    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is everything you should expect from a puzzle game: simple yet addictive gameplay that´s easy to pick up and hard to master. The multiplayer modes are a blast to play with friends, the story mode is a fun albeit unnecessary addition, and the online mode is hard as hell to start, but once you get the hang of the game, it becomes much easier. It has dozens of modes, makingPuyo Puyo Tetris 2 is everything you should expect from a puzzle game: simple yet addictive gameplay that´s easy to pick up and hard to master.     Its great and has many characters and sounds. sadly they won't put any more characters. They are done Updating the characters :(.

    Aside of having a better story than the original, using a better rating system and minor aesthetics improvements here and there, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a surprising downgrade from its predecessor in terms of gameplay and fluidity.

    While some people complain about it not being newbie-friendly, there are plenty of tutorial modules in the Practice Mode... even for cheesy strats that are    Aside of having a better story than the original, using a better rating system and minor aesthetics improvements here and there, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a surprising downgrade from its predecessor in terms of gameplay and fluidity.

    While some people complain about it not being newbie-friendly, there are plenty of tutorial modules in the Practice Mode... even for cheesy strats that are widely known to be bad manners in online versus play. The other problem here is that they also made the game worse for competitive play, as they slowed down the movement of the pieces compared to the previous game. This might have been an attempt to balance Puyo Puyo versus Tetris games, but it consequently boosts the power of slow and cheesy combo strategies.

    While it is still early after release and the game could be readjusted, the Tetris Company has shown very little interest in what the fans want so I have little hope for a rebalance or significant quality of life fixes. This game clearly focuses on the Puyo Puyo community and leaves the Tetris community far behind.    … Expand

But the biggest problem with this game is that it rejects newbies. There is no separate tutorial, and adventure mode becomes very difficult as you go back. The description of the new skill battle is poor. It's true that Puyo Puyo andPuyo Puyo Tetris 2 is not a bad game.     Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a very fun game indeed, it’s packed with content and has a lot to offer, but as you progress further in some modes the difficulty just makes it too hard for me to actually enjoy. The AI in Puyo Puyo mode always has some formation set for them to use to instakill me if I don’t do something fast enough, and overall the difficulty can really mask up the fun in this game.Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a very fun game indeed, it’s packed with content and has a lot to offer, but as you progress further in some modes the difficulty just makes it too hard for me to actually enjoy.     So, I came into this game as a solid Tetris 99 player and a newbie at Puyo Puyo. I got half way through story mode, at which point Tetris had been very easy and Puyo Puyo had been a good challenge but was now becoming difficult. This was somewhat expected, although I thought I might get a little farther before Puyo Puyo became so difficult. I enjoyed this first half of the game andSo, I came into this game as a solid Tetris 99 player and a newbie at Puyo Puyo. I got half way through story mode, at which point Tetris had been very easy and Puyo Puyo had been a good challenge but was now becoming difficult. This was somewhat expected, although I thought I might get a little farther before Puyo Puyo became so difficult. I enjoyed this first half of the game and decided to try out another of the various game modes I saw in the menu. So, I switched to online play for Tetris only, something I was looking forward to. Online play for Tetris does not run smooth. I may go back to finish story mode or play other game modes but I can’t go higher than this with the disappointing online Tetris.… Expand

    After Sega publish Puyo Puyo Tetris 1 which it delays for too much and has lacking of contents, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a hell nostalgic experience at all. Although the game is not perfect to arcade experience and pretty unbalanced to the last game, it has contents and more aspects that brings more hours of playing this game.     Now THIS is a game. GROUNDBREAKING graphics. INTESE gameplay. EMOTIONAL storyline. THIS is the pinnacle of video games. Can you REAAAAAALLY call yourself a GAMER if you haven't played this MASTERPIECE? This game has refined the Tetris gameplay into its final form if you will. The puyo puyo parts are mid, but because Tetris is such a spectacular, earth shattering, genre defining experienceNow THIS is a game. GROUNDBREAKING graphics. INTESE gameplay. EMOTIONAL storyline.
