Very fun fast-paced gameplay with solid controls and fun mechanics. 30 beautiful tracks and many vehicles to race in. 10 player races make a nice mess. Your $20 are completely justified with this game.

Fantastic graphic running at 60 fps !!! If you love game like wipeout and dream about a new f-zero this is the game for you ! 30 tracks (full tracks and not just 15 with 15 reverse) !! Very challenging game !! The multiplayer mode is really cool too ;)

This game truly captures the blistering speed of F-Zero, while embracing its own unique and simple mechanics. I don't normally enjoy racing games, but this game is the perfect display of seamless Switch multiplayer, and the ideal means of cooling off after multiple deaths in Zelda. A 10 from me. No problems.

Damn I am having a blast playing this game. It is so fast, you have to really focus.
The graphics are damn amazing and show what the Switch is capable of. Unlike some other games like Need for Speed, you can actually play 4-player split-screen and given the affordable price, a must-have for the early cycle of Nintendo Switch games.

Gorgeous looking game, other than Zelda this is the must have launch title for the switch.

The graphics of this game are from another planet. You wouldn´t expect this from a handheld console and the best part is that the sensation of speed is done beatifully! The only thing I didn´t like is that so far I haven´t had but one online game since it´s difficult to find any other users online.

Like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, this is essentially Fast Racing Neo from the Wii U, but put onto the Nintendo Switch, however it's been changed slightly.

The cups and tracks have changed, there's now three races per cup and all DLC tracks from Neo, are on the Switch with no extra purchase, the cars have also been changed, to me it looks like the Models have been remade as some that looks bulky on the Wii U look more polished and toned down, which that I like a lot.

When playing with a friend, the games runs a smooth 60fps in Tabletop mode, which is brilliant and the Joycon controls feel smooth and fluent to hold.

If you have a Switch and can't wait for Mario Kart 8, definitely get this game, you won't be disappointed!

    SERIOUS SPEED

Ok fine, i admit it, im not a big racing fan. I’ve played a few Mariokarts, some F-zero’s, Extreme g’s, and various open world games where you get to drive vehicles. But Over all, racing only games are not something i normally go looking for. That being said the idea of something like fast racing neo sparked my intrest when i first heard about it for the wiiu, a gorgeous looking game where it seems like you move at the speed of light, and its cheap? sign me up! Sadly, i never did pick it up for the wiiu, so i was even more enthused when i heard it was coming on the switch as FAST RMX with improved graphics and all the dlc content added, all this for 20.00 dollars is a great deal, but is it worth your time? Yes, and lets look into why.

    GRAPHICS
Fast RMX has fantastic visuals, i would even go as far to say that its the best looking game on the Switch, besides breath of the wild. The vehicles have a sharp and futuristic look to them, and although theres not much varience between them, i never really thought they looked out of place. The scenery on the 30 diffrent tracks are stunning and have similar appeal that mariokart had, in the sense that i found myself replaying certain tracks over and over because of how gorgeous they were.  They are varied as well, from lush tropical jungles to space stations to Ice floes on giant glaciers. They really are fun and diverse.  The smooth gameplay comes in at 1080p and 60fps in the switches docked mode, and stays at 60fps even during 4 player split screen(which by the way this game has.) It is the most technically achieved game on the switch yet.

    GAMEPLAY

As the title implies, its all about speed in Fast RMX. Racing is blindingly fast especially on harder modes, the game has three, novice, advanced and expert, you unlock advanced and expert as you complete races in 1st or 2nd place. You also unlock new vehicles (15 in total)and  tracks this way. I cant stress how well they implemented the difficulty modes in this game. The harder the mode the faster you go, and while that might seem overwhelming to some, the game does a fantastic job of easing you in by starting you off in novice mode. By the time you’ve made it through all the tracks the first time, youll be ready to take on advanced, and by that point you welcome the challenge and thrill of going hundreds of miles faster then you were in the previous difficulty mode. The racing mechanics are very solid, i felt like I was always in control of my vehicle and the times that i crashed i felt like it was something i did wrong, well that is most of the time, the tracks do have some projectiles and obstructions that get thrown in the way, but after racing a track a few times, you can memorize where and how they will pop-up. The boost mechanic adds a lot of fun and depth, hitting multiple boosts is very satisfying as that’s when you’ll notice the screen start blurring due to the speed. its also worth to note that the HD rumble works very well with this game, youll feel every bump and crash.

