It may sound like a wacky premise, but if you like odd games with a special Japanese flavor, youll love this one.
-
Just as "Devil Dice" and "Intelligent Qube" showed that originality can still flourish in the puzzle genre, One Piece Mansion provides a welcome respite from the newest "been there, done that" version of Tetris or Bust-a-Move.
-
While not absolutely groundbreaking, the gameplay is really quite fresh.
-
Unfortunately, the game doesnt maintain any long-term interest: defusing problems and room-swapping tenants are more work than fun and the process becomes tiresome after the third stage or so.
-
While the gameplay is refreshingly unique (albeit confusing at first), the game itself is terribly short.
-
The Story mode lacks a story, the only other mode sucks, and without a friend to play against the game is just too repetitive to be worth buying.
-
Why have Capcom produced a game that once you've played it, you wont want to pick up ever again?...This is rubbish!
