    Hades, Diablo 3, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Bastion, The Binding of Isaac, Into the Breach, Enter the Gungeon, Neon Abyss, Dead Cells…these are just a few examples of games I own running at a flawless 60 fps on Switch. Many of these games are much more demanding in performance, some of them fully 3D. Most of them are less expensive than Cult of the Lamb.

    Devolver, if you don’t have the    Hades, Diablo 3, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Bastion, The Binding of Isaac, Into the Breach, Enter the Gungeon, Neon Abyss, Dead Cells…these are just a few examples of games I own running at a flawless 60 fps on Switch. Many of these games are much more demanding in performance, some of them fully 3D. Most of them are less expensive than Cult of the Lamb.

    Devolver, if you don’t have the technical chops to make your game run as it should on the Switch, please have some decency and respect for your customers, and don’t try to scam them into paying 25$ for a half baked, buggy game that can’t even maintain a proper 30 fps.

    Shame on you.

    Please make us all a favor and ignore our console. Remain on PC if you can’t code.    … Expand

    The game is fun enough, but it doesn't run on Switch. Buy on another system if you want to play this game.

    The framerates are atrocious. They go from 30 to 5 in almost every night/day transition, when anything happens thats a "cutscene" and any other time there are more than 5 things moving on the screen. I've had an issue that has happend 9 times now that you will initiate an action    The game is fun enough, but it doesn't run on Switch. Buy on another system if you want to play this game.

    I've had an issue that has happend 9 times now that you will initiate an action and the game will just sit there and lock up. The only way to continue playing is restart the game.

    Ive had 2 issues which have made me reset the entire save file over.

    Ive had to reinstall the game twice because of "corrupt data".

    Cool game, with a cool "cult management" aspect.
    Yet unplayable on switch, after mid game, you can't fight (freezes, low fps, even crash at some point)

    If you want to play, go with an Xbox of smthing else

    The game itself is great, a fun little hybrid of a rogue-like and a colony management survival game.

    However. This version is not worthy of endorsement. I gave it a few days to see if it would be patched but that has not been the case. As your cult grows the game slowly gets worse and worse framerate issues, to the point of becoming practically unplayable.     Game released on switch have bugs and is not well optimized. Also PC have version 1.0.9 when Switch still have 1.0.2 and it looks like fixing switch version is not their priority

    Unplayable in it's current state. Input lag, horrible frame rates. And if you manage to suffer through that the game is riddled with bugs. Releasing it like this with Nintendos nonexistent refund policy is nothing more than a scam.

    I am so very dissapointed with devolver. I used to see their name and insta buy. I won't be doing that again. DO NOT BUY ON SWITCH. The framerates are terrible 6-10 hours in when you're really invested. Shame on you, devolver....shame!

    The game itself 8/10 :
    The mix of base management and Rogue-like works perfectly, the universe and the visual style are very good too!

    The Switch version 0/10:
    Lags even when preparing dishes, slowdowns during fights, softlocks three times in a row on the 4th map ... I gave up on finishing the game on Switch in its current state (1.0.2)

Some of the bugs are game breaking, all the bugs are annoying, most of them force you to quit and restart the game. It is cyberpunk all over again : there is no way that the developer did not know the state of the game. Which means that they consciously decided to release it like thatNintendo Switch version.     Worst spent 25 euros in my life. After about 5 hours this game becomes absolutely unplayable. Since I had 12 followers and opened a second dungeon, there were multiple freezes, bugs that make buildings invisible for followers, screen flashes, terrible frame rate drops during cooking and fishing and crashes during boss fights.     I loved this game on Xbox Series X, so I decided to get it on Nintendo Switch. However, I do not recommend the Switch port at all. It is laggy, buggy, and unplayable. You should definitely get this game but on either PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.

    An amusing game but a completely unfinished product on the SWITCH console. I've seldom played a more buggy game, crashes and freezes at least once every time I've played it. Very poor quality control from the developer before releasing this on the Switch.     Fun game but currently so laggy it’s unplayable past mid-game. Once you have above 15 followers the game lags so hard it constantly eats your inputs and you die.. or you just freeze and the enemies have some free whacks on you

    My husband played the game on PC and really stood by it. I thought it seemed pretty cool so for my birthday he got it for me on the switch. Well, now he wishes he hadn’t. The performance issues and bugs are just abysmal. I can’t tell you how many times I went into a dungeon, progressed so far into it, only for enemies to be unkillable, enemies disappearing, or rooms blocked bc the gameMy husband played the game on PC and really stood by it.     Similarly to other players I've really enjoyed the game up to a certain point when it started lagging to badly to play. Also following an update last month my last save point is unplayable because of some kind of bug that doesn't allow me to leave the camp and erased all of my followers.     I I start by saying that the game is fun, but only on other platforms. On the switch it looks like it's an alpha version of the game. I will mention my problems with the game: the Portuguese language that is in the game description does not enable, once I had my save erased, the game crashes and has constant fps drops, I could not complete the fishing missions because I did not enable itI I start by saying that the game is fun, but only on other platforms.     But, the performance in general is bad.... unplayable in some bosses
    Fps drops, buggy menu, loading screen every mini stage, etc

    Amazing game, but unfortunately its barely even playable, huge fps drops, crashs, a lot of bugs, lag... and it gets more frustrating on the boss fights, like if you are almost defeating the boss but then the game randomly freezes and you get hit and die. dont buy the game on switch, i recommend buying the game on xbox or playstation instead. many patchs and its still laggy and buggy

    I liked the gameplay, but the state of the game made me hate the game. Poor optimization. The game has problems with memory leaks. Lags between time of day changes. The game has not received any solutions to problems for almost a month. At first I set medium difficulty. In the end, the difficulty was reduced to easy, just to get through the game faster and not see the lags.

    The game would be a fun one, unfortunately the Switch version's frame rate is extremely bad. Most of the game is laggy but barely playable, during the bosses things got worst and it's very frustrating. I hope they will hire some porting expert to make a proper release since it would be really the perfect Switch game but is really hard to suggest the current version. Wait or buy on other console.

    I bought switch version, instead of Xbox, and what I've got? Unstable 23-27fps with stutters, when there is Hades on this platform with smooth 60fps, it's unplayable, what's next? Pixel graphic games locked on 30fps with framedrops? Is switch really so weak? Or someone has hands from his back? If you're cannot deliver proper experience on the platform, do not release game on this platform

    This game is unplayable on Switch, they shouldn't have released this as it is on consoles. On PC it runs well, it got several patches already. Unfortunately the devs doesn't care about the console users, there's no patch in sight. It has bugs on PC too, so I wouldn't recommend buying this game at this time, but if you want to get it right now then buy it on PC, don't waste your money onThis game is unplayable on Switch, they shouldn't have released this as it is on consoles.     If you want this game, don't buy it on Switch, the game is very funny but have a lot of fps drops, crashes and big loadings when you hit a certain point on your adventure.

    Cult of The Lamb works so well because of how quickly the game feels. The roguelike elements never feel dragged out and too repetitive. The cult management elements never makes you feel as though you have to grind for that next upgrade. Players start the game running and never let up. There is always something in Cult of The Lamb making it an addictive title.
