May 22, 2026Tides of Tomorrow offers a unique take on asymmetrical multiplayer, making players genuinely feel how the actions of others shape the experience, just as their own choices influence the journeys of future players. Its charming visuals also perfectly sell the Waterworld-inspired aesthetic. Unfortunately, the experience is dragged down by an unremarkable overarching objective and gameplay that lacks any real depth.

May 18, 2026Tides of Tomorrow is a special game. The fact that you’re playing almost literally in someone else’s footsteps is not only a clever concept but also incredibly well executed. If we’re being really strict, we could call Tides of Tomorrow a one-trick pony. But if that one trick works so well, there’s really nothing wrong with that. It’s a shame that the story and the environment aren’t up to the same standard, but we still have a lot of respect for what the French studio Digixart has created here.
