    I recommend to much this game for everyone who wants a very good adnveture or is a fan of the saga,although the persons that don't play any zelda can have a good experience with zelda breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom.

    So from a member from hispanic community to other persons we need to play games and appreciate all the good consoles and games i enjoy Nintendo games as much as Xbox games an Playstation games so...¡¡STOP THE HATE AND ENJOY GAMES!!!    … Expand

Donc, ce jeux que nous attendions depuis 6 ans est enfin arrivé et je n’ai que dire de la sublimité de ce jeux selon moi il est juste parfait le seul petit défaut c’est qu’il reprend un peu l’ancienne map mais très peu.     Tuvo buenos cambios en comparación con BOTW. Nuevas mecánicas y una expansión muy buena con respecto a Hyrule. Como jugador estoy muy satisfecho con la nueva experiencia de juego.

    This game is top teir, and this is coming from someone that can be a bit blunt and someone that tries to be as objective as possible. I am so impressed with what they did. I don’t quite understand the complaining in regard to using the same map, because so much of Hyrule has been changed, and that’s not even mentioning the sky and down below the world.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think this is actually one of the best games of all time, just from the gameplay alone, without the story even. But when you factor in such a nice bend of the story and gameplay, nothing can compare to this game. Spoiler Alert!

    I finished the game, and the final boss against Demon King Ganondorf felt actually challenging. He could dodge my flurry rushes! When you first see him become the Demon King, and the health at goes up, it’s intimidating, but then it KEEPS GOING and almost goes off the screen. And after the long and hard battle, he throws away everything and eats his tear to become the Demon Dragon, which turns into an epic fight on the back of the Light Dragon facing off against the Demon Dragon.

    OK, I was already a fan of BOTW, and loved the open world exploration ethic (I'm no speedrunner - I enjoy a more leisurely approach). I thought BOTW was the best game I would ever see and was worried that TotK could not improve on it.

    Well it has - and then some. In so many ways it has added to the experience. Now to be fair, for an y new users to the franchise (are there any left?)    OK, I was already a fan of BOTW, and loved the open world exploration ethic (I'm no speedrunner - I enjoy a more leisurely approach). I thought BOTW was the best game I would ever see and was worried that TotK could not improve on it.

    Well it has - and then some. In so many ways it has added to the experience. Now to be fair, for an y new users to the franchise (are there any left?) there is a pretty steep learning curve here and it would probably be fairly overwhelming to start. But after some time even newbies who enjoy exploration and story lines will grow to love this adventure.

    I can see myself playing this title many times over for years into the future. An easy 10/10 for me.    … Expand

    I have been enamoured with the latest instalment of The Legend of Zelda. I bought Breath of the Wild on release day for my brand new Nintendo Switch, which I had purchased with my student loan instead of spending money on less important things, like food. I spent many nights eating my 40-pack of Nigerian instant ramen that was supposed to last me until the next semester, questing aroundI have been enamoured with the latest instalment of The Legend of Zelda. I bought Breath of the Wild on release day for my brand new Nintendo Switch, which I had purchased with my student loan instead of spending money on less important things, like food. I spent many nights eating my 40-pack of Nigerian instant ramen that was supposed to last me until the next semester, questing around Hyrule.

    I had my problems with the game. Firstly, the weapon durability was far too punishing for the lack of weapons in the game. To compound this difficulty, it was far too convoluted to expand your inventory to ensure you always had an ace up your sleeve in the form of a powerful weapon to dispatch tough foes. Obtaining the Master Sword also alleviated this hurdle. Getting around Hyrule could sometimes be a pain without a fully upgraded stamina bar, and the rain would hinder all progress for a while as Link slid off the side of mountains. Most of all, for a place as big as Hyrule, it just felt empty.

    Tears of the Kingdom has addressed all these issues in a very unique way. The new "fuse" ability allows you to boost less powerful weapons to aid you in times of need. While I would have liked a boost in durability, knowing you can create your own lethal weapon out of something as brittle as a stick really alleviates some anxiety. "Recall" and "ascend" can help you move around the map when traditional methods are not available. But the most important change is Hyrule itself.

    Rather than just throwing a bunch of NPCs across the world, Nintendo opted to create sky islands. This reminds me very much of Skyward Sword, which is a detriment to the game, as vocal critics have been using this fact as ammunition to suggest this is a cash grab from Nintendo.

    The main difference between Skyward Sword and Tears of the Kingdom is the traversal of these islands. Tears of the Kingdom's island hopping feels a lot slower than hopping on a Loftwing and gliding to the next location. Some thought has to be put into moving from island to island. You can skydive if you believe you have the speed and stamina to make it to the next island, or you can use an Ultrahand to climb aboard a Zonai contraption to take you there. One of my favourite things about the flying contraptions you can make with the Zonai devices is how uncontrollable they are. I thought Loftwings were tricky to manoeuvre, but the knife-edge nature of the DIY vehicles really makes you think and perfect your designs. But the main attraction is The Depths...

    Going to The Depths for the first time made me reminisce about journeying down the Great Hollow for the first time and seeing an ancient, barren land. The Depths are expansive, as big as Hyrule itself. I have yet to know exactly what this place is, but this space alone fully justifies the £70 cut-and-epaste job. However, it also reveals a bigger problem.

    The Switch came out in 2017 with Breath of the Wild as a launch title. It has taken 6 years to revisit this incarnation of Hyrule. Typically, each console gets 2 original Zelda games (minus the Wii U, which we should try to forget about...), so this is theoretically the last one for the Switch. So far, a new Zelda game has been released on a 2-year cycle since 2017, so we can expect 1 or 2 GameCube remakes in the pipeline.

