    I would have given this an 8, but thanks to the review bombers I have to give it a ten

    My only real problems is that it has inconsistent momentum physics and the Drop Dash is unnecessary.

    Besides that it’s a genuinely great experience and an exceptional first steps in a fully open world 3D Sonic Game

    However SONIC TEAM NEEDS A LOT MORE THAN 15 PEOPLE GEEZUS

    A great game that creates a linchpin for the future of sonic games. Great character development, fun combat system and an enjoyable open world setting as well as the cyberspace.

    Huge step in the right direction for Sonic! Enjoyed this game from start to finish and the music is one of the best in the series. While not a perfect game the good out weights the bad. You can truly see the love and passion out into this game!

    really a great step forward for the sonic franchise, loved every moment of it. if I had to make a complaint id say the camera can get a bit wonky at times but even thats easy to look past with the sheer amount of awesome this game has to offer. soundtrack is mindblowing, gameplay is very fun if sonics usual style is your thing, and the little bonus content like the fishing minigame is veryreally a great step forward for the sonic franchise, loved every moment of it. if I had to make a complaint id say the camera can get a bit wonky at times but even thats easy to look past with the sheer amount of awesome this game has to offer. soundtrack is mindblowing, gameplay is very fun if sonics usual style is your thing, and the little bonus content like the fishing minigame is very charming. all in all, if you enjoy the sonic franchises gameplay style, i 100% recommend giving this game a go :)… Expand

    Has a few tiny shortcomings but the positives outweigh any negativity I could say, by far the best Controlling 3D Sonic in the past 15 or so years, and finally a good, engaging story, and holy damn... Super Sonic is the best he has ever been freaking EVER.

    OST also goes extremely hard but that's a given when it comes to Sonic.

    The music in this game carries the impact of the story! The battle are fun too! I love just running around with Sonic in an open zone like this? why wasn't this done sooner Sega!?

    this game is everything I'd hoped for! amazing soundtrack, interesting story and great gameplay with fluid combat. I can't wait to see how they approach the next instalment in the open World Series for Sonic!!

    Huge comeback for the blueblur. one of my favorite series in the sonic universe is the sonic adventure series, and I can safely say that not only it brought out back to that feeling, it did all that and then some. Sonic team finally has the right direction for sonic and I can't wait for what's in store. Don't listen to the over dramatic reviews. 2022 is the year of sonic. Welcome back!

    This is the best sonic game we had in a while. The open world was a fresh new take on the sonic series. Sonic controls pretty good and there is a lot to do in the games. The sound track is nice and the boss fights were amazing. Haven’t felt this good with a sonic game in a while.

    I loved the game a lot, I've been playing this beautiful game for 15 hours and I still haven't finished it. At first I was afraid that the game was trash, but I was wrong, it was the opposite. Although the game is not perfect at all, but it is enjoyable and I think it is the most important thing in a game. One last thing, please make your own opinions and don't take the opinion of aI loved the game a lot, I've been playing this beautiful game for 15 hours and I still haven't finished it.     One of if not the best sonic games in the last 15 years since Unleashed. Its great to see that the writing is a lot more confident in itself and isnt afraid to explore the characters in new ways. While theres a few graphic issues as well as being capped at 60 fps, I don't think it pulls enough from the overall experience to drop what I think is a 10/10 sonic experience. That being said, IOne of if not the best sonic games in the last 15 years since Unleashed.     This game is really good I hope they keep this format for the next game but evolve and make it better.
    The combat was pretty good could tho. The story was also really good but the ending needs more.
    So far so good just improve on what you have.

    Do not believe in reviews of such bad notes in Metascores. Some of them are very liars and these notes do not match the real quality of the title. The music is great, the game's story alone is the highest point of the game, bringing everything we like in a Sonic game.     This is a good direction for the franchise, and I am happy with the out come. playing with Super Sonic more often yes please!! Open zone is very fun and had a well thought out game loop amazing.

    Just an awesome step from Sonic Forces, this is they way. I think that with more time could have been a masterpierce, but aside from that it was a really fun time playing Sonic Frontiers.

    Such an amazing game. Don't really know how to express my love for it, but I will try my best. Story is interesting, liked the lore bits sprinkled throughout. Characters are more expressive and the dynamics between Sonic and the others were charming, and funny. Gameplay and Combat is fun and engaging. But my absolute favorite aspect about Sonic Frontiers is the **** SOUNDTRACK. EspeciallySuch an amazing game. Don't really know how to express my love for it, but I will try my best.     This game goes back to the Adventure formula borrowing all that SEGA has learned over the years to create a wonderful high speed romp through a cute story as the coolest baddest fastest hedgehog on the planet. It's hopefully a precursor for much greater things to come out of the franchise and introduces loveable and hateable new characters in in its story of epic proportions.     The idea and vision of the game is absolutely fabulous. In practice, however, the game is brought down by its execution, which you can see through after a short while and then the game has nothing to surprise you with. [Issue#324]

    There is nothing remotely redeeming about this game. Nothing that even the most die-hard loyal Sonic Fans would or should advocate for. I hope that one day someone who cares enough about this franchise could give us something-anything of substance. A fan can hope, can’t they? A fan can hope.

    Finally, after almost 25years of half measures and mostly mediocre titles, Sonic has finally reached the 3D levels of gameplay it needed to reach. Yes, the pop in is absolutely inexcusable and the ancient gatekeeping grindy methods damage the flow of the game for no reason, but a wonderfully built base exists here, with a highly entertaining adventure in wonderfully melancholic world and a surprisingly well founded story, thankfully clean of Sonic’s annoying 3rd tier friends!
