    Very fun game, I’ve spent over 300 hours playing it but even so a lot of things could be and SHOULD be improved

    This is a solid Animal Crossing game, but it lacks a lot of content the others had. By the time the updates came out I had fallen off of it, wish the content was there at launch.

    The game, as a representative of the Animal Crossing series, offers interesting gameplay and is highly addictive. New Horizons offers wonderful graphic style, countless possibilities of modifying the island and highly controversial multiplayer aspect.     Playing slowly every day, my ultimate goal is to get either Ankha or Marshall as a villager. Better both at the same time. I catch butterflies, communicate with the inhabitants, a very good game as an addition to something else.

    The best Animal Crossing game I have played. I've played other Animal Crossing games before, but this one tops out as the best. You get to relax on an island while doing other tasks for Tom Nook and Isabelle. The new DLC they released recently is very cool and the fact that you can carry the new features you did there to your island is awesome.     I absolutely love Animal Crossing New Horizons. The graphics are gorgeous and I have fond memories of creating my custom island through quarantine. However, I can't say this game is better than New Leaf. Once I got burned out, I really got burned out. I never had that problem with New Leaf. If I went back to New Leaf, I would love it. If I came back to New Horizons, I'd be terrified toI absolutely love Animal Crossing New Horizons. The graphics are gorgeous and I have fond memories of creating my custom island through quarantine. If I came back to New Horizons, I'd be terrified to open the tab. The reason why New Horizons felt dry after a while was because the game didn't do anything new when I unlocked K K Slider. After that you get terraforming which is really nice. I used terraforming for a couple days, I got content with my island's layout and that was it. However, don't take this review as me disliking the game because I clearly don't. It's so beautiful and relaxing and I'd recommend it highly for fans.… Expand

    This game is boring. All you do is fish and talk to annoying villagers while collecting every single thing because I can't just sell something I might want to use it later. That being said this is the best game ever.

    It's a fun game, see the island evolving, chat with characters and etc. The problem is that you have to wait long times to get better in the game, also, you get borred some time, so, don't get ACNH as your 1st game, but if you alredy have a game, buy it if it's ok to you wait 2 days to a in-game thing get done (sometimes) buy it.

    This game looks a bit cute for adults to play like most Nintendo games, however the gameplay is totally awesome and extremely addictive! Nintendo has put a LOT of work into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the amount of thought and detail put into the game is truly amazing, it's very highly polished and, totally bug free (coding wise lol), and looks incredible on the Switch OLED screen.This game looks a bit cute for adults to play like most Nintendo games, however the gameplay is totally awesome and extremely addictive! Nintendo has put a LOT of work into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the amount of thought and detail put into the game is truly amazing, it's very highly polished and, totally bug free (coding wise lol), and looks incredible on the Switch OLED screen. This is a MUST BUY if you own a Switch, it's a masterpiece! The only negatives I can say about the game is 1) you can it get involved in online play unless you know someone else with the game 2) it would be good if the graphics became transparent if your character is hidden behind a cliff, house or tree.… Expand

    This is a amazing game with plenty of fun to be had! But the issue comes if you started with the game where it becomes less appealing and more of a chore to play and hard to come back too and almost overwhelming with there now being lots of weeds and new features! Overall its a fun game i just wish the game came out with all the content at the start rather than adding them later

    Este es un Animal Crossing a la altura de los demás juegos de la franquicia, con diferentes experiencias de juego. Un juego muy carismático, aunque a veces se siente como un trabajo jugarlo en vez de relajarte. Pero si nunca has jugado a esta saga, te recomiendo probarlo ¡¡Es un buen título!!

    I haven't really played this game in quite some time. It really got me through parts of 2020, being a very relaxing town-building/decorating game. Visiting other people's islands is a nice feature and I have a lot of great memories because of it, but it would be foolish to say the online is good. The lack of updates has been disappointing for someone who really liked filling out the museum with fish, art, insects, and fossils. Design features for the museum and additional artifacts to collect would definitely bring me back, but it seems they have no interest. If you enjoy a slow-paced relaxing experience with plenty of design options this game is definitely for you though. I had a lot of fun with this and the free DLC through switch online is actually pretty great if you like decorating.

    Negative points for the single island "feature" though. It's still a baffling decision, like why not allow accounts the option to choose between joining an old island and making a new one?    … Expand

    It's frustrating how this is simultaneously the best entry in the series while still lacking a ton of features that made the others so great. I can say I've sunk over 400 hours into New Horizons alone, which is far more than what can be said for any in the series since the original. New Leaf is cool, but can you play it on a TV? Nope.

    While a wonderful experience, I feel this game is incomplete without some of the quality of life changes that were made in the previous game. While you will no doubt find yourself pulled into this experience for 100 hours or so, at the end, you may feel it shallow. I was 32 and thought it wasn’t for me but I gave it a go and 250 hours later I can definitely say I’m a fan of this franchise now. I love the creativity it affords you. I love sport so I made a soccer field and a sports store with custom jerseys. I visited other people to get all the fruit.     El hecho de poder terraformar tu isla y hacer literalmente lo que tú quieras te da mucha libertad y, sobre todo, alarga el juego hasta horas infinitas. Por otro lado, el hecho de que tenga fácilmente más de 20000 objetos para decorar hace que el nivel de personalización que ofrece sea enorme.

    I love the game it is extremely relaxing and fun! Can be quite hard to find items but trading sites like nookazon make it easy! It can be a wee hit grindy tho! But thats fine cuz in quartine it helped pass the time!

    It's nice and fun the first few hours, when you spend more than 10/15 hours depending on the rhythm it becomes repetitive and boring (in my case obviously). There comes a point where the only thing you can do every day is go in, take the fruits and go out, on the fifth day you stop going in. Beyond that, collecting fish or bugs is fun if you like to collect, you can also spend time decorating your island or your house, yes, it is an activity for a very specific audience.     The memories this game and I share are some of the best gaming memories I've ever had, period. I can never truly dismis this game for that alone, and I still enjoy hoping back on it from time to time with friends online. Truly one of the best animal crossing games, not as good as new leaf, but still a good time.

    Animal Crossing New Horizons is basically perfect. Full of wholesome content that helped us cope with the COVID-19 pandemics, the game keeps the heart of its predecessors while innovating enough to make it unique. It may not have won Game of the Year but it'll be the game we all remember from 2020, for sure.

    Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a stunning new instalment in the Animal Crossing franchise, hindered only by its lack of immediate content, quality of life issues and missing returning characters and features While future updates will give the game long-term playability, for those already sipping vacation juice on their five-star islands, island life feels pretty mundane right now.
