    Only play this if you’ve beaten every other RE title. The last half is a repetitive slog of platforms and bad puzzles. The partner AI often sucks. I just saw Rebecca get eaten by a giant frog while Billy stood there with a grenade launcher, watching.

    This is a remastered?? Ja !! Really?? What a joke! This game is very mediocre game at best.
    Best advice: Use a walkthrough literally, don’t waste your time. Cons: (which are a lot)
    1. Inventory: you only can carry 4-6 items. Some weapons need 2 boxes. Also you’ll have to juggle items between characters. It takes a lot of your gameplay time. Tedious! Very Bad design! Absolutely annoying! 2.    This is a remastered?? Ja !! Really?? What a joke! This game is very mediocre game at best.

    2. Loading times: take way too long (20 seconds..sometimes even 30) and happens each time you go to a new room. Doubling you’re gameplay time. Simply tiresome, boring and annoying. Couldn’t play for a long period of time. Had to put down the game. 3. The door opening/ stair/ladder sequence: very annoying each time you open door or go up a stair. It takes too long and visually is outdated 4. Character movement: very clumsy at best. Picking up items is a shore. Have to try many times .Very bad controls and mechanism. Bad design!
    5. AI: sometimes gets in the way. Can’t even get into the lifts correctly. 6. Camera angles: is a complete desastre. Sometimes you’re aiming to the wind cause you can’t see enemies. Exposing yourself to die.They’re off camera. Stupid idea of a design!!
    7. Puzzles: Are not well designed. Had to look for guide many times. Hit many invisible walls. For example,the math/code formula to stop the train was ridiculously ludicrous and. Nonsensical, illogical and irracional . How they came up with the math is baffling!! I got pretty bored running around in a clumsy and awkward environment. 8. Horror/survival formula: disappeared completely with all this annoying issues. The game became just another tiresome and shoring game. Loading times throws off the mood of the game !! I forced myself to finish it.
    9. Combat: is awfull, terrible. A mess. No auto aiming . It’s a clumsy mess. Is a joke. Targeting system is mediocre. You shoot to the air many times. Not good controls.
    10. Everything became a shore. Not fun or frightening. Just playing through automatically, not feeling anything besides annoyance. The worst thing is that this is a “remastered” version. Not a lot of effort from the devs. Don’t buy ! Buy the other RE ones!    … Expand

    Resident Evil 0 remains a good game in the series. Even with your AI partner's occasional lapses in judgment, the dynamic makes the standard formula feel fresh, while the lack of chests can be either good or bad depending on your outlook. The stunted load times ruin the mood since they occur all the time. If you don't mind that and you want to own the game in a portable form, this port isn't all that bad.

    Resident Evil Zero is one of the titles that tried experimenting with already good formulas, yet managed to get away with it and still be a great game. Not that lonely but still a strong survival horror experience, Resident Evil Zero is most probably the prettiest Resident Evil on the Switch that aged unbelievably well.

    Overall, the Switch version is an excellent port of the previous remaster with the same additional content available once you have completed the main story. There is very little to distinguish this version from the previously released HD remasters, the only difference being the portability option that the Switch console offers.
