This game would be fun if the controls and interface weren't SO VERY BAD. Trying to do anything in any menu is frustrating and confusing. I don't recommend unless it gets patched with controls that make sense. Expand

If you like playing in hand-held you might have a better experience with this game.
Unfortunately, the controls (especially in menus) completely ignore inputs when trying to make a selection.

Each time I wanted to switch Skills, for example, I needed to undock the Switch in order to proceed. A lot of inventory wasted for the same reason. I just wanted to move about the menu and see descriptions of what I collected, but I instead used items because it never allowed me to select anything but the first item.
(The inventory issue was not see in battles. Again, it's the menus that are exceptionally buggy.)

EDIT: I had to bump down from 5 to 2 of 10. The menu issues absolutely continue even in hand-held mode.
Shops are exceptionally buggy when trying to buy and sell.

EDIT 2: Dropped to 0 stars.
There is a game-breaking bug when you hear the "dungeon" with no map.
It's random if it freezes when you encounter the first NPC or when you're in the boss fight, but it's each time.

Then the game punishes you by taking away health, wealth and items if you close the game and open it up to get out of the frozen state.
Considering how difficult it can be to same up coins to purchase items, and how you need to go out of your way to reach shops, that's the last straw.
