I've loved Kirby since I was a kid, but I'll confess that I haven't played many Kirby games. As much as I enjoy the concept, I'm not a big platformer player. However, playing this was some of the most fun I've had in a game in a really long time.

The environments are beautiful and well-designed, the music is phenomenal, and it's not extremely difficult to 100% but still feels rewarding

By the way I gave it a 9 because I don't believe any game is a 10 and I want to be fair and honest, though if I could I'd give it a 9.5.

There's not a whole lot to say here. This is exactly what you'd expect out of Kirby in 3D. You get the power ups and you get the mouthful mode and it's all quite fun. It gets a bit repetitive in the middle as you get closer to the end, but this is ultimately a good game.

This game makes me so happy. Great fun. Replay ability. Hardcore gamers say it’s not challenging, but for regular people it’s the right amount of difficulty. Very cute characters. I love trying to upgrade the powers.

What a beauty this game! And cute too, but we expected that with Kirby.
This game offers varied, colourful levels, funny transformations of the protagonist and a soundtrack that fits.
I only see two flaws in it: 1) The impossibility to simply restart a level without going back to the world map and without getting two loading times. Especially cumbersome if you want to beat a boss

    2) The ease to beat the last boss of the additional world. I had more difficulties to beat Clawroline and the last boss of the regular world.

But in the end this game's a great addition to the Switch's library, a game which can please young as old.

I had so much fun playing this game. First I love Kirby series and was so excited for the game to come out. When it did, it exceeds my expectation, it was extremely fun. The new system where the powers can be evolve makes it really fun.

The only thing which I am disappointed is probably it is very obvious that Kirby gets much less funds to develop its game unlike Mario. I really hope

Both Mario Parties, while decent, just don't capture the same kind of party game excitement as they did on systems liked the Game Cube or the Wii. Mario 3D world is incredible, but is just a port of a game from another system. And Bowsers Fury, also incredible, is very short lived and can be beaten in an hour and a half if you put your mind to it. Now we have Kirby. a game that genuinely thrills and excites the way that Nintendo games are supposed to. HAL Labs has done what Nintendo's first party devs seem unable to do, make a game that brings the player in without sacrificing what has always made the character successful.

Kirby finds himself on a new planet and, in more ways then one, a new dimmension. The first for the series 3D adventure is visually stimulating and harkens back to Mario Odyssey levels of exploration in the search for the errant Waddle Dees and Gachapon balls. As the game progresses I get to feel as though I, as Kirby, am getting stronger thanks to the blueprints that you can easily find throughout the levels. The gameplay is smooth with some useful tricks hidden in dialogue for those who want to speedrun the game or just beat the time trial challenges along Treasure Road. No matter what you want to accomplish in Kirby and the Forgotten Land you are able to do it and you will most likely have fun the entire time. The only reason this game isn't a 10 for me is that I wish there were more post game content. the entire game can be beaten in a total of about 8 hours, and if you wanted to 100% the game you're only really looking at a total of 15 hours of gameplay, by conservative estimates. For $60 I would prefer there to be either more boss rush style stages in the arena, or even a new game plus mode where you can't get as many health items and the enemies are a bit tougher. Regardless maybe with some DLC or free updates this game will hit the 10 spot. but for now Kirby and the Forgotten Land will have a permanent spot on the list of games that are MUST PLAY for the Nintendo Switch.

First half of the game was just amazing - lots of inventive ways of using Kirby abilities and mouthful mode, but all second part of the game was just getting things a bit harder with almost no new mechanics. I think that this part with something new in each level was done better in Mario Odyssey.
But in general it was pretty fun - challenges were quite difficult almost from the beginning

Kirby definitely take some inspiration from Mario Odyssey and the implementation is good but not as revolutionary as in Mario Odyssey. In Kirby mostly it's only the matter of option instead of functionality and the variations not really that many although the variation comes from you upgrading the abilities which create ton of fun as you progress through each level.

Difficulty of the game way too easy even in wild mode but that's understandable as Kirby not aim to be a challenging game, instead become a relaxing game. Luckily, the boss design is fabulous so there's a learning process to save all the waddle dees, just don't use any buff to create more challenging experience while playing.