    SOUND
The music in this game is very well done. If you like EDM at all, do yourself a favor and turn up the volume when playing this. The game has over 25 tracks that are mostly quite catchy and get your heart pumping. The sound effect get the job done but nothing that really stands out except for the voice over guy who does a great job and is the same one from the F-zero franchise.
    CONCLUSION
Even if your not a hardcore racing fan, there is a lot of fun to be had with FAST RMX. the incredible speed of the game might seem too much for some to overcome, but despite its blazing fast gameplay its very friendly to casuals. I also can t stress how much of a deal this is at 20.00. You will get hours upon hours of high speed racing through beatiful tracks and enviroments. I give FAST RMX a 9.0/10

    The good: Speed, graphics,Control
The bad: no online co-op as of yet, some obstructions are a bit cheap
The ugly: some of those car designs

One of the best racing games on the Switch, in my opinion. The way it's running on a Switch got me hooked immediately with its smooth fast-paced gameplay, with a variety of cars and maps, it's enjoyable to play both in co-op and in singleplayer, the music is nice and doesn't fall off the place.

This game is a blast and a bargain. For those of us who don't want to fork out 60 bucks for Super Mario Kart 8 again, this fills that void. What it lacks in originality it makes up for in high speed fun. It feels like the love child of F-Zero and WipeOut.

This game is like the classic f zero games there is plenty of single player content which is super fast paced making you constantly want to scream "now this is pod racing". One problem with this single player though is the 3 difficulties feel roughly the same, hell the easiest one is the hardest in my opinion despite this the games a lot of fun and worth it for that alone.

    The good:
    - Enhanced visuals, running at 1080p at 60fps when docked.
    - New tracks and music. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
    - Controls are very tight, very responsive, better than Fast Racing Neo on the Wii U.
    - HD Rumble is subtle but the feedback makes a difference.
    - Online matchmaking is much faster.
    - A feature added to hero mode makes it feel even more like F-Zero: navigating over the colored phase strips refills you energy.
    - A steal at $20. If you liked Fast Racing Neo you won't regret buying this.
    - It's really the closest thing to F-Zero out there.
    - Holy crap it's fast.

    The bad:
    - Many tracks feel unimaginative and repetitive in design.
    - Lacking in features (no time trials, etc.). Shin'en plans to roll out updates.
    - Vehicle customization would have been nice, even if it was just cosmetic.
    - Online is bare bones. No leaderboards, can't invite friends, not matched with similarly skilled players.

    The ugly:
    - Lag and server issues result in buggy online play, with players seeming to teleport, and the game announcing you finished in one place and then the rankings screen saying you finished in another. This needs to be patched badly.

Despite online issues, online multiplayer is still fun for a casual race. I strongly recommend this game to any fans of F-Zero, Wipeout, Hydro Thunder, or similar fast, technical, arcade style racers. Don't expect a Mario Kart style experience, there is little to no AI rubberbanding. Don't expect a racing simulator, it's absurdly fast and over the top. It might give you heart palpitations.

Brutal va 60 fps y es una maravilla de jugar, a la altura de Wipe Out y F-Zero.
Graficamente muy bueno y por 20 euros me parece una ganga.
Es suficimientemente completo en cuanto a opciones y tiene online.

    Great value for the price!

The game is a great fast pace racing game, and was my second launch title (Zelda in physical copy the first, of course). If you like F-zero style of games, this is a must buy.

This game is a pretty solid racing game which really does push the Switch to it's limits, even in handheld mode. The two colors you switch to are blue and orange, and you have to swap between the two to boost on the corresponding color panel or to make corresponding jumps. This game is also crazy fast. Not F Zero GX fast, but fast enough to make the Switch run circles around other handheld devices.

