Apr 18, 2020Don’t buy if you want to play with more than 1 person. Trash experience as second player
-
Apr 18, 2020Disgraceful that if you want a 2nd island for someone else to have their own save game you have to buy a 2nd console - this is EA levels of daylight robbery. Sort it out Nintendo!!!!!
-
Apr 18, 2020If you are the first person is great, but if you want to share it with your family is awful. The main person gets all the missions and tools, but the others cannot help you with another account. Really bad!

Apr 17, 2020One island, one switch... Fine. I guess me and my girlfriend can have a cute co-op experience. Oh what's that? I can't progress the game unless my girlfriend continues for me? Why?

Apr 17, 2020Unable to visit other people’s islands. I get some kind of error it won’t let me visit friend’s islands and they can’t come to mine. This was marketed as a social experience and I can’t engage with the one feature I bought the game for. Nintendo won’t allow a refund, BUYER BEWARE!!!

Apr 17, 2020There are 4 of us in our household. Only 1 can play the game. Absolute garbage.

Apr 17, 20200 for forcing players to share an island for no other reason than to encourage multiple console purchases. games have had multiple save file slots for virtually all of gaming history. there is no explanation other than greed.

Apr 17, 2020Very sad to find out the second player is like a slave for the first player. I have to stop playing until this gets fixed. Really disappointed.

Apr 17, 2020If you have multiple people in your home, you'll need another console to have their own island. I didn't know Nintendo was turning into EA but this is bulls**t.

Apr 1, 2020One island is not enough! Why would you make it to where I can only have one island when I have a full household of people wanting to play? Fix this NOW!

Apr 17, 2020The game is fun but can be a bit boring if you are not skipping days (cheating) but it is very fun and addictive if you do skip days and complete missions. The bad side is that you need to log in every day (like most animal crossing games).
Mostly recommended in the quarantine. -

Dec 19, 2020Animal Crossing New Horizons is basically perfect. Full of wholesome content that helped us cope with the COVID-19 pandemics, the game keeps the heart of its predecessors while innovating enough to make it unique. It may not have won Game of the Year but it'll be the game we all remember from 2020, for sure.

Jun 22, 2020Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a stunning new instalment in the Animal Crossing franchise, hindered only by its lack of immediate content, quality of life issues and missing returning characters and features While future updates will give the game long-term playability, for those already sipping vacation juice on their five-star islands, island life feels pretty mundane right now.

CD-ActionMay 12, 2020It’s full of detail, pretty small things, and surprisingly well working simulations and systems – everything polished in such a way that the player really does care about everything that’s going on. [06/2020, p.40]
