    Easily my game of the year from 2020, although it's too bad I only got around to picking it up now. I'm not going to spend too long writing this review, but simply put, this game executes the concept well.

    It's a bizarre and outlandish revenge story of a shark evolving to become the supreme of its kind so as to get back at the fisher who killed her mother. Has all the makings of a great    Easily my game of the year from 2020, although it's too bad I only got around to picking it up now. I'm not going to spend too long writing this review, but simply put, this game executes the concept well.

    I had a blast playing this game. I even went back to get 100% in each area after the story ended.

    Giving credence to the claim that the Switch can’t run games properly, Maneater seems poorly ported. The reality though? It isn’t very good anyway. [Issue #4, p. 67]

    It may not tackle deep, meaningful themes, but Maneater is a great way to shut one’s brain off and chill on the couch for a couple of hours with a simple (but satisfying) power fantasy. This fantasy just so happens to involve a shark who can attack sunbathers by dropping in them from twenty feet in the air…
