    The character moves and turns too slow and feels clunky. Focussed on Melee, shooting is more for finishig the enemies. No Map, and a very very bad save system. I don't finished this game because the Bossfights aren't fun. But it has nice graphics

    Paid homage to so many different games it ran out of cash to buy itself an identity. Very pretty but story and gameplay leave so much to be desired

    Ну, и что это за херня!? Я хотел поиграть в хоррор, а не в дарксоулс!! Основной сюжет еще так себе, а вот DLC это полное разочарование! Враги практически не убиваемые первый минибосс тот, что типа робот вообще не обиваемый зато он персонажа убивает с двух ударов. Разве это хоррор от которого игрок должен пугаться, а не что бы его бомбило от неубиваемых врагов!!Ну, и что это за херня!? Я хотел поиграть в хоррор, а не в дарксоулс!! Основной сюжет еще так себе, а вот DLC это полное разочарование! Враги практически не убиваемые первый минибосс тот, что типа робот вообще не обиваемый зато он персонажа убивает с двух ударов. Разве это хоррор от которого игрок должен пугаться, а не что бы его бомбило от неубиваемых врагов!!

    Basically, a low-budget dead space, without the creativity, really difficult to master, the combat is ridiculous, and the amount of ammo, etc is nonexistent.
    Trying to run away without Auto dodging is stupid as hell, and stealth is impossible vs moving zombies.

    Hugest disappointment of PS5 so far. It's just a crappy game with cool graphics. It's horribly linear, you can't even return to previous points, only where the game wants you to. The control is probably the worst I have tried on PS5, at some points it simply doesn't obbey you.     The worst gameplay ever! Pacing sucks and level design was horrible and where the hell is the loot??? I never had any credits for any of my weapon upgrades the story is completely ****

    Super disappointed was looking forward to this. It’s not scary at all. It’s not a horror survival game either, it’s more a 3 person shooter you constantly get items and ammo it’s so boring. And enemies predictably jump out at you constantly. You never feel tension or feel uneasy, alien isolation did this perfectly. And what made that game scary was you didn’t fight a lot of enemies but youSuper disappointed was looking forward to this. It’s not scary at all. It’s not a horror survival game either, it’s more a 3 person shooter you constantly get items and ammo it’s so boring. And enemies predictably jump out at you constantly. You never feel tension or feel uneasy, alien isolation did this perfectly. And what made that game scary was you didn’t fight a lot of enemies but you hid and heard the enemy but it’s not scary anymore after killing the 100th enemy like in this awful game with these bad fighting mechanics. Same jump scares over and over and this ballsack thing with long neck getting you over and over with same animation. And the Walmart version of clickers are a joke you can even bump into them and silent kill them all as long as you stay crouched this is beyond broken and not scary at all, this game is a joke. Gameplay is clunky and stiff and repetitive. And the HDR is a broken washed out mess which is not the best for a “horror”game if you want to make it scary when blacks are grey even on an Oled. Characters are bland and writing is bad. Story is bad too. Only reason this pos would deserve 1 point would be because of graphics that’s it. This Game - HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Not worth $70… Expand

    This should be a game I love, but terrible pacing , awkward combat and just bad game play design makes the game unlikable. Glen Scofield is over rated. Dead Space 1 was mid at best, it was Dead Space 2 that was the Masterpeice and sold well. And Scofield had nothing to do with 2.     i was looking forward to this game even with the not so great reviews so when i got the game at 50% off i thought it wouldn't be so bad but boy was i wrong. How on earth did the developers get this whole combat mechanic approved?? i've been an avid gamer for over 30 years and it is by far the most dismal clunkiest combat system ever. you can barely move when you're engaged with an enemyi was looking forward to this game even with the not so great reviews so when i got the game at 50% off i thought it wouldn't be so bad but boy was i wrong.     I thought EA will fk up the dead space remake, and Calisto will be our new Sci Fi horror king of the hill, ohh how wrong was i, this game is terrible in everything except graphics. And Dead Space remake meanwhile is just casually a masterpiece.

    The game story is good and the level and map design is beautiful and it plays great in standard mode but the combat is awful even on the easiest difficulty with accessibility options the game is simply almost unplayable when it comes to trying to switch weapons or break away from multiple enemies. Screw this game

    First of all, Glen Schofield promised us that this game was going to be TERRIFYING and fun.
    I didn't find it fun neither scary, why?
    1.- Lack of enemies. 2.- No jumpscares. 3.- Weak environment (not disturbing at all) 4.- Soundtrack was not creepy. 5.- Gameplay is predictable and slow.     BELOW, Survive the Platform Ride - just before boss I healed myself and reloaded my weapon. Boss killed me. Sequence restarted with boss cutscene and myself with no ammo in weapon and very low health - status from before boss sequence. That's it for me I have enough of **** like that - 0/10 game. Won't buy any more of your **** KRAFTON. We're done.

