This game is very different from any others that I have played but it was kind of fun to play. It's a shorter game for sure maybe about 8 hours or so of actual gameplay. It's a shorter game for sure maybe about 8 hours or so of actual gameplay. The cool thing was that it was fully voice acted and it appeared to be quite polished. The one mechanic that I didn't really ever use was the pause to control multiple characters and tell them what to do and then unpause to watch them do what I told them to do. It was presented like the combat in fallout 3 but in reality it was nothing like that at all and you are much better off just letting the AI control the other characters at all times.

This story made no sense to me either. I'll leave it at that I don't want to get into spoilers. If you are looking for an rpg I wouldn't suggest this game.

Fear Effect Sedna marks the return of a well-regarded series from the early days of the 21st century. Featuring enjoyable animation cut scenes and a quality soundtrack, this Nintendo Switch version ends up losing to its counterparts when played in handheld mode, as many of the details become too small to be visible on the screen. Also the game's plot does not attempt to make a bridge to new players, who won't feel a connection with the game's story and its strategic component is less interesting than expected.

Fear Effect Sedna by far is the worst game that we put our hands on this year. It is not possible to highlight a positive point, either in the technical aspects like graphics, sound, gameplay, or artistic aspects such as style or history. Of course, the effect of this game on the players is ghastly.

It is a sloppy mess that gets off on the wrong foot, only to shoot itself in the foot right after. It is a weird hodgepodge of body horror, cyberpunk sleaze, and secret agent shenanigans that, in theory, should work, but don't.
