Seems like a fun game, but its bugged at least on switch. After a couple plays save gets corrupted and black screens. Deleting save or using another profile works, but unable to progress. Response from devs is similar to game unable to progress.

I wish I could say this game is great, because parts of it are. But then the game itself deletes all my save data, and locks my account out of the game, forcing me to manually delete the save data myself. Deleting the software, restarting the console, and "checking for corrupted data" does nothing.
Doesn't really justify any dollar amount. And since this has happened to other people, I

Doesn't really justify any dollar amount. And since this has happened to other people, I really hope that a patch is made soon, but I have a feeling I just wasted a decent amount of time on a flawed game, ported too early. I wouldn't have grinded this game for extra cards if I knew the game had even just a possibility of deleting my progress for the fun of it. Please fix your game. This game is apparently 6 years old, yet you don't know how to work save data?

For a day or two this game was pretty cool. So much of this game just works well together. The gameplay, the art, the music. It's a shame to see all this effort, and talent wasted on a game that can, for literally NO discernible reason, lose all your progress. And when unlock's are based on random event's, and tedious repetition, it's just an even bigger kick in the nuts. You'd think spontaneous data corruption would be higher up on the list of patches but, idk.
I'd rather have spent my time playing solitaire.

This game has cool art. Interesting premise. And simple game play. The main problem is the artificial 'difficulty'.

The AI opponent will be dealt and play the BEST cards every turn, every occasion, bar-none. This game is impossible. It is NOT a "git-gud" situation. The AI just gets all the best cards it possibly can in the situation from turn to turn. Now you can beat the AI, they have

This game is impossible. It is NOT a "git-gud" situation. The AI just gets all the best cards it possibly can in the situation from turn to turn. Now you can beat the AI, they have far less health, But they will absolutely inflict damage and casualties on you. And you will spiral quickly into destruction. This game is stupid. AVOID

Game is unplayable on the Switch. Save file always seems to get corrupted after a few hours of play and game won't load. The fix, according to the developers themselves, is to delete the save file and start over. Now ask yourself, what's the point of a card collector game that forces you to start over and lose all your cards repeatedly.

Game is decent but as others have said: game gets corrupt saves so you are unable to progress. I believed the comment that stated the problems were fixed, but they are not. Even now in 2023.
    I shouldn't have bought it.

Surviving Nowhere Prophet's grueling world offers laidback gameplay but that is unfortunately undercut with some frustrating moments.

Far from being yet another deckbuilder, Nowhere Prophet cleverly innovates on established gameplay elements to produce a heartily challenging and compelling card game worthy of standing alongside the best of the genre.

The gameplay is tightly-constructed, the narrative elements add a layer not often seen in deckbuilders, and both halves are wrapped in a fantastic, semi-abstract art style that recalls elements of cyberpunk, collapsed civilizations and Indian theming with bright strokes, chunky colors and bold lines. Visually, conceptually, and in its gameplay, Nowhere Prophet is gorgeous.
