May 7, 2024South Park: Snow Day! Is a decent attempt at ‘’mixing things up’’, changing genres and stepping into a 3D plane, but it falls somewhat short of reaching that milestone of excellence. With its shallow gameplay and repetitive and poorly balanced combat, Snow Day!’s only saving grace is its 4-player co-op. It’s great for South Park fans, too.

Apr 24, 2024A South Park game is always welcome, and Ubisoft has shown how to do it. THQ Nordic, on the other hand, is showing how not to do it. The levels are rather simplistic, the combat is stiff, it gets repetitive very quickly and the game has difficulty spikes. On top of that, South Park in 3D feels strange and the game just isn't that engaging. Still, to end on a positive note, the AI is okay and the original voices are used. However, that is not enough to justify a purchase.

Apr 11, 2024Compared with how much I loved the past two South Park games, I am deeply disappointed with Snow Day. Mindless, boring and repetitive, this game could have really been a cool and different entry into the franchise. Instead, the art style, combat and story leave the player wanting so much more. Playing in co-op is fun for a time and while the music can be excellent, the game just makes me long for another RPG style South Park game. Mmkay.
