Mar 25, 2024If you love South Park, this will be the best $30 you could spend to have another adventure with all your favorite characters. With a completely different game style than the most recent South Park games, Snow Day! gives you five chapters of the main story totaling 5-6 hours, side quests that can be done more than once on multiple difficulties, and plenty of cosmetics for you to unlock. Solo play gets a little difficult during the ending of the story, but with friends, it should be an enjoyable time for all.

Apr 4, 2024South Park Snow Day is a fun game that is a perfect fit for Game Pass or PlayStation Plus. I'd wait until it hits one of those services before checking it out.

Mar 25, 2024South Park Snow Day tries to once again change the reference genre of the franchise by moving towards the rogue-like: the cyclical setting, however, is undermined by an underlying repetitiveness and runs with little content and an overly confusing battle system. Also slapped in the face by a technical sector not up to the requirements, the winning ideas are not many and they are all linked to a narrative in line with the series. Fans of the South Park universe will have something to enjoy, especially thanks to the selling price of Snow Day (29.99 euros), but after The Stick of Truth and Scontri Di Recti it was reasonable to expect something more.

Mar 25, 2024South Park: Snow Day is, ultimately, a huge disappointment. This is so far removed from The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole that it really shouldn’t be considered to be related to them in any way. Sure, there’s a glimmer of trademark South Park humour here, but it’s not enough to make the repetitive, dull and painfully scrappy gameplay any more enjoyable. This is a snow day you can safely sit out of: stay home and play Stick of Truth again instead.
-
Apr 2, 2024On paper, South Park: Snow Day! sounds like a blast—a co-op RPG action set in the 3D world of the legendary series, complete with its trademark unfiltered humor. However, in practice, the completely broken combat system and very poor technical solutions make this title look like nothing more than a huge missed opportunity.
-
Mar 28, 2024As it stands we have a rather generic and repetitive short lived battle game that’s lacking any real gameplay innovation. The story is dull and there are not enough laughs.

Mar 26, 2024South Park: Snow Day's biggest sin is the complete lack of what made Fractured, But Whole and Stick of Truth work so well: their humor. Gone are many of the edgy jokes that made the previous two entries stick out, instead being replaced by characters that feel neutered and lacking the punch that helped make the animated series such a hit for oh so many years. Everything feels safe and stale, meaning that Snow Day is an easy pass for those looking to re-enter the world of South Park on their consoles or computers.
