    Let me tell you something, this game is incredible.
    If you like kirby you are gonna love it. If is your first kirby you are gonna love it. If you play co-op with a friend or a family member they are gonna love it. This is just a good platformer, cute, looks good, plays great, every level feels very much different, the new powers are very cool... just play it.

    10/10 Better than Elden Ring

    Kirby is the perfect family-friendly game to play. Co-op is a joy with a sibling or family member. It's thanks to Nintendo we still get games for all ages. We rarely see that nowadays when everyone assumes videogames should be for "experienced gamers". Nope, Kirby is here whether you're 1-100 ;)

    Kirby and the forgotten land is an awesome platformer. This is the first fully 3D Kirby Game. The graphics are colorful and vibrant. The gameplay is great and makes a lot of fun. The new mouthful mode gives Kirby even more options.
    Yes, it´s on the easier side, but a game doesn´t have to be difficult all the time.
    In my opinion, the best Kirby game avaiable.

    Kirby and the forgotten land is funny and the story is heart-touching.
    The mouthful mode is also amazing. If you never or already played Kirby, then you need this.

    I finished Kirby and the Forgotten Land, did all of the side content, and all of it was an absolute JOY to play. The gameplay was fun and fresh, the OST was constantly impressing me, the graphics/performance were superb, the town activities were great, and the Treasure Road trials were always a fun break from the main path. The game just keeps getting better as you play and the climax, toI finished Kirby and the Forgotten Land, did all of the side content, and all of it was an absolute JOY to play. The gameplay was fun and fresh, the OST was constantly impressing me, the graphics/performance were superb, the town activities were great, and the Treasure Road trials were always a fun break from the main path. The game just keeps getting better as you play and the climax, to my total surprise, made me cry a bit. The game was mostly easy, even on Wild Mode, but there’s more than enough challenge in the Treasure Roads and an extra few important things that I won’t name. The level design was the true star, in my opinion. All the levels were so intricately woven, disallowing mostly any backtracking if you’re skilled enough to 100% everything on the first attempt. Extremely streamlined, varied, and constantly engaging. Especially if you go in not expecting a super challenging game. To wrap up this very vague wrap-up of the game: the whole experience was unexpectedly phenomenal, even with high expectations.… Expand

    While I don't think Kirby ATFL is the most groundbreaking title in games, I think this is THE Kirby game to play!

    It really brings Kirby to a whole new level of greatness that wasn't really experienced in past titles. The copy abilities are especially interesting to see in 3D and act like new abilities. Oftentimes, Nintendo can be very stiff when it comes to adding brand new characters into a series (Looking at you, modern Paper Mario...) But to see new characters here is seriously great and I look forward to getting attached to them.

    The town aspect is also brilliant. It serves as a hub world and it's just incredible to just chill out in the village. Overall, this game is like a Kirby game but now in 3D so expect the typical stuff while adding a lot of new elements. It's probably the most refreshing Kirby game in a long time and is a must-play on Switch if you love Kirby or love 3D platformers.    … Expand

    This is the most fantastic Kirby game I have ever played; the mechanics are satisfying, the music is catchy, the polish is superb, and this game has some of the best bosses. Kirby feels better than ever in 3d. Also, the lore is intriguing. The only minor fault here is that there are only 12 copy abilities, but the upgrades make up for that.

    The game does absolutely everything right. The level design is great, the music is great, the story is great like just about everything is near perfect. I just wish that Mario also could do the same but a lot of his games suffers from basic game design and hopefully the next Kirby games will got me covered

    Probably the best kirby game. My son and i love to play this game together and the co op works well in this game. The game design is flawless and has a ton of replay value.

Nos encontramos ante un juego sencillo en cuanto a su dificultad incluso en la opción de mayor dificultad. Nuestro objetivo es sencillo, termina cada nivel habiendo conseguido el máximo número de objetivos que te indican antes de empezar cada partida. Si lo consigues progresarás adecuadamente en el juego, si no siempre puedes repetir el nivel y descubrir aquella zona que en tu primera partida pasaste desapercibida. Me gustaría recomendar el título tanto a aquellos que ya estén con otro juego como aquellos que no saben a qué jugar, especialmente a los primeros porque un juego como Kirby te ayudará a cambiar de nota, olvidarte del juego al que estás ahora inmerso, desbloquear tu mente y permitirte continuar después de un rato de chill.