Regarding exploration, it's somehow way too easy, I kind of expect that hidden path should be hardly noticeable but in this game, it doesn't seem like a hidden path at all. It could be due to my habit of playing any game (search every corner) which makes Kirby not really a pleasant experience when it comes to exploration. Mario Odyssey on the other hand, has a lot of hidden path, room, etc which makes exploration more dynamic and fun.

Level design is great but somehow (the way I see and experience it) all levels not create equally or at least reach certain standard. Some levels are boring, some are generic and fine, some are fantastic especially the last level which also quite lengthy. Although, I can say that nearing the end, all levels are consistently great. Probably because they throw every element in the game (?)

The addition of treasure road are great which create more challenging levels as well as teach you how to fully understand the capabilities of all the abilities. Some levels are too easy and some are total nonsense that I barely reach the target time.

Last the the developer decision of FPS lock-unlock is weird. Kirby is a 30 FPS game but when you in the level or shop menu, the game will unlock to 60 FPS. The inconsistencies really bothers me. I prefer to go all the way with 30 FPS instead of jumping from 30 to 60 and then back to 30 again when playing the level.

Overall I do enjoy the game although it's completely a very short game for me. The pricing of the game is way too high for such content that offered in the game. Sorry, but I'm a type of gamer that do care about the game length because it's mostly reflect on the content or activities you can do in the game. Of course, compare to the other installment, this one is the best Kirby game ever created.

Kirby’s best outing yet! HAL has successfully translated the formula into 3D without skimping on novel ideas. The levels are inventive, with enough optional challenges to keep them engaging from start to finish. Treasure Road levels test the full range of copy abilities. Post-game content is meaty and challenging. I wish it ran at 60 FPS, but I’ll live.

Kirby is an extremely fun game and very kid friendly. The story isn't too complicated and is interesting enough to keep you engaged. The knock on this is the difficulty of the challenge levels to get the required resource for upgrading your weapons. The game does not do a good job explaining what you need to do on those levels

Jugabilidad: perfecta, simplemente perfecta.

Kirby works so well in 3D, the controls are comparable to that of Mario Odyssey’s. The bosses are flawless, the story is amazing, the voices are fleshed and amazingly acted. Taking all a world's levels, and mixing them into one level is a cool idea, however, it drags on for way too long, to the point where it isn't "Wow this is so much fun and I'm loving every bit of it", it's "get this marathon over with.".

I just finished playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The graphics were stunning and the gameplay was smooth and intuitive. The levels were challenging but not frustrating, and the boss battles were epic. The addition of new abilities and power-ups kept the game fresh and exciting. Overall, I highly recommend this game to any fan of platformers or Kirby games in general. It's definitely worth the purchase! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I came in expecting it to be a fun little cute game where Kirby eats a car. I came out with this being one of my favorite games on the console. Fantastic level and boss design, unfailingly creative, a beautiful art style, a purveying sense of happiness throughout... My only problem is I wish the ending plot twist related to Kirby rather than Elfilin, but that's really a very small nitpick. This game is fantastic. Best Kirby game, easy. Buy it now. Expand

I have always found Kirby games to be amazing and this was no exception. Nintendo handled the transition from 2d to 3d in what I would say is the best way possible.

Probably my favorite Kirby game I have ever played! With a lot of stuff that Mario Odyssey has but with Kirby! And man like Doug Bowser said at TGA, "All he had to do was go full mouth full mode on a giant car to do it." The fact that you can even turn into a car on that game is insane along with other stuff!! And yes one more thing, CONGRATULATIONS ON BEST FAMILY GAME!! The game obviously tries not to keep you needlessly long in a single level and is, as is traditional in the series, fairly accessible to players of all ages and abilities, so that it only asks for a challenge at specific moments. It's a shame that those great imaginative worlds and cool puzzles aren't used more. [Issue#319]

Without a shadow of a doubt Kirby And The Forgotten Land is one of the best titles to have released in 2022. And one of the best on the Nintendo Switch. Offering bright, breezy, and downright fun gameplay all wrapped up with some brilliant and characterful levels and characters. However it may be too easy for the more hardcore gamer looking for a challenge.

Kirby And The Forgotten Land is one of the most fun, polished and bright games this whole year, while also being a family-friendly title which is a big plus.