My only complaint is newcomers getting used to the controls. Every time I played this at college, I had to constantly remind them what the boost button is or how to lean on corners. The game is quite technical, as people I play with locally tend to come last place. Overall though I think this is a great eshop title and hope to see more from Shinen on the Nintendo Switch.

If this game had to be a 10/10 i would need them to work on the design of the machines, giving them more character (as of right now i dont give a ... which one im playing as) and also like F-Zero i would like to see actual characters behind each wheel. Even though it would make the game even more of a F-Zero-clone i would really like to see that for a possible FAST RMX 2 other than that they need to work on the fact that boost becomes too important within the hyper-difficulty. The last thing i want to add to the review is the pricing which is so reasonable that i have to give this game a solid 8. Expand

Its not bad if you get it for a good price. Graphics are pretty decent in handheld mode and its a pretty fun arcade racer.

On the other side, there are no weapons like in wipeout, nothing really new or exciting on the level designs and those switching color mechanics dont really do it for me.

I loved Neo, and I love this game as well.

Controls seem to have improved a bit, and difficulty seems to have been scaled down. Now that's both an improvement and a flaw: yes the races in Neo could get soul-crushingly frustrating on the hardest modes, but that also gave you a massive adrenaline rush if you managed to reach first place, and that feeling isn't really here. Now that's both an improvement and a flaw: yes the races in Neo could get soul-crushingly frustrating on the hardest modes, but that also gave you a massive adrenaline rush if you managed to reach first place, and that feeling isn't really here. Overall though, the single player campaign is a blast, and now every speed league has its own hero mode, yay!

Local multiplayer works amazing as well, great fun with amazing graphics at flawless 60fps, even when the Switch is undocked. It's just a shame Hero mode isn't playable with others.

The problem comes with online multiplayer. Other vehicles keep stuttering around you and if you look at the minimap other players just warp all over the place, even way off the track. And then there's some issues with the HUD showing me I'm in first place, but then when I finish it says I'm second or third. Now all of this might be because players are exploiting glitches (as was the case with Neo), because of bad servers or poor programming, but it pretty much ruins online mode either way.

It's a real shame since the rest of the game is so great, but in 2017, indie or not, heck even Nintendo or otherwise, if your game has online features they should perform way better than they do here.

The game has a nice graphics and fun, fast-paced gameplay. I enjoyed playing it with friends and alone. At the same time, it bore me quite quickly and although I sometimes go back to it, it didn't hold me for too long - and I am not sure why. If you are into fast-paced driving games though, you can risk it. It's not too expensive and can entertain you for a while.

great graphics with solid 60fps during the game.

however, when talking about the gameplay, it's just a mediocre imitation of WipeOut series.

Also, the technical aspects of just controlling the vehicle are difficult, as even after playing through the game, I found it hard to not hit walls and obstacles. Could be user error, or just that you need to really work at it, but maybe that's this game's "thing" is adding extra skill needed. Not sure. The game is pretty straight forward otherwise, no frills, you start the race and try to get 1st place, or a certain time. That's about it. By far the worst is the track design. There's just no way to know what's coming up; there is no reactionary play possible whatsoever. Doing any action at any stage without memorising the next stage of the level blindfolded is instant crash and/or lose. Boost at wrong time, make the wrong turn, not remembering where boost orbs are, forgetting where one single the coloured boosts is ...etc is instant lose / crash. The visuals go by way too fast with no telegraphing whatsoever + **** camera code = the only way to remotely get good at the game is to memorise the level completely (which I did, and it worked!). That is boring, that is not a good racing game.

It's really hard to even find a good control config, with having to switch + accel. Why isn't accelerate "up" down "down" on the dpad / stick?? Why can't I *bind* it to up and down on dpad / stick? IF I can bind accelerate to up, then I can leave the thumb for boost / switch and LR for strafe. Too bad I can't do that! Why does motion control bind to TURN? That's freaking useless! I want motion control to *strafe* so I can *turn* with my stick without using shoulders!

Visuals are good, runs smooth and sound / music is good. They should have actually playtested their game before shipping it.
