South Park The Fractured But Whole is a great RPG that not only plays great, but also recreates the unique atmosphere of the show without any flaws. The game is a blast to play on the go, but at home you'll also enjoy every second of this journey.

With plenty of hours worth of content, tons of dialogue, heaps of crude humour, and a progressively solid battle system, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is certainly a must for fans of the series, both old and new.

South Park is an excellent RPG that knows how adapt the best part of the genre to its hilarious, bold world and is full of very characteristic humour holding up a story that falls flat in certain moments. It's fun, has a fluid game system and shines in the audio and visual aspects, where there are few complaints to be made except for some load times that sometimes throw off the groove of the game.

If you’re a South Park fan, this is a no-brainer. South Park: The Fractured But Whole may not be the best RPG ever made, but it is so crazy and packed with so much fan-service that a fan can’t pass on it.

The game is a spectacular experience. It is masterfully crafted with the right amount of South Park driving it. It certainly has a few minor faults here and there, but it is built to entertain and it doesn’t falter in that area. It’s a big game with a properly built turn-based personality and it all works beautifully within its humorous South Park wrapper.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an excellent RPG with a South Park skin. If you love the crass fourth graders and their adventures as much as I do, then chances are you're going to have a great time. If you're more of a tangential fan, you'll probably still find a lot to love. But if South Park isn't your bag of tea, then the gameplay alone may not make this one worth your time.

But Whole lands on Nintendo Switch retaining all the visual fidelity with the TV series, as does with its unique humor (now with the original voiceover from the animation). A great port that only suffers in one aspect: loading times are longer and a little bit often than in other versions. We also miss that this version doesn't include all the DLC.

Even with the improved combat system the superhero spoof can’t surpass The Stick of Truth. But since Obsidian’s South Park treatment is not available on Nintendo’s Hybrid, Cartman and his friends have to settle with being the best South Park game on Switch.

The new South Park game is amazing. It's story is one step behind The Stick of Truth, but overall, the game is fun, entertaining, with a lot of things to do and with a great sense of humour. A must-have for South Park lovers in general.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an amazing game also on Nintendo Switch, despite the long loading times, and some problems in the docked mode (a bit of aliasing and fonts a little bit too small for comfort). A wonderful experience for all the South Park fans, but only if you don't have the chance to play it elsewhere.

The Fractured but Whole is a competent RPG which feels like a gigantic South Park episode with tons of fanservice, an excellent combat system and the brilliant satire we all came to love. Nintendo Switch version adds some useful touch controls but somehow loading times are now much longer.

Though there are a few very minor polish issues inherent in the Switch port, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is imbued from top to bottom with an insane level of authenticity that’s truly faithful to its irreverent source material.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an excellent RPG that adds a hefty amount of mechanical depth to improve upon The Stick of Truth. Admittedly, some of the gaming commentary is less effective if the player has experience with the previous instalment. However, there are still plenty of surprises and enough side-splitting moments to make it a must-buy for any fans of South Park, especially if seasoned gamers, too.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole still is a very fun and entertaining game. Its style remains the same on Nintendo Switch and this is the best version if you want to play wherever you want.

While it’s a fair few months behind the releases that graced other platforms in 2017, the Nintendo Switch version South Park: The Fractured But Whole isn't diminished by its later arrival. While it’s no great leap from the mechanics of the first game, it still offers both an ideal introduction for players looking to try out a turn-based RPG and a worthy addition to any genre fan's collection.

An excellent RPG and the best South Park game out yet... but not the best port due some slowdowns and minor bugs. Despite that, this one is a more than welcomed addition to Nintendo Switch game library.

The Switch version of South Park: the Fractured But Whole is a straight port. It’s a good game that will appeal to anyone who has a love of violently tolerant rednecks and children caught up in increasingly bizarre situations, but a few loading time issues stop it from being the best way to play.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is still fun to play on the Switch, but a number of technical issues prevent it from being anything more than a simple port.

Overall, it’s great to see one of my favorite franchises on the Nintendo Switch and able to play anywhere. The load times are frustrating, but if you are playing in burst sessions, it may not be that bad. If you only have a Switch and wanted to play the game, it’s totally worth it, just maybe not as a rebuy for someone that has played already.

The battle system, while relatively slow paced, was engaging and I never found myself avoiding a chance to beat up some sixth graders or cops. And while the slowdown is noticeable and certainly distracting, I only experienced it in some areas while exploring and never while engaged in combat. There are other areas that could use polishing, but putting up with the little annoyances was worth it to see the game through.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a good fit on Switch, though some noticeable technical issues highlight the sacrifices made in order to get it on the hybrid system. That said, what’s here is a great South Park adventure — one fans of the show should certainly check out if they haven’t already.

While The Stick of Truth was an okay RPG with incredibly strong South Park glue to bind it together, this sequel is the opposite: a competent and at times engaging game with the left-over bits from the tube.
