    Very lacking, repetitive and the addition of dynamic music with really slow and unskippable scenes that you already watched 30 times already made me dislike this kirby a lot. Sure, you can argue past games has the same "unskippable cutscenes", but this one takes it to a whole nother level. For a casual playtrough main story only, that's okay but for someone that tries to go 100% it's veryVery lacking, repetitive and the addition of dynamic music with really slow and unskippable scenes that you already watched 30 times already made me dislike this kirby a lot. Sure, you can argue past games has the same "unskippable cutscenes", but this one takes it to a whole nother level. For a casual playtrough main story only, that's okay but for someone that tries to go 100% it's very annoying. The bosses are easier than ever, and overall the entire game feels like if I was in early game 24/7

    Nintendo was aware of this which is why they locked the true ending into re-visiting the entire 10 hours story all over again like same layout but a diferent palette + thougher enemies just to get the exact same ending as before with even more boring bossfights.     Çöp oyun..2010 yılında bile oynanmayacak oyunu 2022 yılında aaa etiketi altında çıkarıyorlar. fanboylarda bir güzel yiyor. far crya değişmiyor yaaa diyen tipler şu tip oyunları hep aynı şekilde çıkıp bir ses etmiyor.

    I can't believe I'm writing this. I love Kirby games but the transition to full 3D movement was such a gigantic misstep on their part.

    1) Controls often don't register inputs and you're left wondering why attacks don't come out or your pipe isn't jumping. It happened so often I thought I was crazy. 2) The depth perception is really bizarre. So many times I would be running around and    I can't believe I'm writing this. I love Kirby games but the transition to full 3D movement was such a gigantic misstep on their part.

    1) Controls often don't register inputs and you're left wondering why attacks don't come out or your pipe isn't jumping. It happened so often I thought I was crazy.

    2) The depth perception is really bizarre. So many times I would be running around and just fall straight off platforms and alleys. It often felt uncomfortable or out of place. I'll call it my fault when it is, but this felt constantly strange.

    3) Someone had it out for the casual audience. Wild mode? Mostly fine. CBT-levels of time constraints for bonus coins? Well those are for masochists I guess. Usually Kirby games wait till post game to show their hand like this. Strict time constraints on treasure road stages that allow for at most one mistake no matter what? Guys what are you doing?

    It's visually cute, has Kirby charm, the setting is almost entirely forgettable with very plain stages... and yet I wanted to play through it until the above glaring issues became too unbearable. Even classic Kirby on the Gameboy didn't play this poorly. I'd love to see a successor for Kirby in full 3D, but if they don't iron these issues out they're doomed to consecutive failure.    … Expand

    Boring Jump an Run with a cute little Ball. We need more RPG Elements like Mario Paper 1. This Game ist xtreme overrated.

    The game is a 9 if buying digitally knowing that the game wont be yours forever, but the fact that the physical edition requires a download means that the cartridge you are likely buying in the name of preservation, will be completly useless if/when nintendo decides to close down eshop servers. I still recomend the game based purely on gameplay.     This game is a massive steaming pile of garbage. The greedy developers are charging $60 for a mobile game. It doesn't even have the AAA quality to justify the $60 price tag. The graphics are a joke. It literally looks like a GameCube game with HD support. If the developers are going to charge $60, then I expect the graphics to look as good as it does in the cutscenes.     The gameplay is boring and repetitive. Kirby does not swallow things in real-time. I swallowed a giant traffic cone and it magically teleported inside Kirby. It looks even worse when you swallow a vending machine. Once again, the developers were too greedy and lazy to make the swallowing mechanics work in real-time like they do in the cutscenes. There are also no real-time spitting mechanics. The AI is incredibly stupid. The physics are trash. The soundtrack is terrible. The developers added cute upbeat music in this game, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. The sound effects and animations are poor. Too many clipping issues.

    I am honestly shocked that this game actually has multiplayer. I didn't expect that from developers that are clearly greedier and bigger cheapskates than EA and Activision. I appreciate that. However, there is only co-op multiplayer for the garbage campaign. If the developers weren't so cheap and put the effort to add PvP multiplayer, then I might have actually had fun with this game. I only recommend you get this game until it is $10 or less. This low-budget game is not worth the $60.    … Expand

Every idea that it has has been done 1000 times over, inside and out, from Kirby's abilities to the worlds to the laughable boss fights to basically everything else in the game. While I know that this is a kids game, it is so braindead in every idea that it has that it becomes a boring slog long before it ends. In terms ofKirby and the Forgotten Land is a bland and uninspired game. Every idea that it has has been done 1000 times over, inside and out, from Kirby's abilities to the worlds to the laughable boss fights to basically everything else in the game. While I know that this is a kids game, it is so braindead in every idea that it has that it becomes a boring slog long before it ends. In terms of performance, it's decent but lacks fluidity. I know it's a hardware pushing game, the graphics are quite impressive for the Switch, but that doesn't excuse that it feels really awkward to play at 30fps, at least for me. I feel like it's so highly overrated just because it's the first full-on 3D entry in the series but as an actual game, it's incredibly lacking in fun and content.… Expand

    Es el juego que toda mi vida espere de Kirby. me hubiese gustado un poco mas de dificultad y libertad de movimiento y cámara, pero es un magnifico comienzo y transición al 3D, entendiendo la dinámica e identidad de los juegos de Kirby. Muy merecido su premio al GOTY de mejor juego familiar. Recomendable.

    The game obviously tries not to keep you needlessly long in a single level and is, as is traditional in the series, fairly accessible to players of all ages and abilities, so that it only asks for a challenge at specific moments. It's a shame that those great imaginative worlds and cool puzzles aren't used more. [Issue#319]

    Without a shadow of a doubt Kirby And The Forgotten Land is one of the best titles to have released in 2022. And one of the best on the Nintendo Switch. Offering bright, breezy, and downright fun gameplay all wrapped up with some brilliant and characterful levels and characters. However it may be too easy for the more hardcore gamer looking for a challenge.
