The controls are incredibly simple, with only the use of left and right inputs being needed to roll the titular Octogeddon around. While initially it might seem limiting, complexity is quickly layered onto the experience in the form of unique enemy types and collectible DNA items, which imbue Octogeddon with a multitude of different arm attachments. Experimenting and finding the right arm attachment is a lot of fun, and gives the game a fair amount of strategy. The music is catchy and intense, while the visuals are simple but expressive. There's a decent amount of content on offer, with the main game mode taking over 5 hours, and a few bonuses being added after it's completion. I derived a great deal of enjoyment from this title, it reminded me of my fond memories playing the simplistic yet immensely fun games of PopCap's glory days. All in all it's a charming and wonderful game that I'd recommend to just about everyone. Expand