    The issue is that Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel, and Nintendo have outdone themselves. The Switch is struggling to run this latest instalment. The Switch is donning 2015 hardware in a 60 FPS standard world. Unfortunately for Nintendo, this game is both their magnum opus, and their most successful home console's death rattle. In order to meet this high standard they have set themselves, they will need a new console to drive Link's next chapter.

    If it takes them another 6 years to make a Zelda game, and a Zelda game is likely to be a launch title for their next console, we can expect an iteration of the Switch in 2029, with the possibility of a Switch Pro in 2024. Hey, at least we are probably getting Twilight Princess...

My only criticism is that it is not localized in Brazilian Portuguese, for me that is a lack of respect. However Evaluating the game by itself, it aggregates everything we've seen before expands everything, with new mechanics, maps and enemies. You have story, (finally !) , grown up characters, more places to discover and explore, the difficulty settings has increase a tad, the shrines makes sense, more new enemies, more side quest.
    yes you may not have your usual arsenal in BOTW, but thats what makes it a challenge.     I do not understand the harsh reviews - this game is a masterpiece and is certainly on the same tier as BOTW which already was considered one of the best games of all time. Beautiful world, amazing game mechanics, allows for so much creativity, really personable characters.     This game is so much better than many people would think. You hear the stories about how good it is, and even I was thinking it would be only similar to breath of the wild. As you continue, it just gets better throughout the entire game. This is a game that you truly cannot make a judgment on until you play it yourself.

    Amazing game. Don’t listen to the low scores from the jealous virgin losers who have nothing better to do than review bomb a great game. I would highly recommend this game to everyone. Definitely worth the $70 price tag.

It improves on almost all the gripes I had with breath of the wild… while also including a story that’s worth caring about and interacting with. It’s insane how much detail went in this game and every corner holds something new. I have yet to even get to the first main story part/dungeon/divine beast (almost 20 hrs in) and I just can’tHad this game for 3 days and I just can’t put it down. It improves on almost all the gripes I had with breath of the wild… while also including a story that’s worth caring about and interacting with.     Absolutely fantastic game.

    I went thought this was just going to glorified DLC. The final trailer gave me a but of hope. The game is anything BUT that. Its phenomenal, and I've been enjoying every second.

    The world feels so new, I'm even getting lost. Major landmarks are familiar, but that's how it is for most Zelda games. The same major areas such as the volcano, zoras domain, forest, etc.

    I have played the game for a little over 10 hours, and I am loving it! It took everything that made BotW great, and built on top of it.     Everything feels slightly faster for your convenience, even the teleportation transition and the shrines no longer prompt you with an introductory text each time. Even the "fade out" animation when you skip a skippable cutscene FEELS faster. The care put into this game is immense. And it shows.

    This one is not only going to be game of the year, but it will easily become a game to be remembered for generations to come. It puts other titles to shame with how brilliantly it implements creative mechanics, and I hope everyone can learn from its soul.    … Expand

    Le premier épisode s’est hissé à mon top 1 de mes jeux préférés de tous les temps. Cette suite me faisait peur car comment faire mieux voir aussi bien. Eh ben je ne suis pas déçu. Nintendo a une inventivité folle et le plaisir de jeu est incroyable par la richesse de son gameplay de la possibilité des approches avec un level design aux **** oignons. Un nouveau chef d’œuvre.

Solo creo que falto agregar mas sets para link y ojalá en algún momento de la saga,Es un tremendo juego. La narrativa como siempre es espectacular y solo queda mejorar la jugabilidad en el mando (saltar con x del mando switch y pegar con Y a veces te deja muy a trasmano para hacer combinaciones como correr, saltar y pegar). Lo recomiendo completamente si te gusta explorar, resolver rompecabezas y desafios grandes, ya que las armas se rompen y los monstruos van subiendo su categoría mientras mas los vayas aniquilando. Ojalá también en un futuro DLC, amplien algo mas la obtención de rupias que en esta entrega son demasiado pocas y difíciles de obtener.… Expand

    Previously, there were only 2 other games that I couldn't stop discovering, DOS2 and Elden Ring, but the feeling of playing Zelda: TOTK is still a great experience. This is my first time playing a Zelda game, I haven't even played Zelda: BOTW. I should have experienced Zelda sooner.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The time has come for a new Zelda game, and Nintendo hit it out of the park with this one. Breath of the Wild will always be the Wii U's Zelda, and now the switch has one to call it's own. I have only done one dungeon so far, (Wind Temple) and it was similar to a divine beast but it had more of the dungeon feel we were hoping for. The boss was also better than just another blight. To see how villages have changed and how people are rebuilding after the events of Breath of The Wild is pretty cool, and also how some have fallen into despair. The new abilities that replace the Shekia slate are all good, some allow you to build vehicles and weapons, one is similar to stasis, and one lets you travel upwards. The shrine system carries over, but there are less shrines than in Botw (I think)

    The story is great, and has me wanting to find more parts of it. I've been playing it constantly. My one complaint is that this game pushes the switch to it's max. I have a V2 switch and it can be a little laggy when you make a huge contraption with ultra hand. This has in no way affected how fun the game is though. And in conclusion, if you liked Breath of the Wild, you'll love this game. If you didn't like or didn't play Botw, it's probably not gonna be as fun for you. The dungeons are more traditional, but it's still a massive open world game that kinda relies on the player to know what they're doing.    … Expand

    I'm 20 hours into the game and it's amazing. Core gameplay is masterful, the story is intriguing, and the world is mysterious and beautiful. Nothing compares with this game as a single player experience (nothing, really).

    It's Breath of the wild on steroids. 2+ time as big as BotW. Abilities are off the chain. Game is so intensely fun. Very very hard to put down. By far THE best game of this year. I don't want to sleep as it's time away from playing TotK.
