    Double the trash game for double the price. These games are an embarrassment to Nintendo and all of gaming.
    Riddled with awful visual glitches, pop ins, framerate drops, low res textures, low poly models even well within the full poly range. Terrible game. A rating of 7 or higher is a lie and a bad joke.

    another disappointing pokemon game. these games are being rushed out way too fast. their bare bones, dumbed down, and don't even function properly. gamefreak learned nothing from the SWSH controversy.

Esse jogo e um desastre, os gráficos são extremamente abaixo da média, mesmo para o Switch, muitas texturas eram claramente puxadas, e sem relevo, as árvores pareciam serem de plástico, e quando eu olhava para o chão e para um arbusto ao lado percebia uma diferença anormal nos gráficos, o jogo também sofre com queda de FPS constante, onde uma hora o jogo está leve, e outra quase não roda direito, objetos pessoas e pokémons muitas vezes ficavam invisíveis, coisas desapareciam e apareciam de novo no mapa, e certos efeitos durante a batalha surgiam do nada no meu Pokémon, as vezes o inimigo ficava travando no próprio pokémon, e as vezes meu Pokémon caia do mapa, tive que reseta o jogo algumas vezes por que eu simplesmente caia do mapa e tudo começava a ficar distorcido e bugado, e o FPS ficava travado no 1, a montaria também desaparecia e ficava invisível, e o pior, enquanto eu jogava meu jogo caiu, e quando eu voltei, perdi meu Save por completo, o que me fez desistir do jogo, além das novas "Evoluções" que não são nada criativas, além de toscas, onde os pokémons ficam com aspecto cristalizado e com um objeto na cabeça, sinceramente não gostei nada dessas Evoluções… Expand

    The best thing about this game is the steelbook, which is also the only thing that works as intended.

    Even though i didn't pay for it because i got it from a giveaway, i still want my money back .....

    This is basically to talk about the game that has two versions as a whole since you do encounter different Pokémon, and wear different uniforms; but they play the same.

    The open world and large items list are the positives. I would love to see those in the Kanto-, Jouto, Houen, and Shin'ou Pokémon games.     The open world and large items list are the positives. I would love to see those in the Kanto-, Jouto, Houen, and Shin'ou Pokémon games. The adventuring freedom like being able to challenge different gyms is fun as you are not blocked away from paths. The auto battling makes leveling up quick when you have better type matchups. You are able to buy type-boosting items and Mints with either money and League Points you have from beating trainers and getting Pokémon. You can also craft TMs.

    The physics are the negatives. Everything flickers, you tend to teleport to far spots when you send your Pokémon out to battle, and you can get stuck on some land when riding. The Abilities never work outside of battles. Synchro no longer changes any wild Pokémon's Nature. That is taking away the variety of getting Pokémon that I often find myself reseting the game to look for a different Pokémon with the Nature I want. It is frustrating when you got a Synchro Ralts with any neutral Nature from the first area. It used to work in the past games since Emerald and even in Generation 8. It is as if SV were made around Legends: Arceus where that action RPG does not have Abilities, and even that was annoying. The character customization seems nice, but the problem is that TPC has a problem with separating the options by sex where the boys have the same hairstyle option as the female's, and can wear lipstick where even if the idea is based on kabuki actors, it is still pointless and weird. The character designs are doll-like like in New Pokémon Snap, and are just kind of creepy when seeing the bumps on the cheeks and depth around the eyes. Pokémon is supposed to be like an anime. It is not like we are expecting Grand Theft Auto graphics or whatever. Cel anime graphics like in the Nexomon and Gal Gun games should have been used to allow potential for much added content, fixed glitches, and smoother gameplay. Nexomon, Gal Gun, and even the Xenoblade games played fine on the Nintendo Switch.

    People say that the Pokémon games should have went back to being 2D games. You can make video games like an anime, and they will sell if you can get the gameplay, physics, and graphics right. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX looks like the Generation 6 games for the 3DS in HD, and looks great and possibly play great too where even if the graphics are "bad", you do not see pop ins and outs nor get stuck in levels. I feel like I am better off with playing ports of old Pokémon games. Code Mystics and Inti Creates might make Pokémon games better without TPC rushing Game Freak, and be better than ILCA.    … Expand

    The game had a lot of bugs, the frame count was too low, the light was cheap and physically uncomfortable, and the special effects were rudimentary. The overall performance of the game was not as good as that of the NGC game, giving the impression that it was a game that had not been done and tested before it was released. And that quality costs $60. Is that a joke?

    Being a fan of Pokémon since the beginning. Love so much the mons and the game mechanics, have played almost every recent game on Switch (except for SwSh). Honestly Scarlet and Violet is embarrassing. Lag, terrible and even scary bugs - guess I don't need to keep going on.

    This is a scam, plain and simple.
    It's the exact same game, sold twice with 2 lines of code differing between them.

    Either cough-up for Switch Online, or cough up for the second game; Heck, even microtransactions are less scummy than this.

    So, as I did with Sword/Shield, this also gets a 1/10.

Lets disregard the fact that the brand is Pokemon...the game itself is extremely simple, from the battle system to the dialog to the art, everything. Honestly when I saw motorcyclemon and found out his wheels don't spin, why did they make the pokemon look like a generic motorcycle? This type of designI won't even discuss the bugs here as part of my review since everyone else already did. Lets disregard the fact that the brand is Pokemon...the game itself is extremely simple, from the battle system to the dialog to the art, everything.     Too many glitches. It was enjoyable, but the glitches made the experience very unplayable.
