With a great system of matching symbols in order to chat and flirt and a world in which a different life can be dictated for your Sim each time you start a new game, The Sims 2 is great fun and game that'll last you ages.
-
AceGamezThere are things like loading times that can annoy from time to time, and the graphical blurs can be a pain, but the amount of gameplay and content here is fantastic, and to be able to customise your house's interior on the move in full 3D really does appeal.

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UKRather than port the PS2 game, The Sims 2 on PSP is a tailor-made experience that hooks you early on and doesn't let go. A superb game. [Jan 2006, p.112]
-
A charming PSP game that doesn’t lack most of the familiar gameplay elements while adding some fresh ones but then again its most troublesome glitches are just too bothersome to ignore.
-
The addition of perks and secrets, not to mention mini-games and the sanity meter, help keeps things fresh. The coolest change blends a focused, genuinely funny story with the open-ended gameplay that fans have come to love.
-
PSM MagazineAs enjoyable as it is bizarre, carried off mostly thanks to the patented Sims humor and skewed worldview. [Feb 2006, p.85]
