Better call it Oddworld New and Nasty! Bad game! Don’t be fooled by its looks.
Horrible controls , specially the Jumps (they have intentionally delay) , level design is bad , everything is made for you to fail. Character is annoying as hell, it’s Jar Jar Bings twin brother in everything: dumb, clumsy, stupid , awkward and annoying . Sounds are very annoying. Fun factor is gone after the

Character is annoying as hell, it’s Jar Jar Bings twin brother in everything: dumb, clumsy, stupid , awkward and annoying . Sounds are very annoying. Fun factor is gone after the first hour, because of the controls and level design. Controls are the Big Boss throughout all the game (one of the worst controls ever). The ending is one of the worst in gaming history: sad and disappointing. Don’t buy this junk! So much punishment for nothing!! Please, don’t buy , don’t play!!

Not all the fans may think New ‘n’ Tasty is a faithful representation of the original, but for the newcomers - it sure is a good starting point. While waiting for the Soulstorm, it's a great opportunity to play the Switch port of the 6 years old remake of the 23 years old game - on the go.

For newcomers to the Oddworld series, New ’n’ Tasty is a good place to start and the anti–capitalism and anti–consumerism messages in Oddysee still feel (sadly) as fresh and important as they did back then. However, there’s no real reason to grab the Switch version if one already owns any of the others. It’s still tasty enough, but a little short on the new.

Overall, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a good game. That said, it hasn’t made me as interested in its sequels (that I’ve yet to play) as I thought it would. If anything, it makes me long for the original with its, if not timeless, nostalgic visuals. But the accessibility tweaks make this entry useful for new players who’ve yet to experience it.
