    I just played two hours of this game with two friends and we had a total blast! This game is at the same time cute, funny and quite intense! It's very gratifying when you solve a puzzle! Also there is no hand holding to point out the solution which is great!

    One of the most creative and fun games I've ever played. Perfect to play with your significant other...super fun teamwork game!! I think for the $20 you spend getting this game, it's very very well worth the investment.

    Este tesoro escondido en la Eshop es una verdadera joya de Nintendo, "Snipperclips" es un juego cooperativo de ingenio, ideal para conocer los Joy Con.
    Se disfruta mayormente de a dos, pero puede jugarse en forma individual. Las mecánicas son simples pero los puzzles van de fáciles a difíciles.
    "Snipperclips" es ideal para compartir con amigos, es divertido y desafiante.

    Divertidisimo y simpatiquisimo. Muy bien diseñado, hay varias maneras de resorver los puzles y a veces ayuda mucho la suerte :) Me ha encantado, hacia tiempo que no me reia tanto.

    Other than Mario Kart, this is the only game my non-gamer wife will play with me. We've had a blast. Very original and creative puzzles. It eases you in nicely, difficulty-wise.

I will say that if you want to play this single-player, it really hinders the fun the game brings. I would totally recommend this game for anyone who wants to see what you're Switch can do, has the extra funds, and plans to play this couch co-op style. Otherwise I would say only major puzzle game fans should give this a whirl.… Expand

    Fun game, fun puzzles. For the price it's a great multiplayer experience. Definitely a game to play with friends and family. Haven't finished it yet but I could see replay value with different ways to approach many of the puzzles

    Actually though, it's an adorable little game that's a blast to play with friends. The puzzles are creative, and it also has a blitz mode that's a bit of fun to play. I'll be bringing this game to my friend's place every time I go.

    My fiancé and I enjoyed playing through this, but it was all over far too quickly. Probably worth picking up in a sale, but close to 20 quid for about an hour to an hour and a halfs worth of entertainment isn't good value. Especially when it's pretty much got zero replayability.

    Needs at least another "world" or 2.

    This is an ok game for the switch. It will give you a good few hours of fun in multi-player mode. The puzzles are interesting. Don't buy this game for one player action. It is the kind of game I'll keep on my switch until better games arrive then I will delete it.

    An absolute must if you own a Switch! It's an adorable game with some of the best puzzles out there! Highly recommend this game and it's very cheap price too!

    Great little multi-player game. My only complaint is the somewhat uneven difficulty - my 7-year-old and I would trounce a number of levels and then spend 15 minutes on one. Other than that, it's a solid digital-only game.

    I play this hidden gem with my GF and we are having a total blast. It's the perfect format to introduce both the Switch and gaming in general to no gamer people. Just so much fun to solve these creative puzzles together. Love it! There is a free demo with 4 levels or so on the eshop btw.

    It has been a long time since I had so much fun with a puzzle game in whether the game is very fun and well designed to me I loved it.

    An extremely well polished game! The gameplay is hilarious and fun !This did work of rme in Single player mode but the multiplayer is it's true strength!

    Why doesnt the admin monitor the user scores because its clear people are down scoring because of some childish hate towards a product.
    This renders the user scores meaningless.
    This game is about an 8 out if ten but i feel i have to score it up because of the children on here.
    The game is a very good co op experience full of giggles so me and my wife had a great time with it.

    I love this game, my wife loves this game and all 3 of my kids love this game.
    It's different from anything else we've played and the freedom to solve the puzzle anyway you want is awesome! It's fun watching my kids solve puzzles completely different from what my wife and I did.

    Very cute and fun game that has some great puzzlers. Perfect to play with a friend and beat all of the levels. Just the right amount of difficulty to not be frustrating.

I enjoyed the expressiveness of the cute little paper characters, their giggles and blushes whenever you'd snip out little pieces of them, and some of the puzzles are fairly clever.

    It's worth it if you know for sure you'll have at least one other person to solve all the puzzles with, but controlling with only one person is incredibly tedious. It's also a shame the controls are so finicky, since only around 30% of the time you'll spend playing this game will be actual puzzle solving, whereas the other 70% is executing after you already know how to solve it.

    Still, I very much enjoyed Snipperclips, and I would check out an improved sequel should there ever be one.    … Expand

    Awesome party game. Its a shame that it gets a bit difficult quite early on because less experienced players dont want to play then but hell it would be boring if it werent challenging. I love the idea behind this one, highly recommend for everybody to check this one out.

    Publishing a 'Nindie' itself on the eShop, this stacks up well and achieves its goals - for those looking to share Switch with friends and family members of all gaming stripes, Snipperclips is an excellent option. Mode solo, it does work and is an entirely different process. You can swap between the two characters easily and the one you drop, importantly, holds their position. Buy it!

