    - истории нет от слова совсем;
    - главный герой просто 0, никто и нигде (немая Самус молчит всю дорогу, абсолютно не повествуя игру);
    - возрождение противников на пройденных локах, а возвращаться нужно и это бесит
    - бектрекинг тебя постоянно долбят, вернись обратно, и не раз;
    - шутерная механика, просто никакая, игрна не создавалась изначально мастерами шутерного дела, а студией казуальщиков которым от силы 2д или карточные мобильные помойки варить
    - баланс оставили прежним, затянутые и однотипные локации в которых приходится по долгу убивать однотипных врагов
    - ценник, просить те же деньги за игру 20-ти летней давности, просто свинство.

    Remastered graphics and controls are great. The game is meh with the wandering aimlessly and needing to back track constantly with long slogs, especially to go save. FPS platforming is an awful experience. Nostalgia feels like essential driver for its high ratings. There is a reason the prime series was dead.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Metroid Prime Remastered is perhaps my least favourite game out of the trilogy, and I realized that while playing the remaster. It's still a fantastic game imo, but it's just not as enjoyable to me as the other two. Here are a few reasons why:

    The early game of Metroid Prime is fantastic. Up until you find the wave beam I think the game is a blast. Starting there however, it strats to dip in quality a little bit. Changing between beams is not intuitive at all. You have to hold the X button and then use the directional buttons. Not only is that bad, but it also takes a little bit too long to switch beams, I wish it were more snappy. But right afterwards comes the, imo, worst section of the game - the Phendrana Labs. I really don't like this section, both because it's extremely repetitive, with several identical rooms, but also because it's the first and mostly only location in the game that forces you to use the thermal visor for long periods of time. The thermal visor makes me feel sick tbh. I just don't iike to use it. Every time I taverse this section I just want it to end as soon as possible.

    Another thing I dislike about this game are the endgame multi-coloured enemies. Starting with the Phazon Mines, you will find troopers and later Metroids that are only vulnerable to a certain beam. This annoys me because, like I mentioned earlier, it's a slog to change beams, but also because some beams are worse than others. Once you get the plasma beam, the final beam in the game, you won't want to use any other beams, because it's the best one. By that point in the game, the power beam especially is really obsolete, and you will feel very powerless when facing these enemies with the power beam. The ice beam is strong, but it's the slowest one in the game and it's also not the best solution, and the wave beam is also lackluster at that point.

    This problem segways into another problem I have with the Metroid series as a whole, with Metroid Prime probably being the game where that is most noticeable - there is no need to fight.
    Enemies don't give you anything other than health drops or missile drops. But you only need health and missiles to fight, so why fight in the first place? If it's fun then it's ok, but when it's not fun it becomes a slog. If there was an experience system or equipment system similar to Castlevania or other metroidvanias, I would find an excuse for combat, but as it is there is none, so I find myself fleeing from most encounters towards the end of the game.

    The final problem I have with the game is that some boss battles are just poorly designed. The hive totem is boring, the Omega Pirate is really annoying if you don't know what you're doing. It regenerates health, blocks your projectiles and turns invisible. On top of that, it spawns those pesky multi-coloured troopers, that I find myself just ignoring during this fight. Ridley is also not the best since he spends way too much time in the air, I feel like I'm facing Rathalos in the first two gens of MH. And the Metroid Prime is similar to the Omega Pirate.

    At the end of the day, even though I complained heavily about this game, I still think it's great. I'm giving it an 8 because most of my complaints are just nitpicks, but the game definitely has some issues that prevent it from becoming a masterpiece.

    Although the game has updated controls and this is for sure the best way to play Metroid Prime, I feel like the game is not perfect, but still really good

    The great thing about true video game showstoppers is that even if they have flaws, they're so amazing you really don't care enough to write about them. I'm so happy to be playing Metroid Prime again, and I'm thrilled to find that it stuns and amazes just as well as it did in 2002. Here's hoping it becomes the Metroid series' viral breakthrough.

All the lazy developers did was re-texture/upscale the game and called it a day. All these outdated mechanics makes me want to snap my Switch in half.

    There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the campaign, there is literally not a reason to play this game again. Charging $40 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. I'm shocked greedy Nintendo didn't charge $60 for this remaster. They are the same company that had Diamond and Pearl remake for an outrageous price of $120. Even when Nintendo tries to be generous, they're still greedy and lazy. I don't recommend this game at all, unless you want to support laziness.

The raindrops are falling back when you hold your weapon up and they are falling in front, when you hold your weapon down. The lava is pulsing and when you are come close to it, you can now see a strong heat haze, which was not be in the original. So you can now visually feel the heat in this region,

    Sound is great as it was on original release and manages to create a deep, immersive experience, which fits the environment perfectly.

    The different control options are awesome and the new "modern" twin-stick FPS-Controls works great, however there is one little complain I have. The switch between the beams is a bit annoying and has not the same flow like the original classic control scheme.

    in my opinion the classic control is the perfect way to play it even today, because this game was originally designed with this control scheme in mind. Sure it is different from modern standards, but you can get used to it quickly and this is exactly the reason, the tutorial level at the beginning was designed for.

    However, one advantage of the modern control is, that you have a quicker movement, which makes the situations where you have to backtrack not feeling that much of an issue, than it was before.

    The level design is simply perfect and even the points where you have to backtrack are filled with power ups as a reward, so it never gets annoying.

    In my eyes this game can positively stand out even today, because of its originality. There is no other game like it, even the two sequels are way different compared to Metroid Prime.

    Last but not least is Metroid Prime Remastered a Remaster of an all-time classic as it should be. A Remaster like this should be the standard and not the exception.

    For these reasons it still get a 10 out 10 from my perspective.

It feels like they did a solid job capturing the exploration of Super Metroid in the 3D world. The entire game feels like a puzzle because there is minimal guidance on where to go, similar to Super Metroid. This is ultimately a really great feature of the game because if you pay attention as you are playing, it’s very rewarding solving the puzzles as you go without looking anything up. The atmosphere is a little weak, it’s made up through some pretty uninspired world building done by scanning objects. The soundtrack is ambient which really makes for a passive experience. For some reason I feel like the sound design in Super Metroid was vastly more memorable - that’s not to say this game doesn’t have good music, but they have a lot of ambient filler tracks. I feel like this game misses a lot of the charm of Nintendo games, but it makes up for it in the gameplay. The core enjoyment of the game is really around the exploration and natural feeling of accomplishment of figuring out where to go. The game is an excellent remaster. It looks fantastic on the Switch. Nintendo did a great job with this release, and I believe they priced it perfectly. Game makers: take note. Metroid Prime Remastered is a masterclass in how to modernize a masterpiece. Twenty years after the series made the transition to 3D, this remains a classic that has stood the test of time. The updated visuals prove that with some optimization and visual tricks, the Switch is really capable of delivering great games. In fact, this is one of prettier – if not the prettiest –Switch games to date.

    A classic returns in Metroid Prime Remastered. A complete visual overhaul makes the world of the game look better and more detailed than ever before. A new dual-stick control scheme makes the game approachable and palatable for new players, while veterans can opt for controls that mimic the original. Underneath it all, though, the masterpiece that is Metroid Prime Remains unchanged. Some more quality of life improvements could perhaps have been made, but it is a tiny complaint for a near-perfect remaster.
