Omno is an atmospheric, adventure puzzle game that certainly gives similar games in its genre a run for their money. It’s Charming, vibrant and with stunning design. The story lacks slightly, and would benefit from more direction, however gameplay is diverse with many ways to play. If you love games like Journey, it will be hard not to fall in love with Omno.

Take it from someone who doesn't usually enjoy unchallenging laidback adventures; OMNO is undoubtedly a wonderful experience. From its stylish visuals to its consistently rewarding collectibles and sense of progression, it really is the cat's pajamas.

Like a crossword puzzle completed on a Sunday afternoon, Omno challenges you in a relaxed and soothing way, and when you manage to overcome its obstacles, it leaves you with a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. If you’re looking for a simple but satisfying puzzle experience, look no further – Omno is here.

OMNO is a game worth experiencing despite its minor faults, especially as it’s a great testament to what can be created by a single person. There’s no need for a complicated storyline, just simple puzzles and platforming to create a satisfying experience. The gratification comes from working things out on your own and making your own way to the Gate of Light through a journey that never become too difficult or frustrating.

If you have any interest in puzzle-platformers, don't let Omno pass you by. It's one of the most heartwarming adventures you can experience on PlayStation 4 with a level of charm seldom found in the medium.

Omno clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the all-time great that is Journey, and often feels very similar in terms of gameplay pacing and overall tone. Omno never quite reaches the same emotional highs as Journey, but in some ways, it does actually build upon its predecessor's groundwork, offering more opportunities for exploration and player freedom. Even if you're just mulling around an area, interacting with strange creatures and soaking up the vibes, there's a lot to like about this lovingly crafted title.

You play a mysterious character that evolves in a rich and detailed landscape full of amazing creatures. If you like games such as Journey, Flower, Abzû, or RiME, that will be your type of game. Some people may complain that game is a bit short (4hrs) for the price; think about the fact this is a solo game dev and only one guy did that. Just for that, it is worth the price to see what he did, very impressive! Expand

Short and sweet. Simple puzzles. Nice music. Spiritual successor to games like Journey/ABZU, Entwined, Grow Home, Spirit of the North, TheShort and sweet. Simple puzzles. Nice music. Spiritual successor to games like Journey/ABZU, Entwined, Grow Home, Spirit of the North, The Last Tree. In short, easy puzzle games without enemies, where the only thing that can “kill” you is yourself.

If you want a game with the same visuals but with real challenges, play Tunic or Death’s Door.

If you want a game like this one but with a storyline and enemies, and closer to Zelda, play Kena: Bridge of Spirits or Rime.

If you just like games with ambience music, check out the soundtrack and skip the game. This is meant to be a passive experience, after all. Just “cozy” gaming before cozy gaming became a thing.

Game could’ve been harder in terms of puzzles, but that may take away from how child-friendly it is, especially cause there’s zero violence.

Way too unprecise controls for a platformer. Some puzzles and jumping sections have a very short time limit to get around. Very frustrating.
