The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is my go-to game when I want something familiar but new. Detach yourself from the subject matter and it's great dungeon-crawler with lots of replayability.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a retro stylized, bullet hell shooter. It uses random elements to change enemies, maxes, power-ups and bosses. I can only assume that if you are reading this, you are already aware of the game and just need some opinions on the product.

It looks and feels just like the PC version, with a few obvious problems that keep it from getting a perfect score. For

It looks and feels just like the PC version, with a few obvious problems that keep it from getting a perfect score. For starters, the controls can become wonky at times, even using the twin sticks, there has been a few times Isaac would shoot in a direction I didn't want him to, this can be alleviated using the Vita's buttons instead, but makes shooting overall harder.

On the topic of controls, pills and some powerups require you to touch the screen, which distracts from the overall gameplay. Meanwhile, R1 is completely unused.

The game also suffers from slow downs depending on how full the screen is. Although some players will see this as an advantage, not a hinderance.

Overall, it's not the best port.
