Rigid Force Redux is a charming little side-scrolling shoot-em-up that separates itself from the pack with a wide array of abilities and attacks. The smooth performance and abundance of achievements are a wonderful package that you should definitely play if you love the genre.

Rigid Force Redux is a charming addition to the side-scrolling shooter genre. The journey may be over too soon, but it’s very scenic and worth it for those weapons. Strap yourself in — you’ll have a blast!

Rigid Force Redux ist ein Liebesbrief an R-Type, schlussendlich einer der schönsten.

'Generic' is the best way to describe this game. Also, 'short'. Anyone who likes this genre has seen dozens of games just like this already.'Generic' is the best way to describe this game. Also, 'short'. Anyone who likes this genre has seen dozens of games just like this already. The ability to alter your shot direction with L and R is a nice touch, but there really isn't anything else very interesting about this game at all. The level design and boss fights are very simple and uninspiring. There are also only 6 short levels to play through!!! The game is smooth and fun to play, but overall this really is very poor value for money - don't expect to play this for more than a couple of hours. And definitely don't pay full price for this game! Full Review »