    Puntos a mejorar: Regulero en el modo Dock con resolución baja y algún tironcillo, dificultad muy básica, falta de diálogos hablados.

    Kirby and the Forgotten Land isn't ground-breaking and it's fairly easy. However, neither of those things are necessarily faults and are instead how Kirby is essentially supposed to be. In other words, the developers have almost perfectly achieved what they set out to, which is make a charming, fun, replayable adventure and the transition to 3D has been done brilliantly.

    Das Spiel ist sehr an Mario Odyssee angehaucht von der oberwelt nur die levels sind sehr linear und selbst im wilden Modus doch sehr einfach was aber für die Zielgruppe gut knackig ist in manchen Boss Fights ich finde es ist das beste kirby Spiel was es gibt

    fazia muito tempo que não me divertida com jogos plataforma 3D da nintendo desde o falecido nintendo 64, sobre kirby nunca fui muito fã da bolinha rosa apesar do seu carisma, sempre achei todos os seus jogos meio parecido mais este novo em 3D me prendeu ao longo das 7 horas de gameplay, e tudo por mudaram o 2D por 3D ? não sei ao certo, mas toda a junção da franquia Kirby, com essesfazia muito tempo que não me divertida com jogos plataforma 3D da nintendo desde o falecido nintendo 64, sobre kirby nunca fui muito fã da bolinha rosa apesar do seu carisma, sempre achei todos os seus jogos meio parecido mais este novo em 3D me prendeu ao longo das 7 horas de gameplay, e tudo por mudaram o 2D por 3D ? não sei ao certo, mas toda a junção da franquia Kirby, com esses graficos cheio de carinho , trilha sonora boa, me pegaram , vai entrar pra lista concerteza de jogos casuais pra eu jogar e só matar o tempo, muito bom.… Expand

    Es un buen juego, pero es demasiado fácil. Le falta dificultad, no es tan fácil como el Kirby: Star Allies, pero aún así, sigue siendo MUY FÁCIL. Necesitamos un juego así pero con la dificultad del Kirby: planet Robobot, un juego desafiante, en este es muy fácil todo. Pero más allá de eso, es un buen juego

I love the areas in this game, as a sucker for tropical beaches and other fun and visually appealing themes, and the visuals just don't quit. This game is generally forgiving in difficulty (I'm only on the 3rd world) and that combines with the overall well-calibrated layout to make it an accessible and pleasant experience for younger gamers, and enjoyable for gamers of all ages. The waddle-dee town is a fun hub world to hang out in and unlock features. I never played Kirby outside of Smash Bros but I dig the cute and funny concepts here. I really was blown away by this game as a Switch fan and a fan of 3d world style platformers and co-op games. If you enjoy good Nintendo games, this is one of them.… Expand

    No es muy complicado si no te pones auto limitaciones tipo dejar una habilidad después de recibir daño o no flotar demasiado y el diseño de niveles es muy bueno pero muy simple al mismo tiempo, no hay demasiado secretos o acertijos extremadamente complicados fuera de la ruta principal.
    Recomiendo    Gran juego, es la evolución lógica de la formula a la perspectiva de tercera dimensión.

    This game takes some of the gameplay and feel of newer 3D Mario games, and meshes with the charm of the Kirby franchise. Many hidden secrets in each level and awesome ability upgrades keep you playing for hours. The co-op is also a nice feature that works really well.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Kirby Forgotten Land is an excellent time. This is a no-brainer for Kirby fans, but also an excellent time to jump in for newcomers.

    The gameplay is tight and responsive, the guard/dodge mechanics and counterstriking feels really good to pull off, and the powers are varied enough to keep the gameplay from getting stale. The visuals are eye candy with beautifully designed levels that kept pushing me forward from start to finish.

    Another positive is that this game actually has some difficulty to it, especially if you are going for the target times in treasure road stages. The coliseum gets pretty difficult in the post game as well which is very welcome. I enjoy the easiness of Kirby games personally, but its nice to have some challenge towards the end.

    My favorite thing about this game is waddle dee town and, by far, upgrading abilities. I was so curious as to what the transformations were and how they would change my powers that I actually grinded colosseum matches for upgrade stars in order to unlock every upgrade as soon as I received their blueprints.

