4 years passed without a new installment of a Senran Kagura for the Nintendo Switch and 7 years without a game of the hack and slash genre, the last being Deep Crimson. Years of not receiving a game for Nintendo, and seeing how it was censored on the Playstation. A new installment has finally arrived, even if it is a crossover for the hybrid console.

Years of not receiving a game for Nintendo, and seeing how it was censored on the Playstation. A new installment has finally arrived, even if it is a crossover for the hybrid console.

Although the game does not support the graphic capacity that the PS4 supports, it came out decently and playable for the Switch. Although there are parts that you have to wait a long time, although you can skip parts, but it doesn't make sense if you want to follow the story.

I recommend the game better on the Switch than on the PS4 by far and for all the bad things Sony did with this beautiful franchise. Although if you want graphic quality and things that the Switch has (uncensored), then wait for it on the PC. Now, about Playstation for the damage it did to the Senran Kagura saga, neither forgetting nor forgiveness.

Disappointing amount of fanservice. No transformations, no clothing break, and slower-paced than other Senran Kagura games.

An endearingly fun, slightly janky game. Never played a Neptunia title, but have finished a few Senran Kagura games. This had a ridiculous story which didn't take itself seriously and had some funny dialogue. The action parts were basic but generally a lot of fun - I enjoyed them more than the basic Senran Kagura experience tbh. I liked the tag team mechanic. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars looks ambitious and indeed sets high expectations under the form of a platforming hack and slash that looks good and can rightfully boast about its comical dialogues. Where Ninja Wars falls short though is in fulfilling all its ambition, and the game's disappointing lifespan and feeling of repetitiveness make this an effort that could have gone much further but which doesn't achieve what its expectations set out.

Paradoxically, Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is both too long and too short. The ingredients are there to make a surprisingly awesome game, such as a type of sphere grid, tons of different moves and equipment. However, in reality it is largely a button masher that needs far too much grind which artificially inflates the length. Overall, it was surprising how good it actually was, and there is hope they make a second one.

Neptunia x SENRAN KAGURA: Ninja Wars is a good action RPG, but it has a slow pace and dated mechanics. Maybe it's a good game for those who don't know the two franchises, but not for those who have played the previous ones.
