    So everyone loves the fact that it looks good and it's an improvement over the originals, and that's true. But nostalgia aside, the game is a total bore. The controls are absolutely terrible; Spyro dashes the wrong way when you see an enemy! Find new areas (which is not fun, but frustrating), run into or burn the same enemies in different outfits, fly a little, rinse repeat.     Slow frame rates and lagging makes it impossible to time precisely, so most levels are extremely frustrating to 100%.

    They make so much of the game like fighting boss's and chasing egg thieves that the game isn't fun. When you have to repeat the same thing over and over it's frustrating and not fun at all. Other than the graphics the game isn't all that great.

    I never played the originals, so can't compare. It looks nice but the music is rubbish, it was annoying to listen to, sounds like something I'd expect to hear from a kids tablet game. I just didn't find it fun to play either. It feels like a young child's game that is probably too hard for a young child to play. The whole experience for me feels child like. The voice acting, the graphics, the sound amd the gameplay feels like they could have been taken from 4 different games and just slapped together. I don't feel any sense of atmosphere, emotion, or fun when playing, which makes the game unlikable and therefore, unplayable.… Expand

    If you’ve not experienced the purple dragon’s adventures before, then playing them in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is absolutely the best way no matter what console you choose. Thankfully, those looking at the Switch port will be happy to know that they’ll be getting the same great experience as everyone else.

    Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the perfect Christmas gift for old school video game lover. Those whose childhood consisted of gliding around collecting coins, and those who perhaps weren’t as lucky.