    I do have some complaints however. The first complaint is the pool of powers, its a bit disappointing that sleep got in and spark, laser, water, rod, wheel, or yo-yo didn't.
    My second complaint is that he colosseum is just a rehash of all the battles from the main story mixed into a small gauntlet, which IS cool. However, It would have been perfect for legacy battles not affiliated with the story to be used, such as kracko, dark matter, marx, magolor, the squeak squad, etc. It does feature a meta knight fight that doesn't occur in the story but other than that its pretty bland. And there's only 3 (as far as I can tell, I haven't 100% the game yet so maybe there's another) so if you use the colosseum to grind upgrade stars, it can get pretty boring pretty quickly.

    My final complaint is really minor - during some of the cutscenes there are 0 sound effects. There's no sound effects coming from the beasts dashing at Kirby early in the game or Kirby sucking up the car, for example. There is a music track playing over the scene, but I thought it was a strange choice not to include sound effects for the character actions in some of the scenes.

    This game oozes charm every step of the way and is an extremely polished and enjoyable experience. There's a lot of value here as well, I'm in the high 90% for file completion and have almost 30 hours played (your mileage may vary). This is definitely the most time I've spent on a Kirby game in a single playthrough. I encourage anyone with a switch to check this game out. if you are a fan of Nintendo or Kirby or just platformers in general, you will like this game.

    I just beat the game. It was great! I love how the game is in 3d. I truly believe that the developers put their heart ands soul into it. I mean yeah it may not be mario 64 3dish but honestly it didn't need to be. It was still a somewhat open game. with the levels giving you plenty of room to explore.     This game is the Mario Odyssey of Kirby, the game and level design look incredible this game is way harder than most other Kirby games which have been a turn-off for me but I believe that they almost perfected the difficulty for me. I know these reasons might not carry over to other people but take it from as someone who has never played a Kirby before this game is amazing.

    -Graphics: the illumination system in some of the levels is kinda bad, especially in the post story levels and in treasure roads

    Probably the cutest game out on the Switch. At first I thought the game was too easy (even on the "harder" so called Wild Mode) but the challenge doesn't come from finishing the level, beating the bosses, etc. The challenge, if you want to call it that, is in getting all the objectives in a level.
    There are a lot of creative power-ups to collect and besides that the game looks beautiful too.

I am really impressed when I got her through this game I thought it was a bit too easy wasn't going to be satisfying but the difficulty really went up in last half of the game and I am truly amazed over the ending and the secret ending.     It is amazing how Hal made this game so freaking great. To think this is the first fully 3D Kirby game makes it even better. They made so many good things here, like the music, the gameplay, the evolution of the kirby abilities are so fun, the graphics and the art style is so beautiful. The final battle is one of the best ones in the series, it is really epic and hard. Also the game has aIt is amazing how Hal made this game so freaking great.     Best Kirby game to date. Very creative and inventive, Fun to play even though it may be a bit easy for some, good exploration and side missions and the graphics are amazingly crisp both docked and handheld! 10/10

    Best Kirby ever. Very easy game but still is a joy to play. the world is fantastic. very re playable until you find all in level secrets. im really happy with this game. all new kirby transformations are funny and very useful. Recommended.

    This game is essentially Super Kirby Odyssey, except it's not as good as the game it's based on. It has the same feel, many of the same mechanics, and fun collectibles/gameplay. However, it has many issues compared to the 3D Mario games. Firstly, the game does not run very great as it practically runs at 30 FPS most of the time. Compared to the Mario games which usually run at 45-60ishThis game is essentially Super Kirby Odyssey, except it's not as good as the game it's based on.     El primer Kirby realmente en 3d, para mi es un gran juego, para empezar es un juego que siempre es divertido, es algo facil pero facil y adictivo, gráficamente es de lo mejor que tiene el Switch, los graficos resaltan por brillantes, aunque corre solo a 30 fps me hubiera gustado que corriera a 60 como mario Oddysey.     Kirby and the Forgotten Land was an absolutely magical journey. After waiting over 20 years for a 3D Kirby platformer game the developers at HAL Laboratory did not disappoint. Kirby feels right at home running around in circles, using his powers in a 3D landscape, and doing what he's always done best but from every possible angle. It's not something revolutionary or different, which adds aKirby and the Forgotten Land was an absolutely magical journey. After waiting over 20 years for a 3D Kirby platformer game the developers at HAL Laboratory did not disappoint. Kirby feels right at home running around in circles, using his powers in a 3D landscape, and doing what he's always done best but from every possible angle. It's not something revolutionary or different, which adds a strange charm unique to this experience. Playing through this game just felt right, as if it was what Kirby always was, or perhaps meant to be. Like this was the next Kirby game, not a first in a new direction. It's difficult to explain, but it's as if this was the game we've all been waiting for in our minds, and it manifested perfectly before us at long last.

