    A really good game, fun gameplay and mechanics well thinking, an interesting history and music with a feels that valkyrie feels and really good sensations.

Its strong point is the combat system full of mechanics ranging from basic to advanced.     Aside from the rough camera controls this is a solid game. If you're looking for a JRPG with good combat, mindless fun, and a series that has always had great storytelling then ignore the bad reviews. It's most likely someone who was salty over another PlayStation exclusive that didn't make it's way to Xbox.

    I think with this game you really need to know what to expect. I thoroughly enjoy the combat, the summons and the overall pacing of the game. However, it isn't very long and the price seems a bit steep. However, if you are looking for a very solid and flash action RPG this one is great and it had a really nice story and cast of characters

    very good game, I don't understand how people don't like this masterpiece, I love its dynamic gameplay. The storytelling it's not the best but the gameplay is simply AWASOME. Definitely it is one of the best game releases by Square Enix last 2 years. I guess people don't understand this game because maybe were expected an OPEN WORLD or something like that, finally I need recommend thisvery good game, I don't understand how people don't like this masterpiece, I love its dynamic gameplay. Classy, ​​relaxing and melancholic are the key words that define Valkyrie Elysium, a very punchy and twirling action rpg, more beat them all old school than rpg, and it works wonderfully! The PS5 version runs in 4K / 60fps and benefits from a beautiful display finesse, which highlights the penciled aesthetics proposed by the developers. After a very successful SamuraiHuge crush on me.     Really a 7.5 but countering some of the review bombs. Solid action game with a Valkyrie profile cost of paint. Highlights of the game are the combat and cel shaded graphics.

    Awsome action game , with flowing brutal combat and fascinating story. The visual are a but rough in places, but character models and animation are top tier. Best action game of the gen along with Strangers of Paradise.

    Thoughts-
    If you haven’t picked up on it yet, Valkyrie Elysium is definitely not your classic Valkyrie game. It’s completely reinvented for better and for worse. I have my gripes, and you probably will too, but ultimately the game works out quite nicely for what it’s trying to be. Tonally, old fans might notice some whispers of Valkyrie Profile’s spirit here and there, but for the most part it’s going to require a completely different mindset. For those that are willing to take that leap of faith, you’ll be rewarded more often than not. And for those who just love a good hack ‘n slash action RPG, Valkyrie Elysium delivers a lively, appealing, and engaging one that doesn’t require a deep understanding of the previous games to enjoy. Hopefully Square Enix will support this new direction for the IP further with a sequel that tells a deeper story and gives us more elaborate levels to explore, but until then, this is a damn fine example of the genre and easily one of 2022’s best action games.    … Expand

    I was very excited when Valkyrie Elysium came out. Unfortunately I was fairly disappointed. The game felt less like am immersive action rpg and more like a hack and slash. There was not a big enough world, too few npcs and it felt like everything and everyone was an enemy you have to kill . Because you teleport between missions there was a serious lack of continuity in the world. MI was very excited when Valkyrie Elysium came out. Unfortunately I was fairly disappointed. The game felt less like am immersive action rpg and more like a hack and slash. There was not a big enough world, too few npcs and it felt like everything and everyone was an enemy you have to kill . Because you teleport between missions there was a serious lack of continuity in the world. M biggest gripe was the story being really vague, average and uncreative. God of War, a game I don’t e like , did a far better job with mqking a deep and compelling story set in the world of norse mythology. The game did have amazing graphics and fun… Expand

    Un juego que continua el espíritu de los Valkyrie Profile pero con algunas modificaciones y defectos.
    Primeramente se trata de un juego AA, con lo que ello conlleva, el típico pack, escenarios grandes y poco detallados. Las historias de los Einheriar están desarrolladas con audio y texto y hay muy pocos respecto a otros Valkyrie Profile. Fuera de estos problemas, lo demás está muy bien,    Un juego que continua el espíritu de los Valkyrie Profile pero con algunas modificaciones y defectos.
    Primeramente se trata de un juego AA, con lo que ello conlleva, el típico pack, escenarios grandes y poco detallados. Las historias de los Einheriar están desarrolladas con audio y texto y hay muy pocos respecto a otros Valkyrie Profile. Fuera de estos problemas, lo demás está muy bien, banda sonora buena, historia en el tono de los demás, artísticamente luce bien con muy buenos diseños de personajes y monstruos. Pero lo más destacado es su sistema de progresión y jugabilidad que llegan a ser excelentes y muy adictivos. Un gran sistema de combate con combos, magia y habilidades con una dificultad bien ajustada. Si le hubieran puesto ilustraciones, aunque fueran estáticas, para contar las historias de los Einheriar y más cantidad de Einheriar el juego hubiera sido notablemente mejor pero con lo que tiene la nota que le doy es un 7,5. Teniendo en cuenta el anunciado DLC gratuito con un personaje más, más dificultades y el Seraphic Gate le subo a un 8.    … Expand

Valkyrie Elisium umut benim için keyifli bir oyun, fakat beklentim yüksekti bu oyunda çünkü ps2 de valkyrie profile oynamıştım ve çok beğenmiştim, çoğu kişi grafikleri ekşi olarak eleştirdi fakat grafikler benim için gayet tadminkar, ben ekşi olarak karakterin kamera açısı olarak ekrana uzak durduğunu söyleyebilirim, başka birşey ekipman geliştirmesi yetersiz ve çok kısa sürüyor başka ekşisi zırh ve silah çeşitliliği çok az, kutulardan çok boş item çıkıyor bunun yanında oyunu gerçekten çok beğendim. Grafik tarzı oyuna çok güzel uygulanmış.… Expand

    I took the time to get every ending in Hard difficulty and had a great time. Combat was fun, the combo system was addicting, I loved the Einjerhar assists, some solid boss fights too.

    Story isn’t going to blow your mind but I didn’t think it was bad, just a little straight forward. If you’re a fan of the action RPG genre, give it a shot. I mostly bought the game for its combat and I    I took the time to get every ending in Hard difficulty and had a great time.     Even not being like past games (turn based) i liked of this action style. The only thing i miss is levelling system. Good soundtrack and graphic style is good. Some choices will disappoint many fans of the franchise, but i'm a fan too and i liked them in general.

    Valkyrie Elysium’s world and characters based on Norse mythology are fascinating, and its speedy combat is exhilarating. It’s too bad that the title feels like it could have used a little more polish, and the button mapping doesn’t match the game’s systems. The game lacks a bit in volume as well, and its world and characters could have been fleshed out even more.

    I was excited going into Valkyrie Elysium because of what I had heard about the series. While after my time with it that excitement certainly has dulled, not because of the combat but just because everything around it just kind of felt ‘meh’. If the world was more populated or at the very least more interesting there would be much more here to really sink one’s teeth into, as it stands once players are done doing Odin’s bidding they will find little reason to return in my opinion.

    Valkyrie Elysium brings the series into the modern era, even though the story is rough, and the levels are a bit bland. I want to see more of this, but hopefully with some of the more major faults fixed.