    This is the premiere party game for the Switch for sure. At only 20 dollars the game is all the way worth it. The best mode is for sure playing with just 2 players but the modes that require 3-4 players are also pretty fun. Overall Snipperclips is fun and a good challenge.

    I suppose this is my first issue with the game, but honestly it doesn't matter too much - but I always take the music and sounds into consideration.

    With many titles, you can remember the soundtrack for a game - if they're super good, they can even invoke emotion. Obviously in a puzzle game like Snipperclips that couldn't happen, but I'm just trying to give you an idea of what music in games can achieve.

    Unfortunately in Snipperclips, I literally don't remember the soundtrack at all. It sounds harsh, I know, since music isn't an aspect Snipperclips is trying to excel in, but even puzzle games can have catchy/memorable soundtracks. Snipperclips, however, just isn't one of them.

    Sound quality is fine, I do enjoy the little snip sound effects when you cut your partner up. So, that's a plus I guess.

    4/10 - Poor soundtrack, satisfactory sound. Nothing to write home about.

    B: Graphics

    This is probably the best aspect about the game - the simplistic and super cute graphics. I really enjoy the little faces that the characters make when they're cut or perform an action. Since this game is really simple, there's not many ways that they actually could have improved the graphics. I do think that the game could have benefited from having a varying amount of colours to make your character, instead of keeping it yellow and red.

    9/10 - Cute, simple graphics - no variation in the colour of the characters you play as.

    C: Gameplay

    Gameplay in Snipperclips is very simple, and anyone can understand it - this means that you can easily have a fun time playing the game with people that don't usually play games.

    Most puzzles are varied and fun to figure out, especially near the end of the game where puzzles get a little more difficult. But... that's about it.

    In total, there's less than 3 hours of content in this game from my experience. Granted, I only played this game with one other person, so I didn't really enjoy the 4-player mode. However, I feel that if 4-players is mandatory to have fun in the game, then that really limits the target audience to a small amount of people.

    The other modes like the little dojo can be fun - for about 5 minutes. Then you get bored of it, and never come back to it.

    The main mode - the multiple puzzle levels which are meant to be played with 2 people, is definitely a joy. I feel that the game should have had more difficult puzzles, as there was only one puzzle that I legitimately got stuck on for about 20 minutes before figuring out the solution. There is a very small number of levels in the game, so in a matter of two hours or so you'll be done.

    If you want to play this game alone, well, don't bother. Playing singleplayer is possible, but it's certainly not fun at all. This game is designed with the detachable joy-cons in mind, and therefore it's also designed with friends in mind.

    Overall, if this game had maybe 4x the amount of levels that it currently does, then my score would probably change from 4/10 to 7/10 because it is fun.

    3/10 - Relatively fun game with creative puzzles. Not nearly enough levels, so very little content in total. Not enough difficult puzzles.

    D: Story

    This is a puzzle game. Obviously the story won't be good. But in Snipperclips, there's literally no story whatsoever. Am I alone in thinking that your experience could have been improved by even adding a shred of story? Maybe make it so your main character lost their whole supply of cheese, and you have to go solving puzzles to get all of your cheese back - literally even a story like this is better than none at all.

    With the story being non-existent, Snipperclips feels more like an iPhone game than a (approx.) $30 Nintendo Switch game.

    0/10 - Literally no story. Understandable, but having a simple story would be a major improvement.

    I don't want to be a 'hater.' But I really don't understand why this game got such a positive reception. I understand that this isn't a triple A title with a full price tag, but even at its current price it is way too high for the amount of content that it offers.

    It's fun for an hour or two with friends, but that's pretty much it. Snipperclips is honestly one of the few games that I have a feeling of regret for purchasing. If you love the game, good for you - but for me, I just can't recommend this game at the price they're charging.

    4/10 - Not nearly enough content to justify the price tag. Puzzles are creative, but the game is overall lacking in difficult puzzles. Other modes are just fluff and won't keep your attention.    … Expand

    Snipperclips is an interesting game about a character named Snip and one called Clip. You chop each other up to do puzzles like put a ball in a hoop, make an object and get an egg from one spot to another. I like it a lot as it has 1 player option and 2 player with 3 & 4 player action as well. You will need teamwork.

    This is the best coop game that my wife and I have ever played together.

    It entertained us for about 5 hours. I hope they release more levels, but it's a good value as-is.

    It's a game I think will always have people who love puzzle games can come back to.

    While you might think this game is pretty stupid at first (like I did), It's actually pretty charming and fun for a puzzle game. Friends are recommended if your'e going to buy it, but it is easily playable single player too.