    While exploring the beautiful Forgotten Land this game tells a charming story that has a few delightful surprises along the way, all with a wonderful soundtrack that's easy to jam to. The various power-ups you earn along the way can be leveled up to become cooler (and sometimes sillier) as well as stronger, with plenty of well thought out boss battles to try them against throughout the journey. With 7 worlds to explore with several levels in each one and plenty to do back in the hub area like the Colosseum, there's plenty of content to keep you busy and always a feeling of something to do. This game is also filled with plenty of challenges, delightful mini-games, and a collectable system that's filled with hidden lore to add to the surprisingly well thought out narrative. It's hard to believe I'm in a world where I'm praising the story of a Kirby 3D platformer, but here I am, and I'm delighted to be doing so.

    From the moment I turned it on I was immediately charmed by the colorful world, the very well animated cutscenes, and the adorable sidekick you're given. So much thought and love was put into every level and every scene, and feeling the love the developers put into this game made me love it too. I can't wait to see where the adorable pink puffball goes from here, and look forward to more smiles and even more to love.    … Expand

    Knocked it out of the park with Kirbys masterful jump into 3D. Level design while linear is solid, abilities are fun baring a few control issues with ones like fire and drill, and the sound track is rocking as always. A MUST HAVE for switch owners who love platformers

    Amazing game! I really love the change to 3D perspective. The best feature in the new installment is the evolution of copy abilities. It makes the game way better and untio you finish it you still have copy abilities to wait for. If you like Kirby this game is a must-play.

    This feels like Kirby in 3D finally done right. A love child of Dreamland 3, SuperStar and Crystal shards all packed into one game. The OST is absolutely amazing and the gameplay is solid while also bringing new flavor. I have no complaints. This is a 10/10 game. If you're a Kirby fan, you will 100% enjoy this game. Buy it

    Additionally, players wanting a deeper challenge besides the main campaign are offered a much more challenging post-game and boss rush mode. Add these to the exploration factor, short challenge levels and hub area mini-games and you're in for about 20 hours of content with very little padding, all of which can be enjoyed by up to two players in local co-op.

    For Kirby veterans, I will add that the conversion of Kirby's moveset to a three dimensional space is completely flawless and feels very natural.
    One of my personal highlights of this new three dimensional Kirby gameplay are the boss fights, which are much more focused on the new dodge mechanic (comparable to those found in FromSoft or Monster Hunter games, while being much easier to pull off). The harder post-game bosses are an absolute blast thanks to this new combat system.

    It should also be noted that the number of available copy abilities has greatly reduced compared to the dozens of options Star Allies gave us. The lowest in the main series actually, numbering 12 (two of which are Sleep and Crash, single use abilities without a real moveset).
    However, this is far from a deal breaker and isn't nearly as impactful as it may initially seem. The new copy ability evolution mechanic allows you to "upgrade" them gradually, with Sleep and Crash getting a single upgrade and the rest getting at least two.
    These upgrades range from complete moveset overhauls, to boosts in power, range or rate of fire. It should also be noted that this is the best some classic abilities have ever been and that both new additions, Ranger and Drill, play great and feature concepts new to the series, like attacking enemies from below the ground or dual wielding 19th century style firearms with a fancy hat to match.

    The new mouthful mode is a blast too, adding variety to stages and working in a similar way to the fan- favorite Robobot armor, in the sense that it expands Kirby's moveset in an organic and engaging way, rather than turning him into an unstoppable force of mass destruction (i.e. Super Abilities and Hypernova).

