Even after the end of the story that will take 50-100 hours to finish depending on your curiosity and kingdom exploration you can play a lot of hours finding all Moons. You can learn some advanced combo jump technics but it is not so necessary as you can play with or without it. Levels load time is ok. Almost no bugs in the game. The game will take only 7 MB of additional space on your device if you bought a physical copy. Well done, Nintendo! Expand

    本世代最好的马力欧游戏,画面,音乐,关卡设计都无可挑剔,就算通关之后仍然有很多内容等待探索。
    但是需要探索的月亮也过于多了点吧,有的关卡竟然达到了50几个?

This was such a fun Mario game. I beat the main story and then was rewarded with extra content to continue playing! Great game!

Si bien es un gran juego y definitivamente el mejor Mario 3D, siento que el juego tiene bastantes momentos en los que se vuelve frustrante y si no eres tan fan de los platformers puede que no lo disfrutes tanto.

This game is one of its kind Mario Odyssey takes open world games to the next level with platforming unique worlds and bosses and there is so much exploring after the main story with moons to collect in much harder difficulty those can be done with the help of cappy with many unique captures and so much more

Galaxy 1 and 2 will always be two of my favorite games of all time. But for mario odyssey to almost live up to those are extremely hard tasks!

I personally prefer the more linear Marios, but there’s no denying that this game is a modern masterpiece in every way. The animations are lively, the worlds are well designed, and Mario’s move set is a ton of fun. Great game.

This game is very good, but the thing which takes all of the enjoyment out of it are the controls. Mario's control physics are fine, don't take me wrong, but due to my drifting joycons (all of them are drifting) I can't even walk in a straight line, and playing with pro controller I am losing tons of additional movement options. Really great game, but man is it repetitive. How many times have you played this story... in this exact format? Basically I’m trying to say: don’t get this game because of the story or because of the levels or mechanics. Get this game because it’s one of the most quality time wasters you can buy right now, meaning it’s straight up fun for a while... but that’s it.

I am just lost for words. The spirit of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine lives on in this game. It was as if I stepped into a portal to my childhood.

A wonderful game through, with each area feeling different and memorable on both aesthetic and gameplay aspects.
Not much of a story, but it is as you expect from a Mario game, not plot but lots of character to every little thing.
The music in this game is a bop. Highly climatic tracks that are fun to listen to even outside of the game, but also fit their moments tremendously.

Gameplay-wise, it's the best Mario has moved thus far. Cappy (the ghost in Mario's cap) makes for a great addition to moth movement and combat, as well as introducing the possession ability that is the main draw of this particular game over other Mario titles. Each enemy/obstacle that can be possessed and controlled offers unique abilities, or funny secrets, that add a lot to the game's enjoyment.
Overall this is a must-play for the Switch, no doubt about it, it's easily a masterpiece for the Mario series as a whole.

this is the game that got me to buy a switch back in 2018, and i dont regret it. i was so excited to play i got through the story on my first night with it, and yet ive been continually coming back for more. im still yet to get all 890 moons, plus the possibilities for challenge runs and speedrunning. absolute must play, and probably the best in the mario series.

best mario game and platformer ever, from the worlds you can go to(people say its the normal mario worlds and kinda generic but idc about what people say cuz the movement are so smooth you wanna just jump swim roll and fly), the enemies , the BEST bosses , and the costumes

Super Mario Odyssey is a game that has pushed 3D Mario Back where it should be, and that place is large open world experiences, and simple linear segments combined. The settings are very unique and and the fact that this game was made for both casual players and speed-runners is so cool. The game is a bit too easy for my liking, but that shouldn't be a reason for not to play this game.

This game is a thrilling masterpiece. The moment you start the game everything is great. The movement options are absolutely wonderful. Cappy is a great addition to the game and i hope to see him again because he opens an endless amount of possibilities for the player. If i could play one game for the rest of my life, it would have to be mario odyssey. My favorite game of all time 10/10

Its a modern mario game. Even though half of the 1000 moons are easy to get, collecting them all still gives you something to do. There are even some challenging stars to get as well. If you feel you're a hardcore gamer, this is more casual, but still if you want all the moons, will give you enough game time to be worth the $60.

The best 3D Mario game ever made. Sure, Galaxy was good but Odyssey takes it to another level. I don't think I've ever had this much fun playing a Mario game since Super Mario World.

A great modern new Mario game. It's a breath of fresh air to actually get a good one since Sunshine and Galaxy were just meh. The story was decent, but who plays Mario games for the story amirite? The boss fights were fun and most of the worlds were awesome. A couple uninspired and boring ones but I can look past them. Another thing I don't like however is how many power moons feels shoehorned into this game. In Mario 64, there was always a puzzle or platforming challenge needed to obtain the star and 100% it. In this one, most of them feel like filler to stretch the game out longer than it actually is.

Other than the cons, this game does put a smile on anyone's face especially when you reach New Donk City which is my favorite part of the game. There are still lots of things to have fun in this one. If you own a switch and haven't played it then get on it!

The most underwhelming game I've played thru on Switch.
First of all, the game is painfully easy compared to other Mario titles. Easy enemies, easy bosses, and no real platforming puzzles or challenges either.
On top of that, the game worlds are tiny and uninteresting, and their visuals are WiiU level. Not one world impressed me in this game. Only fun in this game were the retro

Only fun in this game were the retro references in the 2D sections, but those sections too were way too easy.
Far cry from SM64 or Galaxy. 6/10 from me, and that's me being generous.

While it was difficult to imagine how Nintendo could top previous 3D Mario adventures, Super Mario Odyssey is nigh-on perfect in almost every way. With the help of Cappy, Mario has never been as fun to control, reaching new heights and, in the hands of a skilled player, accomplishing impossible skips. You need only pick up a controller to see why this is the best modern Mario game ever.

The best entry to the best platforming series is so ridiculously huge it’s like a theme park made of theme parks. It’s a wonderful tribute to Super Mario 64, but it’s not a lazy homage. Super Mario Odyssey draws inspiration from the superb classic to top it and everything that came after it. [13/2017, p.38]

Perhaps no past Mario game has ever elicited so many smiles as this, and even if every other winning aspect of its design were set aside, that reality alone would make it a masterpiece. [Issue #31 – January/February 2018, p. 39E]
