While the game is super fun solving the puzzles with a partner based on the communication and coordination, after completing all levels there's no reason to come back and play again.

Snipperclips does everything a launch title ought to do correctly, but as much as you enjoyed it you can’t overlook that a few years back this game would have come free with a console bundle.

Snipperclips is an enjoyable puzzle game, even more when you play it with some friends.

Snipperclips works best as a shared experience. When you're working with friends and you do finally complete a tough level together, the sense of accomplishment and camaraderie is palpable. Unfortunately, there's no real reason to replay levels--once you've figured out a solution, there's no incentive to try again, since there's no tangible benefit to finding out more efficient solutions. Snipperclips is indeed engaging, but it's likely something you'll only ever play through once. It isn't a Switch showstopper, but when a game is this inventive and appealing, it doesn't need to be.

If you’re looking to move beyond the most obvious of the Nintendo Switch’s launch line-up, you could do far worse than to invest in the Joy-Con and Snipperclips bundle. It captures the essence of the likes of Overcooked!, but with a clear emphasis on using shapes to solve the physics puzzles. Yes, there is a limited amount of content and that hampers the appeal somewhat, but it’s a great icebreaker at house parties.

Snipperclips may be a charming little cooperative puzzler but its lack of content and tendency to be more annoying than fun makes it a difficult game to widely recommend. If you're desperate for another Switch title then it may be worth downloading. Everyone else would be better off waiting for something more cutting-edge.

It's a little insubstantial, and rather too limp as a solo endeavour, but there's real heart to its raucous, collaborative core. If Switch's underlying ethos inspires more games like this, then there'll be no complaints here.

Actually though, it's an adorable little game that's a blast to play with friends. The puzzles are creative, and it also has a blitz mode that's a bit of fun to play. I'll be bringing this game to my friend's place every time I go.

Probably worth picking up in a sale, but close to 20 quid for about an hour to an hour and a halfs worth of entertainment isn't good value. Especially when it's pretty much got zero replayability.

Needs at least another "world" or 2.

This game is at the same time cute, funny and quite intense! It's very gratifying when you solve a puzzle! Also there is no hand holding to point out the solution which is great! Full Review »
