If you like Skyrim, as I do, then don't worry because absolutely nothing has changed (most bugs and exploits are still in the game 2 full console generations and 5 game iterations later, so no worries there).

I've looked at some of the "critics" reviews and I've got to say, only the shills will try to spin paid mods into a positive. yes, they do add content, made by fans who likely care

I've looked at some of the "critics" reviews and I've got to say, only the shills will try to spin paid mods into a positive. yes, they do add content, made by fans who likely care more about the game than Bethesda themselves, unfortunately it's still them you'll have to pay for the privilege.
Since it's running on Bethesda's spaghetti, bug filled code, the creation club content will sometimes crash, sometimes soft lock, or straight up not work. (I've only downloaded the ones you get with the anniversary edition by default and still ran into this issue).

    Playstation 5 positives:

The only change you will notice isn't brought on by Bethesda, but is the sheer speed of the loading which is entirely made possible by the power of the ssd (I Imagine playing on a high end PC gets you the same experience) There are obviously still loading screens but if you're used to the ps3 and ps4's excruciating loading times where you are on your phone/other monitor every couple of minutes, it's a welcome change.

It's okay but not that much of a difference from the original.

Shame there isn't a new Elder Scrolls game for PS5 release, would of been nice.

On the PS4 it really is worth upgrading to Aniversary edition since mods were not a thing before. But on PC you could already have a ton of more mods availabe to you. Plus it crashed your game when it was released. It was recently patched from Bethesda. On a PS4 pro it gets a 10/10 from me, but on PC it does not make much of a difference and looks like just another cash grab from Bethesda. On the PS4 it really is worth upgrading to Aniversary edition since mods were not a thing before. The performance upgrades make this a fantastic way to experience Skyrim for the first time, but slim content additions won’t enamour returning players. [Issue#9, p.76]

Skyrim’s 10th anniversary edition is a rich and polished package, offering over hundred hours of top class RPG experience. If you never got the chance to play it back in 7th generation, now is the best time to do it.

What was once the pinnacle of its genre has become a bit of a joke as it releases again and again and again. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition adds very little that can’t be found in the 2016 Special Edition or is already free with Creation Club content. There is enjoyment to be had out of playing the game in the new survival mode and I still adore the base game. However, Skyrim just isn’t as strong when held up to modern standards, and it is the fault of Bethesda that this tired horse is now running a race with so many others that are leagues faster.
