepare to be on another planet by the time you look around to see where you're at. If a game like this can do what we’re experiencing in a limited machine, that means that it’s an AWESOME game. This game is full of things to do and the storyline is beautiful. If you have only bad things to say about it based on graphics or lack of innovation, go back to your PC or PS5 games that are wonderful for the eyes, but you get extremely bored after playing for a few weeks.     I absolutely love the game! The gameplay is amazing, there is so much more than in breath of the wild. It's not just different abilities, it's a whole new hyrule. The underground & the sky islands are amazing as well, but I'm only talking about the ground portion of hyrule here! The story line is better as well. Breath of the wild never made me want to cry, but tears of the kingdomI absolutely love the game! The gameplay is amazing, there is so much more than in breath of the wild. It's not just different abilities, it's a whole new hyrule. The underground & the sky islands are amazing as well, but I'm only talking about the ground portion of hyrule here!     Best game ever. That’s all I have to say. The physics are still as great as ever, but my only complaint is that the d-pad is pretty bad so sometimes when I try to attach something to my arrows it brings me to shields instead.

    I'm about 5 to 10 hours in, I've only done the Rito dungeon so far, but let me just say this game is a masterpiece. There's so much more stuff to do, I won't spoil but if you want traditional dungeons, they are back. The story is very epic so far too. Creating things is so fun, and everything feels fresh and new. I'm constantly thinking about this game and wanting to play more, I haven'tI'm about 5 to 10 hours in, I've only done the Rito dungeon so far, but let me just say this game is a masterpiece. There's so much more stuff to do, I won't spoil but if you want traditional dungeons, they are back. The story is very epic so far too. Creating things is so fun, and everything feels fresh and new. It definitely feels new and I love the new challenges the shrines give! There is very little explanation but that's how the old-school games worked, you just have to figure it out! I love it!     The best game i've ever played in my entire life. This game made me feel like i was a kid again. I normally don't like open world games but this one made me enjoy spending time just exploring.

While lacking in a accessibility options, the game can still be played by everyone. The only gripe is that the durability for weapons is still annoyingly present, but the fusion system remedies this.     Sinceramente iba con las espectatibas muy altas y no sabía si me gustaría tanto como la precuela . Después de haberlo jugado pienso que es mucho mejor que el antecesor , es como si fuese el juego completo y el anterior una demostración. Mis espectatibas aún siguen altas por lo que aún puede ofrecer el juego , además rendimiento es estable y no me han dado muchos bajones, el estilo gráficoSinceramente iba con las espectatibas muy altas y no sabía si me gustaría tanto como la precuela .     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When you first boot up the game, it doesn't really feel like a whole lot has changed from breath of the wild. It totally has. If you played breath of the wild for a hundred plus hours like I did, the more you pick your way through this version of Hyrule, the more delighted you'll be with just how much has been tweaked and altered and added and filled in in little ways. I'm only maybe 20 hours in, but I'm already wholly satisfied with the $70 I paid for my pre-order, and I don't even think I've done 2% of what's available in the game. There's more than twice the landmass there was in the original game, and all of the landmass that was there in the original is so tweaked and altered that it might as well be a completely different place. This game excels as a sequel, and as a standalones all the game. 10 out of 10.… Expand

Discovering the depths for the first time, crafting new and unique weapons and testing them in battle, discovering fun references and having a full huge multilayered world to discover has been an unforgettable epic adventure unforgettable.

    Anyways, the map is far larger, I myself have spent hours exploring the new depths, which are about the same size as the regular map, not to mention there are also sky islands. I enjoy going to these places and gathering resources that offer interesting mechanics, and fighting in unique and fun combat situations. The normal map is also completely revamped, and at times nearly unrecognizable. I really don’t understand how people are angry about the “reused” map, it’s just plain stupid. I don’t recommend just following the main story, as I had more fun doing things out of order, getting super late game stuff in the early game even was a decision I had a lot of fun with. Overall the story is simple and just kind of cool, there are more stakes this time, and it has some more in depth characters. Nothing too thought provoking or anything, but that’s not what Zelda game stories are about. I personally don’t like the zonai tech too much, but I’m sure plenty of fans will have a great time with it. People who say the durability system isn’t fixed at all are wrong. The problem wasn’t that weapons broke, but that there wasn’t enough incentive to fight when you know your weapons will break, and this game provides far more incentive with the new crafting. Overall this has been one of the most fun and epic adventures in the franchise yet, and overall already one of my favorite games. I hope you play it and just try to have fun instead of nitpick every detail about frame rate or voice acting.    … Expand

    I have not enjoyed playing a game this much in a long time. They took parts from BotW and improved on them greatly. The price tag is worth it, in my opinion, due to the sheer amount of hours that you can put into this game. The game feels familiar while also giving a new experience at the same time.

    At first I wondered if this game would feel too much like BotW. Thankfully I was proven wrong. Not only is this game a total upgrade in every way, it also feels completely separate as a game. The exploration feels more satisfying, less empty space as well as more places to explore. I'm impressed the switch pulled off such a feat. NPCs also feel more significant.

As a BotW and old Zelda fan I feel that they have addressed the problems that BotW had, while bringing back some of the old Zelda charm. I would suggest going into the game with as little outside influence as possible. Unfortunately there has been a lot of toxic back and forth over TotK. SendingObjectively, the game is well made, but I understand that open world Zelda is not for everyone. As a BotW and old Zelda fan I feel that they have addressed the problems that BotW had, while bringing back some of the old Zelda charm.     As an OG BOTW player who has spent over 300 hours on the game, I’d say Nintendo has done it again and have a created a new and yet slightly familiar world that has done nothing other than overwhelm me with the amount of new content everywhere I look. 10/10
