It’s one of those games that after you complete it, you can still return and experience it over and over, without it ever getting dull or feeling a shortage of brilliance.

You’re not directly given much in the way of direction to start, but with a basic understanding of how a typical action-adventure works and some experimentation you’ll quickly get up to speed. Aside from the controls perhaps being a little on the loose side, lacking a crispness you’d absolutely want and need if the action were a bit more demanding, it’s a pretty carefree affair and simply thoroughly pleasant. Alas, the rub is that I’d also say that in a crowded eShop there’s not much that makes it truly memorable, as it lacks the beating heart of a great story or the adrenaline rush of action that would help it make a greater lasting impression. That said, for a relatively short, sometimes visually stunning, and enjoyable romp, it provides a solid value for the price of admission.