    Utterly awful. I was toying buying the dead space remake and thought it would be nice to play something original instead. The Callisto protocol manages to rip everything from dead space and make it worse. Bland, claustrophobic (in a bad way) environments, dull repetitive architecture, awful gameplay mechanics. It’s insulting that this saw the light of day.

    Très bon jeu :
    graphismes au top, ambiance sonore travaillée et irréprochable.
    le gameplay est déroutant au départ mais on s'y fait au bout d'une heure, même si c'est vrai que c'est un peu limité.
    C'est un jeu d'ambiance horrifique avec ses défauts mais pour un 1er jeu c'est franchement très réussi, j'espère une suite !

    It looks good That's about it though. Stories of jarring mess in every way. Combat is a glitchy mess. And the greatest sin of all is it's not a horror game in the slightest even though it was advertised as the heir apparent to dead space.

    Yeah, I hate this game. Which sucks, because I love Dead Space and the people who made that made this game. First off is the combat. The gunplay itself is fine and the GRP is cool feature, but the melee combat in this game is absolutely clunky. Even if you are trying to run away from an enemy, if they attack you, you get locked into the melee animation and usually get hit. It’sYeah, I hate this game. Which sucks, because I love Dead Space and the people who made that made this game. First off is the combat. The gunplay itself is fine and the GRP is cool feature, but the melee combat in this game is absolutely clunky. Even if you are trying to run away from an enemy, if they attack you, you get locked into the melee animation and usually get hit. It’s frustrating, not to mention completely repetitive considering there isn’t a lot of enemy variety. The level design is boring as well. It’s completely linear which isn’t a totally bad thing, but besides some hazards they never do anything interesting with it. It doesn’t help that half the time you squeeze through corridors, crawling through vents, or climbing ladders. I will say though that the graphics and presentation are really great. The attention to is absolutely insane. I also love the atmosphere and vibe of the game. It does indeed remind me of Dead Space. The death animations are also really gory to the point where Japan had to ban the game from their country. That’s how you know it’s crazy violent. Now honestly this game would’ve been a 5/10, but what pisses me off the most is that the devs have the gall to leave the game on a cliffhanger for future DLC. You barely deserve the $70 and now you want extra $$$ to finish the story. Oh hell no. It’s not even that good of a story. It’s insanely predictable.… Expand

    For a game that’s supposed to be next gen, I can’t believe the awful number of closed doors we have to open, the vents we have to crawl through and the tight spaces they make us slowly wedge through. Poor design.

    Este juego es tu típico juego de terror genérico y que esta lleno de screamers como cualquier película de terror de la actualidad, el apartado artístico es poco original, flojo, feo y para nada atractivo, el soundtrack es bastante meh, el gameplay se basa en puro quick time event, el combate es una mecánica repetitiva, poco divertida y para nada intuitiva, la historia no es realmente laEste juego es tu típico juego de terror genérico y que esta lleno de screamers como cualquier película de terror de la actualidad, el apartado artístico es poco original, flojo, feo y para nada atractivo, el soundtrack es bastante meh, el gameplay se basa en puro quick time event, el combate es una mecánica repetitiva, poco divertida y para nada intuitiva, la historia no es realmente la gran cosa como querían hacerlo ver en los trailers (hasta es malisima), el rendimiento es realmente terrible y no solo ocurre en PC, no se esforzaron ni en el rendimiento y la actuación de personajes es bastante pretenciosa y sobreactuada.
    Esta cosa si siquiera se le puede llamar "videojuego" es la gran decepción del 2022, es realmente un insulto que quieran ver esta cosa como un sucesor espiritual de Dead Space, merece todo el review bombing por la decepción que es, no entiendo como la gente esperaba algo de este juego vendehumo y hasta antes de que saliera lo consideraban el GOTY del 2022    … Expand

    This is a complete scam. The game is technically the worse Ive played in years (janky cam, hits do not connect, glitched loot abs so on), the interaction between the two main persons doesent make sense in a lot of ways and for 70 Euro you dont even get the trie ending becaus you have to buy a dlc for that.

    Callisto Protocol makes some mistakes, but in general computing the good wins by far. It is true that it is somewhat angry to see that something with so much potential has not been fully squeezed, but what it offers is already much more than most. We trust that combat system that we have loved and its setting to make the game worthwhile and we would love to see a second installment.

    A visually beautiful sci-fi experience which, surprisingly, doesn’t resort to simply cloning Dead Space. The difficulty and the fear factor both don’t reach the heights I’d expect, however. A shame! It could have been extraordinary.
