Nintendo Force MagazineSep 5, 2018Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is worth picking up, but it pales in comparison to its predecessor. [Issue #34 – July/August 2018, p. 67]

May 22, 2018As it stands, this is not a strong collection of Mega Man games compared to the first. If you want all the Mega Man games on your Switch, you’ll obviously need this volume, but if you don’t feel that need, you might skip this one.

May 22, 2018All told, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 feels like a letdown compared to the stellar presentation of its predecessor. Missing features and lower quality games easily make this the more skippable of the two, although that doesn’t necessarily mean that this is a bad collection. We’d recommend this to any fans of the Mega Man series – 9 and 10 just about justify the collection on their own – but those who are looking to get their feet wet may want to pass on this and just get the first collection.
