    Gonna be honest, the frame rate drags a little, and the graphics are crap. But if you love the D-B-D formula already, this game is for you! I can say that it brings the 85% of the experience to the switch, so fans who have already played it will be please, but newcomers may find the steep price and technical drawbacks a bit too painful.

    Being a longtime Dead by Daylight player on Xbox I found this version to be excellent for on the go fun gaming.
    The lower resolution graphics were expected, though the lack of 2 of the killers available on other plantforms is disappointing, it does not take away from the enjoyment of playing this game anywhere you can connect to the internet with your switch.     I really wanted to play it because I have it on PC, when accessing the game after updating it I find very low graphics. The miniatures of the characters are shown in great graphic detail, but the characters of the game and the game in general have very bad graphics. I know it's the nintendo switch and not an xbox or ps4 but I think they can do better.

    Great port! In-game on the dock it plays like the PS4. Textures are pretty good and the frame rate is solid. I will say that the controls are a little mushy on the cheap switch controllers but the Ethernet access I get from being docked has me at green ping 9/10 games. If you love this game and prefer your switch over anything right now then it’s a must buy.

    The biggest problem of this game is totaly survivor sided policy of developers. if you want to play and enjoy killers, you have no chance. On this game survivors are power role and killer is staying behind. With every new patch developers nerf only killers and their perks. Last patch for example nerfed main killer perk because new survivors was "frustrated" by this killers perk.     This is not a game. It's a peace of s**t. There are so much anger and aggression in this game that it can piss off anyone who play it. It is full of toxic teams and children. If I knew I would not waste my time and money on this crap.

    Only cares about the killer side now. They graphics are pretty bad especially for 2020. The killers have large hit boxes and their accuracy too good. They need to buff decisive like at least make it selectable

    Dead By Daylight for the Nintendo Switch is a mediocre port plagued with the same performance issues and bugs as the other systems. With its own platform specific bugs as well one of which involving the rank system is borderline game breaking. And for the steep price of 40 USD its hard to recommend this version of the game over other versions.

    You guys just did a big update and now I am getting errors up the ads way more than before it’s so annoying. How hard can it be to reprogram some things? I took a video and was lucky enough to capture all the errors I get in a matter of 2 minutes and 30 seconds and I’m going to post them everywhere I can go.     Can’t recommend DBD on console, especially the Switch. You will get 20-25 FPS at best (seriously, check YouTube vids). Graphics look like they’re from 10 years ago. Controls are shoddy. You can’t realistically place this game in handheld mode. Devs have optimized PS4 or XBOX in 3 years.     One of the most miserable experiences I've had lately trying to learn an online game, particularly as the killer. Almost every match is just a miserable stomp against the killer. What the hell is seriously going on w/ this matchmaking? God awful experience, absolutely miserable and borderline will leave you in a state of depression if not anger.

    In a game that's 1 on 4 the killers should be menacing, but one of the hundreds of pallets that line each map are apparently too much for these menacing killers to handle. All the survivors need to do is just run toward any of these pallet locations, and there's literally no counterplay to it, at least as a new player, and when they drop them, chase is over and game is also pretty much over at this point. May as well just put the controller down and wait till next game, because there's no way you can win from here since there's generators spread across the entire map that you'll never be able to get to if you fail even one chase. Hell I've had plenty of games where I successfully down people 4 or 5 times and it still isn't enough ot win. The killers are an absolute joke in this game, it's no wonder no one wants to play them. You should be a god damn boss level of strength but you're about as powerful as any single survivor. You're mildly quicker than them, but since they have so many options at vaulting, palleting, or simply shining a flashlight in your eyes, you have no way to really counter that. Each killer gets one laughable power. Just a disgustingly bad game I wish I never spent time or money on this trash. Bonus points for scummy money grabs in a PAID game as well.    … Expand

    El juego es muy divertido y tiene unos gráficos decentes que en general permiten una buena experiencia. Existen algunos personajes que aún no salen por cuestiones de licencia, pero saldrán. Lo malo es que siendo un juego que hay que comprar existan micropagos y que algunos escenarios presentan bugs graves.

    Para ser un port a nintendo switch, está bastante bien logrado. Este juego los gráficos son lo de menos y en lo que llevo jugado desde que lo compré, no he experimentado lag mas que en dos ocasiones. Sin duda es un juego bastante divertido y está en constante actualización mejorando errores.

