    I met The Quarry on PS4, but the platform clearly did not reveal the possibilities of the game. On PS5, the game really looks much better graphically, plus the console now does not make noise as if it is taking off. Both The Quarry remained quite average even against the background of previous Supermassive Games.     Game has its flaws, everybody agrees on that, so chill. Overall it brings that great sweet feeling of thrill and satisfaction upon finishing and countless times throughout the chapters.
    I only wish there would be more qtes and more input variations/combinations during qtes, therefore more action and challenging scenes. I liked the story and its twists.     Yeah, I think people are too **** about this game. it's probably not as good as Until Dawn, but it's my favourite interactive drama for the complexity of all the different actions you can take during a playthrough. Graphically, the game is what you would expect: near perfection in facial expressions and incredibly detailed graphics. The only thing that is a little lackluster is the ending (and I don't mean one specific ending, I mean the ending sequence), but you can still have a very satisfying one depending on the choices you make. It's just great, forget the negativity they're throwing at The Quarry and just play it as blind as you can. I did, and now i'm playing it for the third time.… Expand

    If you're a fan of Until Dawn you'll like this game. Yes, the mechanics are the same but these games are great for the story.

    Only cons that I could thing of:
    * The characters make stupid decisions sometimes
    * The enemy is revealed too soon

    Jeśli grałeś w Until Dawn i inne tego typu gry i dobrze się bawiłeś, The Quarry też powinno Ci się spodobać. Nie jest to może najlepsza gra tego typu w jaką grałem ale napewno warta przejścia. Polecam.

    I love games and I want to say that The quarry is very good, the only negative is rather weak optimization. More games of this genre.

    Overall I enjoyed The Quarry. In particular the visuals and sound effects are really impressive and atmospheric. The decision system works really well, you never see the joins as they stitch together the different scenes and dialogue. It's a compelling story and setting. A section in and around a police station was the highlight, given its closer focus on a smaller number of characters andOverall I enjoyed The Quarry.     Some of the characters were annoying, (Ryan in particular), but that comes with the territory with Supermassive Games, and to be honest it's kind of part of the charm.

    The ending was a real anticlimax. It ended very abruptly and there was barely any pay off from the relationships built during the game. The game hinted throughout that there would be a confrontation with police at the end, this doesn't happen. You're just rewarded with a "podcast" to listen to over the end credits. Disappointed.     Holy **** i adored this way more than I thought I would. It's intense, exciting, spooky. It fixed literally all the issues I had with Until Dawn. The characters in this game felt way more real and likeable than the UD ones. I found myself genuinely hoping I could save them and some scenes had my heart racing when I trying to save them from harm. The mechanics are great, and I loved how theHoly **** i adored this way more than I thought I would. It's intense, exciting, spooky. It fixed literally all the issues I had with Until Dawn. The characters in this game felt way more real and likeable than the UD ones. I found myself genuinely hoping I could save them and some scenes had my heart racing when I trying to save them from harm. The mechanics are great, and I loved how the choice/consequence narrative actually matters in this game, in the long run. Easily my favourite game of the year.… Expand

    Finally we get a game that feels like a sequel to Until Dawn..Sexy co eds , cute college girls, creepy setting, all the elements to a great horror is here...Unfortunately all the trash Dark pictures games, with their bad casting , ugly femist female casting and dopy stories has butchered this Studios reputation, so it not surprising this great game hasn't quite received the greatFinally we get a game that feels like a sequel to Until Dawn..Sexy co eds , cute college girls, creepy setting, all the elements to a great horror is here...Unfortunately all the trash Dark pictures games, with their bad casting , ugly femist female casting and dopy stories has butchered this Studios reputation, so it not surprising this great game hasn't quite received the great reception it deserves.     This is a game that not everyone will enjoy, and that is fine.
    Personally I think that this is the best "decisions based horror game".
    If you liked Until Dawn or you think that making decisions for your characters and creating your own story in a mysterious summer camp sounds fun, then this game is for you.

    I actually loved everything about The Quarry game, and it doesn't need to be a scary to be still a good game, well written, with great graphics and interesting characters. 10 out of 10 from me.

    It's amazing game, despite on some problems I love it and played it twice, only thing I regret is absence of endings we just know what happened with everyone

    Excellent game, I loved every second of it. However, I hope they fix that motion blurr problem, it is really annoying especialy during day time. There are long chapters with lots of dialogues that make the replayability a bit tedious. Lastly I can't recommend buying this for 89,99$ Cad. Wait for a sale and enjoy this amazing game.

    Most fun I've had with a Supermassive game since Until Dawn. Loved the teen vibe, teen horror movies are my favourite so I had a great time throughout.

    Amazing story, similar to Until Dawn a little too much, though. The characters were mostly likable and the game really picked up in the second half. Only complaint is that its a pretty short game for $70. I really did enjoy it and going back to find a few more endings, but still wish I waited for a sale. 100% would recommend if you catch it on sale.

    As a fan of Until Dawn, I was very excited for this entry. I feel like my expectations were met, but there certain aspects of the game that could have been better.
    Pros:
    - Amazing, almost cinematic graphics - Multiple ways of gameplay, play with your friends, or watch the game in a movie mode - Multiple paths depending on choice, ending is really affected by the player, replayability    As a fan of Until Dawn, I was very excited for this entry. I feel like my expectations were met, but there certain aspects of the game that could have been better.
    Pros:
    - Amazing, almost cinematic graphics
    - Multiple ways of gameplay, play with your friends, or watch the game in a movie mode
    - Multiple paths depending on choice, ending is really affected by the player, replayability is good therefore
    - The tarot card system and the fortune teller lady (whom name I won't reveal here) is something I really loved
    Cons:
    - Some characters feels unnecessary, character development is bit poor
    - Early chapters might feel boring to some, the pacing is weird
    - The true ending felt a little underwhelming

    While not as good as Until Dawn, I think those who love story and choice driven games, will like this entry as well.    … Expand

    The Quarry does a fine job as a spiritual successor to the renowned Until Dawn, yet takes a few steps forward when it comes to character development and atmosphere building. Unfortunately, it sacrifices a few elements in the process which makes it a not so scary interactive movie more than a video game. Still, for lovers of the genre and Supermassive Games legacy – it’s a treat you should not miss.

    This game, or interactive movie if you prefer, is a great experience for horror fans. The story, gameplay (minimalistic as it is) and the acting are some of the best I've seen in this genre yet. While there are some things that do break the immersion, it's still an experience for lovers of visual novels and horror fans alike.

    The Quarry sits comfortably near the top of the interactive movie genre. Equal parts clever and terrifying, it earns its ten-hour runtime with a series of twists and turns that are sure to delight. There’s action, romance, comedy, and unbelievably disgusting violence. Supermassive Games have delivered a rollercoaster that serves as a fabulous follow-up to Until Dawn, so anyone who enjoys the genre will be in for one hell of a ride.
