Working with a clearly limited budget, Tamsoft has focused on delivering a tight action-combat system, while also relying on the fan service of both Senran Kagura and Hyperdimension Neptunia to see it through. It’s a good couple of hours of genuine fun, with the requisite bath scenes, humour and familiar characters to meet and fight. You can’t help but think that both properties could have grown to become more than this, but taking as it is, it’s still entertaining nonsense, with a heavy emphasis on the “entertaining”. I play enough serious games that require deep analysis, this kind of thing is my ideal break time between them.

Disappointing amount of fanservice. No transformations, no clothing break, and slower-paced than other Senran Kagura games.

Years of not receiving a game for Nintendo, and seeing how it was censored on the Playstation. A new installment has finally arrived, even if it is a crossover for the hybrid console.

Although the game does not support the graphic capacity that the PS4 supports, it came out decently and playable for the Switch. Although there are parts that you have to wait a long time, although you can skip parts, but it doesn't make sense if you want to follow the story.

I recommend the game better on the Switch than on the PS4 by far and for all the bad things Sony did with this beautiful franchise. Although if you want graphic quality and things that the Switch has (uncensored), then wait for it on the PC. Now, about Playstation for the damage it did to the Senran Kagura saga, neither forgetting nor forgiveness.

Never played a Neptunia title, but have finished a few Senran Kagura games. This had a ridiculous story which didn't take itself seriously and had some funny dialogue. The action parts were basic but generally a lot of fun - I enjoyed them more than the basic Senran Kagura experience tbh. I liked the tag team mechanic. Fanservice was never too extreme or intrusive. Recommended if you're into weirder titles. Full Review »