    In regards to the story and contributions to Kirby lore, I will say without getting into spoilers that it absolutely delivers, being in the same vein as the previous titles. Don't expect a jaw-dropping game-changing reveal like in Star Allies, but expect the usual awesome final boss and loosely explained backstory to keep us hardcore fans entertained with crazy theories and such.

    The game of course isn't perfect, with my main complaint being the restrictive co-op (the second player can only play as Bandana Dee and can't explore on their own, with the camera focusing a little too much on Kirby).
    But overall, for the much anticipated first fully-fledged 3D Kirby adventure, this game delivers and exceeds my personal expectation. Get it, play it, enjoy it and if it's your first venture into the series make sure to check out the great games that came before it. Adventure, Super Star, Dream Land 3 and 64 are all available on Switch and other games on GB, GBA, DS, 3DS and Wii are all fantastic too.    … Expand

    I even died during the initial try on a couple of levels. It is still on the easy side, but offers just enough challenge to bring some excitement to the game. These levels are by far best as they utilize mouthful mode in fun ways as well as give us the most unique settings for a kirby game.

    One surprising feature is the ability to upgrade your copy abilities which adds a sort of progression. You do have the find the blueprints and you will have to get the currency but these are not chores and do not require you to grind, you will get the coins through just playing and the stars can be obtained by doing mini levels that take no more than 2 minutes. This lets you tailor the experience and change your favorite abilities into one that fit your playstyle better. Another form of progression is the town, here you can obtain new buildings that allow you to do things such as heal, watch cinematics or play mini games. It is not essential for anything other than upgrading abilities and you'll unlock most of it through just playing so there is no grinding. It's a fun addition that shows your progress when releasing waddle dees.

    There is also a lot to collect in this game, I did not collect a lot but when I was I thought it was quite enjoyable. The collectibles are hidden throughout each level in the form of "gotcha" figures. You can also use a vending machine to obtain any missing ones but its random which you'll get. These are not needed for anything in the game and you can skip them entirely.

    Graphically the game is great, it sticks to its stylized art very well and doesn't have anything that feels out of place. There were times where I had FPS drops but it was very rare and didn't stay that way for long.    … Expand

Great level design, good graphics despite being a Switch title, very creative gimmicks and abilities, good progression, great soundtrack, lots of variety, fun mini games. And the art direction of this game is a masterpiece. Best Nintendo Switch Platformer after Super Mario Odyssey.

    Best kirby game I’ve ever played and one of the best switch games of all time. So fun and so much to do. Imo it should be a 90+ but 85 is still decent. One of the biggest complaints about the game is that it’s short and while that may be true if you skim through the first 6 worlds, I’ve put 15 hours in so far and am still on the 7th world.     Grandisimo juego. Es precioso. El unico pero es que la dificultad del juego, la cual radica en encontrar todo y conseguir los tiempos objetivo (esto si que es complicado, pero no aporta ninguna recompensa en el juego). Pasarse el juego no es para nada dificil, pero es una gozada jugarlo.

I say that because the camera always centers on Kirby wherever he is and whatever he is doing. If you (the 2nd player) have passed a challenge and Kirby hasn't yet and he falls in the lava for example, the 2nd player is often teleported to the lava too... This feature was often frustrating, especially in the big boss fights where the camera just forces you to die because you're too far from Kirby.

    Besides the coop mode, I guess the game is a 10 for solo players but because of the coop mode that is sort of broken, I have to give it a 9. I highly recommend this game, even if you want to play in coop mode (just be prepared to be killed randomly). Enjoy!    … Expand

    Nice game to play with my nephew over the weekend. A bit too short I wish it could be longer though, also a bit too hard for my nephew to play. With these 2 improved the score can be improved too

    The game obviously tries not to keep you needlessly long in a single level and is, as is traditional in the series, fairly accessible to players of all ages and abilities, so that it only asks for a challenge at specific moments. It's a shame that those great imaginative worlds and cool puzzles aren't used more. [Issue#319]

    Without a shadow of a doubt Kirby And The Forgotten Land is one of the best titles to have released in 2022. And one of the best on the Nintendo Switch. Offering bright, breezy, and downright fun gameplay all wrapped up with some brilliant and characterful levels and characters. However it may be too easy for the more hardcore gamer looking for a challenge.
