Feb 24, 2022I’m glad I was able to mark these off my bucket list of games I wanted to play but never got around to. Whatever I had to sacrifice to be able to play these games on my Switch was worth it. The story of Ezio Auditore starts a little slow, but by the end of his third game I was ready to seek out the next game. Everything can feel a little outdated compared to newer entries, but as someone who has never played these games this was a great way to experience them.

Apr 25, 2022Playing The Ezio Collection is a bit like visiting a museum, especially if you look at the characters and their animations. However, these old games still have a lot of charm, and the ability to travel with Ezio to Italy or Constantinople whenever and wherever you desire is great to have.

Apr 15, 2022The action packed titles bring with them a great length of gameplay, as well as visible improvements between them. Even though the adaptation is not perfect and there are some visual choices which look questionable, any fan who wants to pick these games again or to discover them for the first time will find a great package in The Ezio Collection, which also includes two short films.

Mar 9, 2022Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection finally arrives on Nintendo consoles with some compromises too many to accept. Ezio's saga is splendid but unfortunately the weight of the years is felt.

Mar 2, 2022Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection on Switch features three great games to play on the go, but there're some performance issues that hold it back.

Feb 25, 2022Despite everything, the epic of Ezio Auditore should be approached with a philological spirit and a romantic soul, and we are sure that after all the charm and charisma of the Florentine protagonist will conquer you once again.

Feb 23, 2022Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection contains of a trilogy of great Assassin’s Creed games that remind players why Ezio and his games are the most celebrated within the fandom. The gameplay mechanics function just as they did in the original releases which is a double-edged sword of authenticity and nostalgia going against modernized quality-of-life improvements. While these are great games and should be played by all Assassin’s Creed fans, there are unfortunately concessions mentioned above that hold this back from being the definitive collection. The only real reason to recommend this version over the PlayStation 4/Xbox One version is the portability factor.

Feb 23, 2022Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is a great compilation of some of the series’ most highly-regarded entries. Aside from some combat that lacks depth and a convoluted story, each of the three games included here are absolutely worthy of your time. There’s still plenty of fun to be had if this is your first set of Assassin’s Creed games, with the cities still managing to impress with their sense of scale and historical detail, but some of the dated gameplay elements and glitches may make other entries a better jumping off point. The Rebel Collection is a very fine alternative if you want slightly more modern interpretations of the series, with a seafaring bent. However, if you’re already a fan and are able to tolerate its foibles — old and new — Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is an enjoyable trip into (video game) history and an easy recommendation.

Feb 18, 2022While the port to Nintendo's console isn't perfect, Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection still features impressive performance without too much compromise. The Switch version is a must-have for fans without other consoles, but some technical issues might push some players to the collection's PlayStation or Xbox version instead.

Feb 24, 2022The Ezio Collection for the Switch reminds us of how far the Assassin's Creed series has come. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that these games are now available on Nintendo, this compilation does not bring anything essentially new or correct the six-year-old problems brought about by the original remasters.

Feb 21, 2022The port of Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection for the Nintendo Switch is good, and works quite well, but the games do show their age - Which is a shame, because Ubisoft should've enhanced them a bit. Not graphically mind you, but mechanically.

Feb 16, 2022Assassin’s Creed II is a great game and this is the only way to play it on the Nintendo Switch, and it’s a good enough way to do it. To simply explore Renaissance Florence while on the bus or lying in bed is a real treat. If that’s what you want, that’s what you’ll get.

May 4, 2022A mess of bugs and glitches in miserable 30 fps with - I'm not kidding - input lag. Never touch; buy an old gaming laptop and play PC version instead.