    This is a rather enjoyable game that can really highlight the ability of handing off a controller and playing co-op. This game may not have the best single player experience but it's multi-player is truly fun!

    This is an excellent group game or couple's game as it really encourages collaboration and occasional messing with each other!

    A brilliant puzzle game! Oddly similarly to Breath of the Wild, there are multiple physics-based approaches to the same puzzle, and it's hilarious finding weird, convoluted ways to clear stages with a friend.

    The most clever co-op game on the Switch! Like New Super Mario Bros, this is one of those games that leads to fun and frustrating moments with friends. My brother and I have nearly finished the 2 player mode and can't wait to get another pair of Joy-Cons to try 4-player with friends. The competitive mode is also pretty cool, but isn't really a selling point. Only gripe is- needs more levels!

    This is a great game for what it is. If you have a girlfriend or parents or little kids that don't really play video games then this is a great title to play with them. It's a simple little game that anybody can enjoy whether you're a filthy casual or a basement dwelling MLG gamer.

    Well designed and fun, this game will for sure entertain you for some few hours playing with friends. However, lifepan of this game is quite short and the 3 minigames will not do much.
    Im hoping for a DLC soon.

    Really good fun played as a two player local coop - innovative, challenging in part and a game that could be enjoyed by all ages/gaming abilities.

    Hopefully it will encourage more developers to be creative!

    A must-own game for all Switch owners. Scoring this as a 9/10 due to the difficulty of most of the 4 player puzzles, but all in all this is a fantastic party game! The concept for this game is unique and the price tag is fair. It's tough to put into words how truly satisfying it is when you complete a puzzle that you spent 10+ minutes trying to solve.

    I am sad to give this game an 8. It totally deserves 10. However, the amount of content is not that great, and that's the game greatest weakness. If it had more levels, it would have been a total blast. Right now it's a bit short(why is there no level maker?!) and replayability does not exist(once you've finished the level, you know how to finish it again), but at the same time you canI am sad to give this game an 8.     Snipperclips is a game I would definitely recommend to anyone. The game has fun and challenging puzzles solved by the creative concept of snipping. The main premise of the game is that you can cut other shapes out of your peers that can be effective in solving the puzzle.     Un juego indie muy original y con un buen precio en relación al contenido que ofrece. Si tienes alguien con quien jugarlo te lo pasarás muy bien, pero han echo un buen trabajo habilitando la opción de jugarlo en single player (aunque pierde un poco la esencia). Sin duda muy bueno

At this point there are many other co op games available for the switch, but if you want something completely unique and hilarious to play, this game is excellent. Requires a good amount of coordination and collaboration.

    The only problem I have with this game is the main mode is far too short. I beat it with my brother within two hours, with only slight difficulties. Also, the difficulty is kind of unbalanced. You can run into an extremely difficult stage but the rest of the adjacent stages are far simpler.

    Super cute co-op puzzle game! I didn't enjoy this as much as other people because I found it a little frustrating at times, but overall it was a really cool game and an enjoyable experience.

    A loveable unique puzzler. This game has a unique genius that takes advantage of the Switch's co-op capabilities make this a game almost anybody can play.

    Great co-op expierence and a lot of laugh. I wish it was longer, dlc is coming, but it's paid and together there are only 5 worlds. Very creative puzzles.

    Not a great party game. There are two things required to solve many of the puzzles: (1) figure it out (2) execute. Solving puzzles as a group was mildly fun, but executing using the fiddly characters and controls seemed more like a chore.

I know, that much could be said of most Nintendo titles–but Snipperclips fits casual players better than most, thanks to its tight focus on co-op, its reliance on continuous communication, and its slow pace. You just cannot play this game without talking with (or yelling at) your buddy all the time, and that's what made it work for me. We lostSnipperclips is the perfect family game. I know, that much could be said of most Nintendo titles–but Snipperclips fits casual players better than most, thanks to its tight focus on co-op, its reliance on continuous communication, and its slow pace. You just cannot play this game without talking with (or yelling at) your buddy all the time, and that's what made it work for me. We lost counts of the times one of us players said "OK, now rotate a bit clockwise", or "Wait, I have an idea"–until the two-player levels were over, well before we got tired of them.

    All in all, Snipperclips is one of those "software toys" that Nintendo is so good at: games that think out of the box, and end up working well for most people, including non-gamers. It isn't going to rock your world, but it's perfect when you aren't in the mood for more action-y games.    … Expand

    Great game to play with your friends. Its one of the best Nintendo Switch games I have played to this date. Very creative way to make a game. SFB Games made a masterpiece.

    It will not stop the global warming, it doesn’t cure cancer or even introduce any new trends in game design, but in almost every level it proves that Zelda is not the only must-have title on Switch. It matches the platform’s nature perfectly. [05/2017, p.70]