    Respecto al precio, hay que pensar que incluye cerca de 8 dlcs por lo que el precio estaría    Para ser un port a nintendo switch, está bastante bien logrado. In my personal opinion, I give this game a 5 out of 10 because I love the Dev team, the gameplay is great and exciting, but this port of the game is a waste of money at this point because of graphics, framerates, and connection to servers.     This game could be great, but unfortunately it's reputation is marred by childish mods that are power tripping on the official forums. Unfortunately BHVR has trusted their image to a group of moderators that have no idea of the optics they create by randomly banning people for posting things that are encouraging- even though the frame rates in this game are absolute garbage.

So, all things considered, I think the developers did a good job getting this game running on Switch and I commend them for that. There's a lot of survivors and killers included in this version, and honestly, a lot of the best survivors are the ones included, so if you don't want to make any purchases, you don't really have to. There's a lot of different maps so the gameplay experience never gets stale, and getting different perks and facing off against different killers/survivors is consistently engaging and fun. The sounds and music really add to the scary essence of the game, because they're subtle but can be very chilling. My one complaint with this version of the game would be the brightness. If you play in "Docked" mode, it's not really an issue, but in "Handheld" mode, some of the maps, especially the indoor ones, can be very hard to see in. I recommend you turn the brightness on your Switch all the way up if you're going to play in "Handheld" mode mainly. This game is especially fun if you have friends to play with, because if you're playing as a survivor, random teammates from online can sometimes be selfish and leave you to die on the hook. Luckily though, crossplay has been added since launch, so the queue times usually aren't bad, and you can quickly get into new matches if you lose one. If you want to play as a killer though, it doesn't really matter if you have friends on, though you can play "Custom" matches with your in-game friends, where one of you can play as killer, which is a fun little side mode. If you're looking for a great multiplayer horror game, this is an amazing option that I'd highly recommend.… Expand

    Bought this on a whim as it has a huge fan base on Twitch. Game is exhilarating as Survivor (playing as Killer is a joke as you will never win), however the graphics are horrendous, and the wait time for matches is usually over 5 minutes. Bought the cartridge and there still was an almost 15GB update needed. Skip this and get Friday the 13th, which has better graphics and less wait time.

    el juego creo que a mejorado mucho tras actualizaciones en la version de la nintendo pero en algunas partes si hay bajones de fps, los graficos estan aceptables en gameplays actuales ya que los antiguos daban mucho asco y aparte esta el sistema de croosplay que no me molesta en lo absoluto ya que en este tipo de juego que seria mas para jugar con amigos no veo tan importante la diferenciael juego creo que a mejorado mucho tras actualizaciones en la version de la nintendo pero en algunas partes si hay bajones de fps, los graficos estan aceptables en gameplays actuales ya que los antiguos daban mucho asco y aparte esta el sistema de croosplay que no me molesta en lo absoluto ya que en este tipo de juego que seria mas para jugar con amigos no veo tan importante la diferencia de 30 a 60 fps con las otra consolas… Expand

    Gameplay in Dead by Daylight depends mostly on stats, gameplay in Friday the 13th depends mostly on the skill of the player.
    Friday the 13th is a pretty good simulation of the movies, Dead by Daylight has characters from a number of different horror franchises, but they aren't really like those characters. For example, in the Nightmare on Elm Street films, Freddy Kruger does all kinds of creative stuff to kill them in their dreams, whereas in Dead by Daylight, he just grabs people and puts them on hooks (like every other killer in the game).
    However, Dead by Daylight runs more smoothly and supports cross-platform play, so that's nice.
    So yeah, I recommend this game, but its a soft recommendation.    … Expand

    While the Nintendo Switch version is lacking when compared to the other platforms, developer Behaviour Interactive has worked damn hard to fix some issues that may have occurred during the launch and it shows. But I can only recommend this version if you have no other means of playing it. If you have only a Nintendo Switch and this type of game interests you, I recommend it, maybe even with the lights out, headphones on, and volume up.

    Dead by Daylight has the groundwork for a great game but stumbles in its execution. It could be so much more with just a little more polish. Hopefully, it will inspire better products of this variety, because the concept contains a bundle of promise. Horror fans will find a lot to love - as long as they keep their expectations low. Nevertheless, for all its sins it is still quite addictive and undeniably fun, at least in the right conditions. It's easy to see how it has amassed a fanbase and warranted a port to the Switch.

    Dead by Daylight is a bit like those horror films from the 80s of the B, C, or maybe Z series: there is no shortage of flaws and they are obvious, yet its undoubted charm and some excellent results have allowed it to break through the heart of many fans, despite everything.
