    Metroid Prime is absolutely GOAT. This game is exactly what I wanted it to be. This remaster is how remasters should be made. It was a classic back then and it is still a classic now.

    This is a top 10 game of all time and has been remastered beyond what I thought was possible on the Switch. So happy I can play it on a modern console with dual stick controls!

    I don’t get the hype. Never played the original game. Maybe that’s why. After finishing it I felt like I ran every single corridor 500 times. Map is super confusing. Menus are archaic. Enemies are annoying at the end, appearing again and again, at the end I just ran by them all the time. Nice sound. Nice textures.

    Aun que se llame remaster, esta mucho mas cerca de un remake que de un remaster, reviviendo esta grandísima aventura de Gamecube, en la piel de Samus, con esa jugabilidad que a tantos nos enamoró en su momento, que parece que fue ayer pero recordemos que es un juego de hace 21 años. Increíble revivir esto, de esta forma tan genial, a 60Fps, y con un juego que es top grafico dentro de loAun que se llame remaster, esta mucho mas cerca de un remake que de un remaster, reviviendo esta grandísima aventura de Gamecube, en la piel de Samus, con esa jugabilidad que a tantos nos enamoró en su momento, que parece que fue ayer pero recordemos que es un juego de hace 21 años. Increíble revivir esto, de esta forma tan genial, a 60Fps, y con un juego que es top grafico dentro de lo que es Switch y además a un precio de 40€, que para ser un juego de lanzamiento sin previo aviso está más que bien. 10/10 .     Ignore the bad reviews. Game runs absolutely perfect, 60 fps, full hd. They made a masterpiece even better.

    A rare remaster that improves upon the original while retaining everything that made the original so special. It’s almost as if this remaster is the game Retro Studios would’ve made if the technology available now was available then. My only complaint is the same complaint I had back in 2002, the game is a little short. An experienced player will easily pass it in 8 to 10 hours.     Es la primera vez que pruebo esta franquicia y solo puedo decir que es un trabajo impresionante, Si eres nuevo en la franquicia como yo no dudes en adquirirlo no te arrepentirás y a un precio fenomenal.

    O jogo vai além de uma simples remasterização. Teve toda geometria, ambiente oclusion e áudio refeitos entregando uma experiência que já era boa lá no GC/WII. A experiência em jogar no Switch está muito satisfatório. É bom ver o tratamento que a Nintendo ven dado a Metroid. O jogo segue lindo e com uma jogabilidade aprimorada. Recomendo demais, Prime é uma obra prima, uma pérola no mundoO jogo vai além de uma simples remasterização.     The fact that they included updated modern controls, the original gamecube tank controls, and the wii motion controls from the trilogy remake.

    One of the best games of all time just made better and accessible for younger audiences to play this masterpiece. I only hope MP2 and MP3 come after. Even Hunters.

    I cant believe my eyes! This was an AAA game 20 years ago and still has the same atmosphere and quality. One of the best games ever made. It's that good. Awesome.

    Metroid prime Remastered has a beautiful graphics on switch, an amazing game from gamecube, but, nothing is new in this remastered version, its just a re-work

    Metroid Prime is already one of the best games of all time and they managed to upgrade all textures or redo all of them from scratch and it looks so beautiful. They also have added so many accessibility and control options that capsulates the modern feeling too. The price being 40$ instead of 60$ is just beautiful.
    Original metroid prime was 97 this game deserves even higher!!!

This is probably the absolute best-looking game on the Switch so far--it's hard to believe it can run at a consistent 60 frames with the hardware it's on, and even harder to believe such a high-quality rework isn't priced at a full 60 dollars. The unbeatable atmosphere and attention to detail the original game is known for is onlyA nigh-perfect remaster to a nigh-perfect classic title. This is probably the absolute best-looking game on the Switch so far--it's hard to believe it can run at a consistent 60 frames with the hardware it's on, and even harder to believe such a high-quality rework isn't priced at a full 60 dollars. The unbeatable atmosphere and attention to detail the original game is known for is only amplified here. There are plenty of control schemes to choose from in this version, including a modern dual-stick FPS-style layout and the (admittedly clunky) original GameCube layout. Prime's only real flaw is probably the pointless and tedious collect-a-thon crammed into the end of the game, which is unfortunately still present here. The only gripes I have regarding the rework itself would be that it's a little too cartoonish for my taste in some areas (like the smoothed-out text font) and that the removal of the traveling light emissions from beam weapons does hurt immersion a little bit compared to the original version.… Expand

    This is such a gem of a game and my favorite on gamecube this is a great turning point for the Metroid fandom as this will surely bring newcomers to the series

    This games brings back so many memories from 2002. Retro Studio really did an amazing job remaking the game with beautiful graphics & a few tweak to improve the accessibility. This is now hands down the best way to play Metroid Prime.

    10/10, the original was/is one of favourite games of all time and this remaster/remake is shaping up to become the same, I've been into video games since I could hold a joystick (spectrum kid here!) And I've seen some classics come and go and this is definitely a classic, I'd have preferred to seen it remade with 4k resolution and textures on something like the Xbox Series X but what retro10/10, the original was/is one of favourite games of all time and this remaster/remake is shaping up to become the same, I've been into video games since I could hold a joystick (spectrum kid here!)     It is indeed Metroid Prime. probably the only game series to get metroidvanias rights in the 3D space. Metroidvanias are not for everyone, but if that is what you are looking for you will find it here! Play this game if you want to feel truly alone in a hostile environment, and slowly but surely become the master of that environment before leaving. The game lets you play with the new control scheme, a scheme similar to the Wii's, and the original GameCube control scheme. Either way, Prime is simply a masterpiece, and even better it's emulated at 4k 60 fps!! If you never got the chance to play this incredible game on the Gamecube, and you own a Switch, you can't go wrong with the $40 price tag considering how overinflated Nintendo'sMan, it's hard to say which Metroid is my favorite of all time between Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Dread.     Played the original Version on the GameCube and I can definitely say, that this is a masterful Remake. They put in so much care in updating design and graphics without destroying the atmosphere of the original game. It’s really surprising, how well this game holds up so many years later.     I never liked FPS games or first person games in general. That game was the major exception, it's so perfect! It's sequels weren't quite as perfect as this one. And out of nowehere they shadowdropped a practically remade version of a already perfect game improving everything possible making this game way more beyond perfect. Just buy it.     Game makers: take note. Metroid Prime Remastered is a masterclass in how to modernize a masterpiece. Twenty years after the series made the transition to 3D, this remains a classic that has stood the test of time. The updated visuals prove that with some optimization and visual tricks, the Switch is really capable of delivering great games. In fact, this is one of prettier – if not the prettiest –Switch games to date.

    A classic returns in Metroid Prime Remastered. A complete visual overhaul makes the world of the game look better and more detailed than ever before. A new dual-stick control scheme makes the game approachable and palatable for new players, while veterans can opt for controls that mimic the original. Underneath it all, though, the masterpiece that is Metroid Prime Remains unchanged. Some more quality of life improvements could perhaps have been made, but it is a tiny complaint for a near-perfect remaster.
