Puyo Puyo Champions is a near perfect for hardcore puzzle game enthusiasts, but casuals may want to start elsewhere.

Puyo Puyo Champions ably covers the essentials of the series at a great price point. The inclusion of the Fever ruleset provides something of interest for veteran players and the most enthusiastic of new fans created by Puyo Puyo Tetris, and should be at least considered for any party game library. However, the lack of other single or multiplayer modes or a real tutorial make this less of a definitive entry-point or second helping for newly created casual fans than it perhaps could be.

Puyo Puyo Champions is very fun. Its modes offer hours of entertainment, especially with its online mode, although playing alone is less fun. A game that complements its objectives and stands out in the Switch catalog.

Puyo Puyo is a puzzle game you pick up for just five minutes, but before you know it you are playing for hours straight. The classic version of this game is amazing, which is good, cause there aren't too many modes to choose from.

Don“t expect any flashy new features, but it works OK at providing straightforward fun with competitive puzzling.

Un juego muy bueno para jugarlo en solitario, y grandioso para jugarlo con un amigo y/o rival en modo en linea.

Good portable game and worth the $5 I spent to get the nostalgia out. The real joy I get out of this game is its infinite mode where once you defeat a competitor a new one jumps in. Otherwise, playing one match and getting kicked out to the title screen is hardly enjoyable, unless you only have 2 - 3 minutes of time. Still better than Mean Bean Machine. Full Review »
